SOILERS.

Spoiler:
Quote:
Tornadus has Regenerator, Thundurus has Volt Absorb, Landorus has Intimidate
With their new formes & the item giving them that forme. I can definitely see Landorus rise in usage from that ability, especially considering how many physical attackers are in OU and given its soon-to-be attack boost, it'll be pretty common imo and much more useful!! Thoughts??? DON'T FORGET SPOILER TAGS FOR KARP SINCE KARP WANTS TO AVOID SPOILERS!

Spoiler:
Landorus's attack boost + intimidate... well. might as well just put down your games, it's gonna destroy everything D8

Is the PokeCommunity server down? I don't see it on the registry.

Here are the ones that I know of (anyone can correct me if I'm wrong here):
-Hyper-offense: they're mostly comprised of sweepers who do as much damage as they can to the opposition (with support from Reflect/Light Screen to make up for their normally meager defenses, as well as Stealth Rock/Spikes to reduce the amount of PP they use for their moves)
-Rain: utilizes Rain Dance or Politoed (OU)/Kyogre (Ubers) to give the rest of the team benefits from the rain (increased power of Water moves, healing from Dry Skin, 100% accurate Thunders, increased Speed for Swift Swim Pokemon, reduced damage from Fire moves). Note that Swift Swim Pokemon can't be used with Drizzle Pokemon.
-Sun: utilizes Sunny Day or Ninetales (OU)/Groudon (Ubers) to allow other Pokemon to benefit from it (increased power of Fire moves, increased Speed for Chlorophyll Pokemon, SolarBeam needing no charge turn, increased Special Attack for Solar Power Pokemon, reduced damage from Water moves)
-Sandstorm: utilizes Tyranitar or Hippowdon's Sandstream ability to wear down non-Rock/Steel/Ground Pokemon. Gives other benefits, like boosting the power of Rock/Ground/Steel moves of Sand Force Pokemon, increasing the Special Defense of Rock Pokemon and boosting the Speed of Sand Rush Pokemon.
-Stall: mostly consists of defensive Pokemon that use things like Toxic, Protect and entry hazards to wear down opponents
-Trick Room: utilizes the Trick Room move to allow slow Pokemon to move first temporarily
-Balanced: a blend of offensive and defensive Pokemon on a team
Oh so its jst ways of using abillities to your advantage and. lol im more balanced

Spoiler:
It might be kind of chaotic in OU as the Sacred Beast Forms + Keldeo (and Meloetta I guess). They all have enhanced atk/special attack and then Keldeo is kind of scary in DW D:

Oh, I was wondering who Starships was, lol. I saw that the PC server isn't really that popular/active :(

(forgot about Knock Off and Synthesis, but w/e)

Anyway, I like the current list, though some moves were a bit unexpected, like Drill Run. I was happy that some of the Gen IV tutor moves came back, like Giga Drain, Drain Punch, Roost, Dark Pulse and Dragon Pulse. This makes Dark Pulse + Earth Power legal on Hydreigon, for instance.

I really hope Haxorus gets Fire Punch. Right now, Ferrothorn gives it a hard time, so Fire Punch could come in handy here.

Yup, I saw that one coming too. And Sleep Talk and Outrage came back as well. Now MoxieMence can sweep with near-impunity, and ResTalk Conekdurr could be potentially good.

Resolution Keldeo's stats are the same as before. :/

Anyway, I like Thundurus' stats. Sure, it lost out on 10 Speed and Prankster, but Volt Absorb makes up for it, and it's still pretty fast.

It's kind of sad to see that Landorus' Speed suffered a bit (probably to keep its massive Attack in check), but it can still use Rock Polish to fix it.

Now for Tornadus: its defenses aren't really the best, but its Speed improved quite a bit, at the cost of 15 points from each of its offenses. I think a support set would be best for this Tornadus because of those stats paired with Regenerator (and possibly Roost).

They've been generous with Tornadus. Roost, Regenerator, balanced stats, thanks to the move tutors, new moves.

edit - wait just looked at the tutor list and saw that there's about 5 moves that Tornadus can actually use, never mind use in competitive battling. Heat Wave, Iron/Aqua Tail and Zen Headbutt (possibly), Roost and Sky Attack.

ALSO GLISCOR GETS SKY UPPERCUT JSYK

Well, now that the tutor compatibilities have been revealed, how about I propose a couple of possible new sets for Serperior? Serperior actually gained a couple of useful moves (Dragon Pulse, Aqua Tail, and possibly Outrage, but I don't think that would see some use):

Physical (similar to the on-site Coil set):
-Coil/Swords Dance
-Leaf Blade
-Aqua Tail
-Dragon Tail/Return/Substitute
Nature: Jolly/Adamant
EVs: 32 HP/252 Atk/224 Spe
Item: Leftovers

Special (if Contrary gets released):
-Leaf Storm
-Hidden Power (Fire)
-Dragon Pulse
-Giga Drain/Substitute
Nature: Timid
EVs: 32 HP/252 SAtk/224 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Contrary

About time, now we have another check to Excadrill so it might hopefully see a retest.

Excadrill still has a small amount of checks, so I doubt it will be retested. Then again, the same could be said about a lot of Pokémon that are currently unbanned (Terrakion, Volcarona, Reuniclus). But it's going to be fun using Breloom without Shadow Tag Chandelure lurking around!

I already expressed my excitement in B2W2 in regards to Techniloom. n_n

Uhh I only really like sun/rain in OU and out of my teams I think I did best with sun. For Ninetales I always go for power so I went for NP. Actually for most things I tend to go for power...

Tornadus-T is actually really good. Well the set I'm running anyways.

Tornadus-T @Life Orb
Timid (+Spe; -Atk)
Regenerator
4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Air Slash
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Heat Wave
- Focus Blast

I was so happy when I heard TechLoom got released.
And Tornadus-T is a beast. Base 121 speed and Regenerator make it such a good hit and run pokemon.
Iv been testing this set

Tornadus-T @Flying Gem
Jolly (+Spe; -Atk)
Regenerator
4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Bulk UP
- Acrobatics

- Superpower
- Substitute/U-Turn

It actually works really well because everyone is expecting the special set. Substitute if to black spore since its so popular due to Amonguss and the release on TechLoom and U-Turn works when you have the stat drops from superpower

In Rain, Hurricane would be the better option. But Heat Wave has to be switched out for U-turn.

Well yeah Hurricane > Air Slash if you're running Rain. Heatwave gives it great coverage against Ferro & Co. though. Focus Blast doesn't OHKO + HW hits Scizor + Forry

Also, just because I wanted to use an Elemental punch on Conkeldurr I replace SE/Payback with Ice Punch. I honestly thought it would flop but amazingly it didn't. I've had people switch in Landorus and the likes thinking I'll switch and I end up OHKO'ing them with Ice Punch. Loses to Volcarona though.
