The Hangover, Part II

http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi938450201/

Memorial day, 2011

I cannot wait to see this movie. The first one was probably one fo my favorite party/frat boy movies of all time, and it was absolutely hilarious to boot.

Anybody else interested as me? :D

I can't wait :D

I think I'm gonna go see it in theaters this time. But, The Hangover never gets old. I've watched it so many times.
I've seen the first one more times than I can remember. XD It's awesome. Plus is looks to me like the same formula is being applied to Part II, so It's looking like it'll be just as good.

Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't you rather see something new and more fresh rather than simply applying the same formula to a different setting? I'm just wondering how they're going to make Mike Tyson and Ken Jeong's appearances organic within the story. Should be interesting, at least, to see how everyone pulls this one off...

You can only change so much in this type of genre. (which basically means not much - party, wild outlandish fun, resolution of the central plot, rinse & repeat):/ They're all basically the same, but it doesn't matter to me really. I'll love the movie regardless. In other genres and movies, I'd certainly care about that. But The Hangover is amazing anyway. XD

moments.

Honestly, I am the only that I know who didn't enjoy the Hangover... I'm not saying it isn't funny, because obviously with the mass popularity it has gained, it is in fact funny to a wide majority of the people, but I myself really disliked it. I didn't laugh once, I sat there wanting to leave. I just don't find that sort of, crude, below the belt type humour. Will not be seeing the sequel... :O

I don't particularly feel excited for it. I enjoyed the first one, but I had some issues as to how they were going to make a second one without it being a carbon copy of the first. Saw the trailer and I can see where they're going with it. Should definitely be interesting to see, and I'm sure I'll have a good laugh. XD

I'm also pretty excited just because it comes out right as summer begins, and a good funny movie to start summer would be pretty nice after a long boring semester. XD

Sorta news: Liam Neeson's role as a Bangkok tattoo artist (and previously the role of Mel Gibson) has been cut and reshot with John Cassavettes in the role: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118035212 (Need to subscribe to read).
