I haven't used it yet. I'll probbaly use it on Volcarona.
Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason to use it on Volcarona? A paralyzed red or low-yellow health Volcarona can easily be caught in a Net Ball, or at least for me. Using a Master Ball on a non-legendary just doesn't make sense to me.

i still haven't used it, and probably won't ever. I have all the legendary pokemon you can catch in the game without events, and i cought them all with ultra balls. :P I never really found the master ball useful, and it made no sense to throw away any possible challenge but just catching a legendary pokemon with no struggle at all.

I caught zekrom with my master ball, Kyurem Got burned by my volcorona's flame body luckily and was knocked down to yellow health when I threw an ultra ball and caught on my third try. Speaking of volcarona I got it from the relic castle when I was plasma sage hunting. Was strongest pokemon at the time but is now topped by my hydreigon.

I havn't gotten around to those deer/beast looking legendary trio yet but I have cleared my way to the one in mistralton cave when I realized I didn't have any pokeballs left so I had to use dig and thaught I'd come back at some point to catch it.

You might face-palm yourself after reading this, but Zekrom and Reshiram have the same catch rate as Deino. I caught them each with a normal Poke Ball, and they didn't even have status ailments.

Master balls are for noobs who can't earn their catches =P. I used it because I was lazy and knew my best friend had an action replay he used for unlimited master balls on his platnum. If I'm ever in THAT much frustration I can see him but:

status ailment move + damage move(s) + ultra balls = good enough.

I used mine on Thundurus, due to getting tired of chasing it around. The other legendaries were too easy to use a master ball on.

I haven't used mine yet, I really haven't saw a need for me to actually put it to any use.

Deino is not the only pokemon with same catch rate... many, MANY pokemon have same or lower catch rate (45, or 5.9 percent chance of catching them with regular pokeball with full health, no stauts) than the yin yang duo. Then you only need average of 4-5 soft resets to catch either of them in a quick ball in first turn (therefore acting like a master ball).

List of non-legendary and catchable pokemon that have lower catch rate than Reshiram & Zekrom.

- Ditto (35, or 4.6 percent chance to catch it with regular pokeball with full health, no status - Though its catch rate can change depending on the pokemon it transforms to)
- Chansey, Murkrow, and Absol (30, or 3.9
percent chance to catch it with regular pokeball with full health, no status)
- Clefable, Snorlax, Steelix, Mantine, Skarmory, Relicanth, Mantyke, Basculin, and Cryogonal (25, or 3.3 percent chance to catch it with regular pokeball with full health, no status)
- Volcarona (15, or 2 percent chance to catch it with regular pokeball with full health, no status)
- Beldum, Metang, and Metagross (Same catch rate as most legendaries, which is 3, or 0.4 percent chance to catch it with regular pokeball with full health, no status)

To answer the original question, I still didn't use either of my masterballs. I'm planning on catching a tornadus (I have black version), or shiny that I can't lower its HP without making it faint.
