Please, dont spam. ^^; If you cant help out then there isnt a point in posting in the thread.

Well, I was going to suggest everything said above. Blink 182 and Linkin Park along with other numerous bands all use different types of electric guitars. I'd try a distortion pedal, and a amp although it could be a little expensive. ^^;

What type of Guitar is it? I fully can master Bass Guitar. But as for the Blink 182 and Linkin Park songs, I can't help you. They have different songs, note requirments and all. I would suggest buying a book and starting at the basics.

Take everything step-by-step and don't rush yourself. Playing a guitar is tough. And I should know. Least you can use a pick. I have to use my bare fingers and get cuts on them. >_<

depends on your sound, one is punk and one is nu-metal, but try this

linkin park and blink 182 have very different sounds... it also really depends on what guitar, strings, and amp you're using. though i would recomend buying a pedal, pedals solve lots of problems.
That's why I said Linkin Park OR Blink 182. Learning one of the sounds would be cool. Thanks for the advice, though. And I already have an amp, so I guess I should get the pedal thing...

Least you can use a pick. I have to use my bare fingers and get cuts on them.
Well, actually I've been playing the acoustic for a while and never had that problem, but thanks also.

I actually have Tom DeLonge guitar, but it doesn't help much. You have to observe their other equipments in live videos or somewhere on the net and learn how they use it. Also, if you take guitar lessons, just ask guitar experts.
