Which aspect of the video gaming world is the most interesting to you?

Are you a retro gamer who prefers to play games released years, or even decades, ago?

Do you like to know what the latest best releases are and keep up to date with all the anticipated current releases?

Or maybe you prefer looking at what the future of gaming has in store, and seeing how games are developing for the next generation?

Or maybe it's all three, either way nice if you could give a little explanation/description. :)

Every, single, one! betyoudidn'tseethatcoming

I love my retro games, whether it be the old Game & Watch handhelds, or some crazy NES games, I do love playing them when I don't find anything recent interesting. I normally find that I get most addicted to the retro games, because they are so basic but addictive; let's face it, all they had to draw customers in was their gameplay mechanic.
Then, as regards to the present and future, obviously I am still into this, more than the retro I would say, because I always keep on top of what games are coming out and, obviously, playing games that have already been released.

I think it is good to have a healthy balance, because if you look back at the retro games and see how far the industry has come, it just makes you think what could the future hold!

I'm more past and future. I'm never content with the present.

Past games, anywhere from Super Nintendo to earlier Wii Games, are what I spend most of my time playing. I also love the promise of future games, so I tend to spend a lot of time looking them up then fan-squealing about how awesome it'll be when they come out. Then when they come out I play them a little and leave them until they become past games, when they pique my interest again.

I hope that made sense lol.
