I'm not really sure what to do with it, this is what I have.

[email protected]/Liechi Berry/Leftovers [Trait:Rock Head]
Nature:Adamant
EVs:252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 def
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Double Edge (Rock Head, and power)
Fire Blast (Anti-Skarm)

Any suggestions are welcome.

Choice Band works for Aero as well, pumps up the power as well as recoil-free Double-Edge attacks. He's fast enough not to need Salac, although Liechi is nice. Leftovers should be used if you're using a Substitute

So, this is a good set, I accually did a good one that didn't need fixing, yay!!!

I never really uinderstood CB, I know it powers them up, but what if you need to use another move. Or what if you run out of PP for the move that you used first and you have CB on them?

I was going to put CB on him because I heard it was good, and it probaly is, I'll have to try it.

The trick to using a Choice Band is simple - if you need to use a different move - switch out, then you can switch in and choose the new move. Of course if you're going anti-Skarmbliss, CB works against you, since you cant' change moves on the fly

I was thinking that but I wasn't sure if it would work.

I put Fire Blast on him for Anti-Skarm.

If it has CB, then don't use FB. Skarm will already get a free turn of Spikes on the switch to be able to use FB. You may as well switch to something else that can KO Skarmory -- and save yourself from yet another layer of Spikes.

all i have 2 do to combat aerodactyl is use dugtrio and have him use torment. then aerodactyl can only use the move everyother turn, and has 2 struggle on the rest of the turns. and aerodactyl cant switch out. its my new version of the anti-cbdactyl

I know but I still would rather not have the CB on him, but I might try it in the future.

Nothing to say about that Aerodactyl. I use the same Aerodactyl moveset and has always worked fine. It would be nice if his attack and speed could be boosted by a team member.. then it's totally amazing. Try it out and u'll see ;)

He's making this aerodactyl because I just told him I'm working on one. :\ Don't know why he felt compelled to do this.

I just wanted to see what I could do with it, I put it in one of my boxes in NB anyway, other people are using it to, so I thought I'd try it, I didn't even think of you when I was making it.

Right... You only posted it mere minutes after I told you I was working on an aerodactyl and was in need of a moveset... Although I'm sure it has nothing to do with it... :\

I really wasn't, I forgot about that, I thought it'd be fun to make random Pokes anyway, so I could change my team from time to time, and I've got box storage area to keep them in on Net Battle.

The point of this thread is not how I got the idea to make an idea to make it it is to rate it, and give any suggestions you have, so if you have no constructive critisim, then you have no need to be here.

Don't lecture me on the rules Mullet as if you know better than me. I'm fully aware of what purpose this topic is supposed to serve. I already plan on taking my own request elsewhere, THank you very much. So don't talk to me like that unless you expect the same.

Dugtrio will still die to nearly any one of Aerodactyl's attacks, and Aerodactyl is faster. Counting the switch, Aero will get 2 turns to attack you before you can even use Torment. I don't think Dugtrio would make a good counter for Aerodactyl.

You would have to use an icebeamer resistant to rock moves to take aerodactyl down, which is why I would think Swampert would be teh best choice.

JOLLY, 252 Speed/Attack, 6 HP
Rock Head
-Double-Edge
-Rock Slide
-HP Flying (Aerial Ace otherwise)
-Earthquake

A status move can shut down Aero but good if you don't have a beller. He's powerful, but you have you know how to use him. Also, I've gotten so many flinchhaxes out of Rock Slide it's not even funny anymore.

The Jolly nature is a good idea, but I need an Anti-Skarm, so I'll take Fire Blast over HP Flying, or Aerial Ace, and plus I don't have him CB'ed so I'll keep Liechi on him, and I'll keep the Adamant nature. :D

Fire moves on Aerodactyl = Suicide.

Anti-Skarm = Blaziken, tried and proven.

I like to have a good fire move other than Blaziken, so I can kill other steel Pokes incase he gets K.O.'ed, it's not that bad.

This is total rubbish.
1) Dugtrio would die to almost any attack by aero.
2) Arena trap doesn't work on flying pokemon.
3) Any person with common sense would switch out after torment.
