Update #2
Spoiler:

-Celtic or Rangers?
-Chelsea.
-RUN AWAY, HERETIC!

Now I know - there are two guys from England in Johto! Ouuuaargh!!!

We started our great, fantastic and irish journey. Every trainer we fought had to pay us - we're rich now. In Violet City there are two places we need to visit - tower in the north and Violet Gym with scary, german-looking trainer, Falkner. von Falkner? But first, the tower. England was here! He was stealin' a cookies when I was battling the trainers. Cheater! But I couldn't managed to catch him, as he used magical flying super rope.

Irish Rule #4 - only Englishman would use an escape rope after stealing a lot of cookies from sprout tower.

After the battle with Sage Li, Eamon evolved into...Bailiff? Bayleef...it's Eamon de Valera, anyway. Sage Li had to capitulate - we conquered the tower. Irish flag is wavin' here, for the glory of Ireland. Hooray...x_X
Next, we visited second important place - a Gym. Bird keepers couldn't do nothing, obviously. We talked to Falkner then. He are really from Germany. "Das cookies ist verboten here!" - owww, I had to leave my cookies in the gym depot :( Anyway, after about two minutes, I was exiting the gym, with my cookies and Zephyrbadge.

Elm wanted me to hold his egg(x_X). I said "Okay, but if it won't give me green Pokemon - I'll eat it." I know it won't. I'll take it anyway. I must take it...

When we're walkin' on the south, one guy gave us da Miracle Seed. Yeah.

The End.

Pokémon Gold
St. Patrick's Ultimate Challenge

Challenge Complete.

Today, I begin my adventure in Pokémon Gold. I figure that my eventual team of Meganium, Xatu, and Tyranitar will be able to defeat everyone pretty easily, but we'll see how it goes.
Anyway, I begin the game. Somebody decides to wake me up. I have no idea why, I'm still half asleep. Apparently, I don't remember what time it is either.

Professor Oak goes off on the normal pre-game rant that happens every generation. I speed through it. Now, the time comes to decide my name. As per routine, I choose the name 'Inferno', which just barely fits. I have to be the male character, since in Gold, there is no choice. I don't find it to be that big of a deal, but...

(This can be very misleading.)

Finally, I can truly begin. I rush downstairs, pressing the A button repeatedly to get through everything that the character's mother says. I go into Professor Elm's Lab, and I pick...

Yep, I pick the Grass-Type Chikorita. That's already one member of my team obtained. After everyone is done talking to me, I race through the routes, over to Cherrygrove. The Old Man gives me a map. I heal at the Pokémon Center, and head north. I finally reach his house, and obtain the egg and a Pokédex. Soon, after receiving a call from Elm, I must head back to New Bark. However, on the way back, a mysterious person stops me. We battle, and I win.

(Yes, yes I am. :D)

He runs off, so I pretend that nothing just happened and continue back home. Elm and a cop are talking. Apparently, that dude stole a Pokémon. Huh. Interesting. I tell the cop that his name was 'Silver'.

(unoriginal ftw)

Elm tells me to go get the eight badges. Yes, thank you. I think I will. :D I get some Pokéballs on the way out. Awesome, now I could capture Larvitar. I go back home, and tell mom that I'm going on an adventure. I decline her offer to save my money, and depart. Yay.
Outside, the first thing that I do is capture my wonderful Larvitar. I run around until one appears.

(Awesome. :D)

I decide to train it up a bit, so it's at least level 10. I also do this to Chikorita, although I only have to train 2 levels. Boy, the next gym is going to be a walk in the park. At last, I travel to Violet City. I battle many trainers, including Youngster Joey, along the way. I capture a Pidgey and a Bellsprout too, for HM purposes.
Now, I decide to take on the Gym first.

