I ask because some of the nominated programs are R-Rated, and contain adult themes not suitable for some Teens. Do you think they encourage Teens to engage in the said activities making the show a bad influence or do you think that it's all just entertainment. Discuss.

Why do you think those programs are at the Teen Choice awards? They're Teen Choice for a reason. I don't think the shows are encouraging teens to act as they are, they're just reflecting the mainstream society of the time. Which I guess is R-Rated.

So as a teenager (assuming you are a teenager) you haven't seen any R-rated movies? Come on now. They're put in there for a reason...they know teenagers sneak into R-rated movies (I've done it), rent them (done it), parents allow them to go to one (done it...), etc. lol They're not stupid.

I saw the Shining, a bloody R-Rated horror movie, when I was 8. Come on now.

If the government trusts you to drive, you can see an R rated movie. It's no big deal. They're plenty appropriate.
