I can agree with that entirely. Burger King is pretty awesome.

Although the Sausage and Egg McMuffin from McDonald's is pretty good. =/

Their fries are less greasy believe it or not. Which is why they suck, since they used to use animal fat to give it more flavor. Burger King has "The King" McDonald's has a Clown. Obviously BK Mascot wins.

I think what you tend to realise when you're older and more knowledgeable to know about McDonalds and the like, is that it's just terrible. Sure I'll eat it if it was offered to me, but I'd prefer to go down to say, the local fish+chip shop just so I can get a decent burger, which you know it's cooked right on a stove and everything, instead of just stuff together in a microwave.

Wait, did you just say McDonalds tastes good? D:

But in all seriousness, nothing beats a good home-cooked meal. I think what really turns me off McDonalds right now is the "baked" range they have going, with like, mairnated chicked and fish bites and probably something else which they consider "baked" or something. :/

Bales = microwaved jsyk.

My school had the simple canteen setting where you walk in, pay for what you want and get out. It was rather expensive I guess, with a cup of chips/wedges being $3 or so, things like a salad would be $5, and then there were a few other things as well which I had.

I actually remember leaving school grounds a few times for lunch. My group just said we were certificate/TAFE students and whoever was patrolling the gates let us go. To be fair, we were under the assumption that we were allowed to get lunch from the local deli becase of that reason. :/

That's about what mine would have costed. Tbh my school lunch wasn't terribad I just preferred to buy hot from the co-op near my school. 70p (40cents?) for an awesome box of potato wedges and £1 (55 Cents?) for a cheese and onion pasty ftw.
For some reason each time I hear 'pasty' I remember back when I read the book series Redwall XD

That's pretty cheap. French fries over at my school cost $1.10 :x

I really don't eat out unless I'm with friends (which is sadly not as often as it should be). Eating at home that way you can control your diet, plus it's much cheaper anyway. As for McDonald and fast food... yes I know it's bad but some how I find McDonald fries to be much better than the fries elsewhere XD But I only go there if there's discounts now XD

Hm Canadian school no such thing as school lunch, so it's always lunch from home. No sandwich for me though (not that I hate sandwich.) Usually family cooks extra for dinner, and then we all bring leftovers for lunch next day XD

I remember one day in the holidays, when I went to school to catch up on some work, because my teacher is nice, and my home study area sucks (I didn't have what I needed for it), we all brang Subway into school for lunch. I'm gonna dub that day "bring your subway to work" day.

At university, I'd usually just buy a sausage from one of the vendors on campus. I'd also buy falafel pitas from time to time. And, very rarely, chili from Wendy's. There are some better places to eat down in the student centre, but that's not near any of my classes/labs. So, have to go with what's in the buildings where I am.

In highschool, I would buy lunch once and a while. When I did, it was pasta. Never had the fries or pizza there, which were big sellers. Both looked disgusting. Usually, I brought my own lunch.

No lunch to buy in elementary school except for the occasional "hot lunch" day, which was often false. It's supposed to "McDonald's Day" and we get a burger from Dairy Queen. Or [insert specific pizza chain here] and instead some parent brings in bread they baked with sauce on top of it :\

Teachers were also want their lunch break in the teacher's lounge. So, they don't watch the class. You get 10 minutes for lunch and then have a super long "recess" after. So, I went home for lunch. Didn't have to shove food down my throat in 10 minutes. Got a hot meal every day. Got to watch TV or play video games before going back to school

First college: I went to the school cafeteria like I had usually done. At the second college, I either bought food from home or spammed the vending machines for food.

In highschool, I rotated between getting my own lunch [which was usually eaten in class] and buying the school lunch [which was mostly starchy items]. Everyone went for the pizza and the western fries.