It's pretty easy, but darn Mud-Slap ends up making all of Larvitar's Bite attacks miss, then faint. Chikorita nearly has the same fate. But luckily, it didn't. I get the badge, and then obtain the Togepi egg from Elm's assistant. I leave it in my party because I'm too lazy to use the PC. Anyway, I heal and head to the Sprout Tower.
I get though pretty quickly, and as quick as I am in, I head out with Flash. On to the next town!
While exiting the city, I talk to a dude, who gives me a Miracle Seed. I give it to Chikorita. I quickly get over to the next Pokémon Center and heal, and enter Union Cave. However, my Chikorita soon evolves into Bayleef. (However, I was too slow to get a shot of this, my bad. D:)
I get out quickly, and defeat the Rockets at the well. Bugsy is next, but I decide to defeat my rival first. Then, I grind just a bit, so Larvitar can learn Rock Slide. Because of this, Bugsy is taken out easily.

(I keep forgetting to get screenshots...but I got this. xD)

Now that all my business was done, I head into the Ilex Forest, and get the kid's Farfetch'd. I obtain Cut, and teach it to Bellsprout. I zip through the forest, battle some trainers, and then I arrive at Goldenrod. I heal, then head into the Department Store, and buy a Fire Punch TM to teach my future Tyranitar. I go into the Radio Tower and get the ability to use my radio on the Pokégear. Next, I go to battle Whitney, who turns out to be a pushover, thanks to Larvitar's Rock Slide.

(I'm a meanie. D:)

I heal, then go into the house where you get the Squirtbottle. After I'm already at the point where you capture Sudowoodo, I remember that I needed to get the Bicycle. I decide to go back for it later. But before that happens...

After I capture Sudowoodo and get to Ecruteak, I defeat the Kimono Girls, and obtain Surf. However, after fighting the Kimono Girl that had Jolteon...

With my awesome Pupitar, I take out my rival and Morty. Bite destroys everyone in the gym, and Rock Slide wrecked Silver's team.

(Yeah, I forgot again.)

I traveled then to Olivine, and got the Good Rod. Time to backtrack. I go back to Ecruteak, and capture a Poliwag for water HM purposes. Then, I head to the Union Cave, and travel through the way to Ruins of Alph. While still inside the Union Cave, my Bayleef evolves.

I battle the Psychic, and capture a Natu.

(Finally.)

It's not long after that this happens:

(Natu only had to gain a level to evolve. xD)

I obtain Strength, and head to Cianwood. Chuck is defeated easily by Xatu and Meganium. Then, I get get Fly, teach it to Xatu, and fly to Olivine. Amphy is given the Secretpotion, so Jasmine leaves. She is also defeated at her gym by Pupitar and Meganium.

I head to Mahogany Town. I go up to the Lake of Rage, and capture the Shiny Gyarados. After this, I speak to Lance. I agree to help him, and head to the suspicious building. After his Dragonite uses Hyper Beam to defeat one of the dudes, we head down the stairs. The statue sets off an alarm, and I must defeat two Rockets. I head slightly south to defeat the Scientist, and shut the alarm off. Basically, I just clear out the whole building, getting all the passwords and whatnot. After the Electrodes are defeated, I head to the gym, where I take out Pryce quite easily.

(Me too.)

Elm calls me. Apparently, the Radio Tower's broadcast is screwed up. So lets see what we can do. :D
The tower is invaded. I heal, then climb the tower. The executive in disguise is defeated, and I head off again to find the director. Along the way, I defeat 4 Rockets, my Rival, and 2 burglars. Then, I defeat even more members of Team Rocket once I get into the department store's basement. I get the Card Key from the director, and leave.
I heal once again, then head up the tower for the second time. This time, my final opponent is a executive with a Houndour, Houndoom, and a Koffing. Pupitar takes them all out with Rock Slide. Finally, I can go to Blackthorn.
I traverse through the Ice Cave, obtaining Waterfall, and making it through quite easily. The Blackthorn Gym turns out to be quite easy. I just move some boulders, battle, and win.

(Yes. Yes you did.)

Now I'm ready for the League. I decide to get the Master Ball from Elm, then I head to Kanto. Through Tohjo Falls I go easily. Before I know it, I'm at Victory Road. (Did I mention how much I love Victory Road in this game?) I find TM26, which is Earthquake, immediately. Then, I take on Silver one last time. He gets wrecked. I head up to the League just to heal, then I go back to Victory Road to train a bit more. Soon, Pupitar evolves, and I teach it Earthquake.

