I like a pretty wide cast of villains. However, I favor a select few:
1. Dr. Robotnik (Sonic the Hedgehog 2). He was pretty much the first video game villain I ever was exposed to. He didn't talk any, but then again he didn't need to. Seeing him get beat up, blown up, and then run from the scene as fast as possible cemented a place for him in my heart. :)
2. Baron K. Roolenstein (Donkey Kong Country 3). He may seem like an unlikely canidate, but his pre-final boss fight conversation with Dixie was always funny to me. I would play that level over and over again just to hear him fuss about the fact that his wife's gonna kill him for using all of her best pots and pans to make KAOS, which was laying in a pile of rubble off to the side. XD Ah, the memories...
3. Silver (Pokemon Gold/Silver). Let's face it, he was one of if not the most unique character in Pokemon Silver. I didn't really like him at first due to his attitude toward his poor Totodile (I always picked Cyndaquil, so he got a Totodile), but with the continued fights with him in the storyline (Especially the Soulsilver remake) I became more intrigued by his character. He was one of the things that made Silver memorable.
4. GLaDOS (Portal, Portal 2) I never actually played Portal myself. I watched my brother play it, though. When I heard her voice for the first time, I was sorta confused. I had some knowledge of her beforehand, that she was an evil AI with a lovely singing voice and a penchant for killing people. I didn't quite believe it was her voice until my brother explained to me that yes, this was her. As I watched him play the game, I continually laughed and giggled at GLaDOS's snarky comments and polite-sounding voice. Thus I came to like GLaDOS. :)
I like quite a few villains, as I've said before. Many of which I haven't mentioned here. These five (numbered in random order) are just some of the ones that influenced me. (and still influence me.)
P.S. You can kill me all you like, but I think Sephiroth deserves an honorable mention. That guy's just plain insane. :\
I support:
