Because you seem new to the whole writing community thing, let me let you in on a little tip.
In most cases, you do
not want to create threads like these. Some people are more inclined to skip over your story because they see it as a sign that you're just here to advertise your story instead of participate in the community. This goes especially for fic communities that have specific places where you can advertise your work.
For example, while the announcement thread is dead (meaning it's okay if you thought you're not supposed to post in it because technically, you're not), PC has
the Review Challenge, which provides for you connections to people who
will review your story if you ask them nicely.
Moreover, in general, the more acceptable etiquette around here is to just put a link to your story in your sig and go comment on other people's work or participate in discussion threads wherever possible. (This allows your story to get more exposure because more people will catch a glimpse of your sig the more you post in different forums and threads.) Alternatively, ask people you're already friends with via VM or PM, or look around the forum at the people you want to see review your work and send them a note. In other words, the more you reach out to a community, the more likely we'll review back because it's clear that you're not the kind of person who just wants attention for their story and that's that, you know what I mean?
For everything else, I highly suggest reading over
this guide for tips on how to get more reviews. It also has tips on who and where to ask on a writing community.