(<3)

My entire team is around level 50, so I begin the E4. They all go down pretty easily, without any problems.

Now, I battle Lance, the Champion. As you can imagine, Rock Slide just dominates his entire team, and I defeat him.

This now means that the Gold portion of this Ultimate is over, and completed in only six hours. :D I will be getting to Emerald version ASAP.

The Final Team

Meganium Lv. 54
Razor Leaf, Body Slam, PoisonPowder, Reflect

Tyranitar Lv. 58
Crunch, Rock Slide, Earthquake, Thrash

Xatu Lv. 54
Fly, Future Sight, Night Shade, Confuse Ray

Pokémon Emerald
St. Patrick's Ultimate Challenge

Part 1

Alrighty, so now, I will begin Pokémon Emerald, with , , , and
I start the game out as usual. Name myself 'Inferno', and I choose the female character. The game begins with me in a shaking vehicle of some sort. It turns out to be a moving van. I go inside my new house with my mom, and see what's going on. Pokémon are moving several boxes around the house. I go upstairs.
The clock is set correctly, and after seeing my new room, I go downstairs. I head next door to see my new neighbor, who turns out to be a guy. After that, I head north, and a guy is being attacked by a Zigzagoon. I save him with a Treecko.
He lets me keep the Pokémon. I choose not to nickname it, and leave for Oldale Town. I train a little bit, then fight Brendan. He goes down easily. After that, we both head back to the Lab. I obtain a Pokédex and some Poké Balls. My in-game mother gives me the Running Shoes, and I'm off. I grind a tiny bit more, then I capture a Lotad.

After that, I train a bit more, then head to Petalburg. I help Wally get his Ralts, then depart for Rustboro. I battle a bunch of trainers on the way, then train to about level 20 once I get there. It takes quite a while, but it proves to be worthwhile. While this happens...

Finally, after a while, I'm more than ready to take on Roxanne. She proves to be no challenge.

(Yes, you lost.)

After this happens, a random guy comes running along. Guess it's my job to see what's wrong, eh? I go over to Rusturf Tunnel, where an old guy apparently had a Wingull stolen. I head inside, and fight the Aqua member. I get Peeko back. Then, I head over to Mr. Briney's house, after getting everything else in the city done.
I sail over to Dewford, deciding to battle the gym first, since I'm probably overleveled.

(Was a little late on the shot here)

After getting the badge, I heal up and head into Granite Cave. I'm sure to grab Flash before going any farther, although I don't even use it. (Or attempt to capture a Pokémon that can use it) I soon arrive at the room where Steven is. I deliver the letter, get Steel Wing, and leave. I depart with Mr. Briney to Slateport.
I defeat everyone on the beach with ease. Then, I try to give the Devon Goods to some random guy, but he referred me to the Oceanic Museum. I enter, and there are Team Aqua members everywhere. I decide to ignore them, and head up the stairs to see a guy. I assume he was the one I was supposed to give the goods to, so I do just that, right after I defeat two grunts.
I leave for Mauville after healing. I fight Brendan on the way there, but he is taken down. As soon as I arrive, I heal at the Pokémon Center. I find something pretty cool there.

(Pretty fitting for a St. Patrick's day challenge.)

Anyway, I train a bit before taking on Wattson. It's a pretty intense match, but I end up victorious.

(Sooooooooo close.)

After I win here and get both Rock Smash and Strength, I head to Fallarbor. Once there, I continue to Meteor Falls, and follow both the teams to Mt. Chimney. I take the way I came to get there, while battling some trainers. Team Magma grunts there are a pushover, but after battling one of them...

(Grovyle evolves! :D)

The very next battle is the one with Maxie. He is defeated quite easily.

(What?! xD)

As I make my way to Lavaridge, I battle a mysterious Magma member, and gain a few more levels. I quickly enter the gym, and begin to battle Flannery. Torkoal was the only semi-challenging Pokémon on her team, but he quickly ran out PP for both Body Slam and Overheat, so Lombre is free to sweep. I never even sent out Sceptile.

