We all know the game-breaking Ground/Dragon Pokémon right? So, here's my question.

Here's a sprite of an ordinary male Garchomp

Here's the shiny sprite of a male Garchomp

Anyone see any differences?

If you look closely at the shiny Garchomp, the colours of a shiny are juuuust a bit lighter than its regular counterpart.

I thought the Shiny is darker. The one on the bottom is the shiny one, right?

Shinies blue or w/e color is a bit duller, not as bright. It seems to have a bit of a green contrast to it, though that just may be my poor eyesight. I think they just rushed Garchomp though >_>

The bottom one is shiny, yes.

And it could be classed as darker or lighter, I suppose. I guess I got mixed up, it's most likely darker. But, in any case, the colouring has a subtle difference in tone.

The shiny Garchomp's darker and is more of a navy blue, whereas the regular Garchomp sprite is royal blue. Honestly, I prefer the shiny colored Garchomp, I think it looks pretty rad in navy. On the bright side, at least a shiny Gible is easy to spot, if you ever hope to hunt a shiny Garchomp.

Yep, they sure did.

They could of at least made one part of the body a noticeably different color (such as making the yellow star on Garchomp's head black or something)

Since discussion isn't going to go much beyond the above and 'well that's lazy with Garchomp' (and hence not really about a 4th-gen specific thing beyond 'sprite of one 4th gen Pokemon) and talking about Pokemon sprites already has its own thread as a thread sticky in Pokemon Gaming Central, I'll just close (as I can't merge with other threads in different sections, herp).
