Shuckle has the highest Defence and Special Defence stats of all pokemon which can both reach a maximum of 614
After using Power Trick it can have the highest attack stat of all pokemon (also 614)
It has the joint lowest Speed of all pokemon
It has the joint lowest Special Attack of all pokemon.
But what moves should you teach it?
Power Split - Averages its attack and special attack with the targets (lowering the targets attack stats whilst increasing its own)
Guard Split - Averages its defence and special defence with the targets (can be used in multi battles to help with teammates defences)
Sandstorm - Creates a sandstorm (Increases special defence by 50%, danages all pokemon which are not rock, steel and ground)
Toxic - Badly poisons the target (Good for wearing the target down)
Rollout & Defence Curl - Raises defence and doubles power of rollout (Good for dealing good damage)
Gyro Ball - The slower the pokemon is compared to the target, the more powerful it is (Good because shuckle is so slow, works very well if Power Split has been used)
Rest - The user falls asleep and recovers its HP (Good for keeping shuckle in)
Wrap/Sand Tomb with pressure band - Takes away 1/8 of the targets HP if shuckles holding pressure band (Good if toxis and sandstorm has been used)
Power Trick - Swaps its Attack and Defence (Makes it have incredible Attack Stat but paper thin Defence)
So the question is... how to use Shuckle:
Which moves to teach?
Which Nature?
Which EV's?
Which Item to hold?
Personally I would go for a nature that improves HP but lowers speed, attack or special attack then have 252 HP evs and 130 evs into defence and special defence
Then I would have power switch, toxic, wrap and either rest, gyro ball or sandstorm
I would have it hold binding band to double the amount of damage from bind