I exit the gym after getting the badge and Overheat, and see Brendan. I get the Go-Goggles, and travel into the desert. I quickly look for a Trapinch for my team.

(Yay. :D)

Not long after, I see the Mirage Tower, and using my Mach Bike, I climb it, obtaining the Root Fossil. I use the Rusturf Tunnel to get to the Devon Co. building, so I can get my fossil revived. It doesn't take too long. Soon, I have my Lileep. This gives me two brand-new Pokémon to work on training, which I get to immediately. It takes so long, so I stop for tonight after getting both to about level 30.

The Current Team

Trapinch Lv. 31
Bite, Sand-Attack, Faint Attack, Sand Tomb

Lileep Lv. 32
Astonish, Acid, Confuse Ray, Ingrain

Sceptile Lv. 39
Screech, Pursuit, Leaf Blade, Quick Attack

Lombre Lv. 39

Update

Okay I'm just going to say it, I have about 23 hours playtime, only beat three gym leaders and my Pokemon are at level 51 and 49. And then a filler. As to why? I've been ev training in attack/special attack (even though it probably sucks compared to others) because the Pokemon that give good defense I can't get early on. ;__; Plus I hate using grass types. I've gotten somewhat through the saffron rocket thing, and I've beaten the fighting dojo. Right now I'm just battling trainers til Weepinbell can learn Slam.

So! "Battling" team at the moment:

Weepinbell: 52, "Superstars"
Razor Leaf
Wrap
Acid
Stun Spore

[Attack: 129, Defense: 64, SP Atck: 132, SP Defense: 60, Speed: 84]

Venusaur: 49, "Dove"
Razor Leaf
PoisonPowder
Leech Seed
Strength

[Attack: 100, Defense: 89, SP Atck: 135, SP Defense: 119, Speed: 116]

I'm just going to defeat these trainers and defeat the gym that can get surf then go train in defense if I still can. XD

Pokémon Emerald
St. Patrick's Ultimate Challenge

Part 2;
Challenge Complete!

I finish training my two newest team members. They both evolve into Vibrava and Cradily respectively. (Although I fail to get screenshots of either of these evolutions...xD) Now, I decide it's time for the 5th gym. I enter, battle all the trainers I can, heal, and prepare to face Norman.

Thanks to Cradily, this match is soloed. I head on to Fortree City next. On the way there, I encounter Steven, but he runs off quickly. I battle many trainers, and also encounter one of the villainous teams. I defeat all of them, and rest in the available bed. Brendan also rushes over to battle me, but he is defeated as well.
And...Scott is still following me.
Anyway, I head on over to Steven's location, and obtain the Devon Scope. I get rid of the one hiding in front of the gym, and enter. The trainers inside are defeated pretty easily. During one of the battles...

Flygon ends up being a huge help during the gym battle with Winona, but I decide to split the match between Flygon and Cradily. No one on my opponent's team really give me much of a challenge.

I move on, battling even more trainers along the way. Near the Safari Zone, Team Magma are seen heading to Mt. Pyre. I follow, chasing them away at the peak. I head back to the Jagged Pass, where the Magma Emblem sets something off. I go inside the newly discovered cave. Inside, I find some items, and defeat Maxie. Next, I'm off to Slateport.
Team Aqua steals the Submarine Explorer, so I head off to the Aqua base. I take out Aqua Admin Matt, but Archie is already gone. So I continue to my original destination; Mossdeep.
While on the way there, I manage to locate a Blue Shard, and trade it in for a Water Stone. I take this opportunity to evolve my Lombre.

I continue on to Mossdeep Gym. It is there that I take on the Gym Leaders. The puzzle is solved with relative ease, and I find them in a special room. I prepare for the battle.

Ludicolo's Surf rules the match. Everything is 2HKO'ed easily. Next, I head to the Space Center, where I fight some Magma members, even helping Steven with a match. After this, it's off to Seafloor Cavern, where many Aqua members waited. I eventually get to fight Archie, and he awakens Kyogre. Outside, it is pouring. I rush to Sootopolis.
Groudon and Kyogre are fighting like crazy, and apparently it's my job to stop them. So, I head to the top of Sky Pillar, and awaken Rayquaza. After he settles everything down, Maxie and Archie leave, and I enter the Sootopolis Gym. The puzzle is solved, and I prepare to take on Juan.

Ludicolo has to stall to take out Kingdra, but besides that, everything goes well. It's finally time for the E4!
I head to Ever Grande, and heal. I press on through Victory Road, defeating several trainers, including Wally. After I finally make it through, I train for a few more levels, until I know that I'm ready.
I grab some more items from the shop, and battle all the E4 members. (I forgot to get a shot of my battle with Sidney, so I didn't take any for the others either. I thought it'd be kind of...useless.)
After they are taken out, I'm ready for the final battle.

Wallace is defeated, thanks to teamwork and sacrifices made by everyone, Sceptile deals the final blow. Brendan rushes to give me advice, but by that time, it's already over. I am taken to put my team into the Hall of Fame, thus ending this portion of my Ultimate Challenge.

The Final Team

Flygon Lv. 56
Crunch, Screech, Dragonbreath, Earthquake

Cradily Lv. 52
Ancientpower, Amnesia, Confuse Ray, Ingrain

Sceptile Lv. 57
Screech, Slam, Leaf Blade, Detect

Ludicolo Lv. 58
Surf, Fake Out, Absorb, Nature Power

It tosses its enemies around with agility. It uses all its limbs to fight in its own unique style.

Update

I decided to speed up the game a bit, and beat Erika, Sabrina and Koga. All of which would've been hard had I not trained my Pokemon in Attack (won't let me train in defense, though ;__;)

Anyways,

Victreebel: 62, "Superstars"
Razor Leaf
Slam
Acid
Toxic

Venusaur: 55, "Dove"
Razor Leaf
PoisonPowder
Strength
Leech Seed

Also, still with the one grass filler. Caught a Gyarados so I could surf, caught a Doduo by accident and now it flies, also got that gift Lapras. Not using any of them, though.

On my way to battle the other gym leaders or something. :D Oh and yes Weepinbell evolved. And I also beat Team Rocket at Saffron. I intend to speed through the gym leaders and somehow quickly make it to the Elite Four and win before B/W.

Ko the Grovyle Lv. 29
Yo the Trapinch Lv. 27
Go the Zigzagoon Lv. 5

Breloom's been AMAZING so far. :) Grovyle's been rather disappointing... Not sure I'll keep using it.

Okay so I feel too lazy to make too big of a post.

After healing in Viridian City I headed towards the Pokemon League. I was interrupted my Shigeru. He battled me. I was able to defeat him even though most of his Pokemon had a type advantage. I then continued on towards Victory Road showing my badges to guards. I got to and through Victory Road soon after and was at the Pokemon League. My first opponent was Lorelei. I managed to defeat her without taking any damage! My next opponent was a tiny bit harder. Though Bruno still went down pretty easily. My next opponent was Agatha. Beating her Pokemon was extremely hard. To beat her Gengar I had to use a combination of Sleep Powder and Attract to stall them out so I could slowly chip away at their health with Razor Leaf. My fourth opponent was Lance. Lance was easier that Agatha but his Aerodactyl gave me a bit of trouble as it out sped all my Pokemon. My final opponent was Shigeru. I managed to defeat his Pidgeot with a combination of Sydian's Sleep Powder, Razor Leaf and Return attacks. His next Pokemon was Alakazam. After taking one Psychic attack Sydian was able to defeat it using Sleep Powder and Return. His next Pokemon was Charizard. For this I switched to Chaos. I managed to take it down using Sleep Powder and Strength. His next Pokemon was Exeggutor. For this I switched to Ayselipera. After Sleep Powder and Double-Edge I was fainted. His next Pokemon was Rhydon. With one Razor Leaf that fainted. Shigeru's las Pokemon was Gyarados. I switched to Chaos and with a combination of Sleep Powder and Razor Leaf we came out victorious. Shigeru didn't know why he lost so Professor Oak came and told him and then he took me to the Hall Of Fame. My Pokemon were registered on a computer and then the credits rolled. This concludes my St. Patrick's Day Challenge!
