I mean, are the Elite Four, supposed to be weak to each other?
Let's take Unova for example,

- Psychic (Weak to Ghost and Dark)
- Fighting (Weak to Psychic)
- Dark (Weak to Fighting)
- Ghost (Weak to Dark)

I haven't fully checked for other regions, but looking at the types, they also look weak to each other.

Or is this just a logical sense where they are weak to each other so they can train easily?
Don't talk Trubbish just because you sell Timburr if you still talk Trubbish, I swear I will throw Garbodor. Mwhahaha :D

I've actually noticed that, and this trend has been around as early as RBY with Bruno's Type being weak to Agatha's and Lance's being weak to Lorelei's. Honestly, I don't think they made it so that the types are weak to each other, but I think it's mainly so that the Elite Four and their specialty types don't share many common weaknesses, so they're essentially harder to beat. If there were a Rock Elite Four and a Ground Elite Four in one region, a Water or Grass type would rip through both of them, essentially being able to beat half of the region's Elite Four, which wouldn't be much of a challenge.

To be fair, though, the Psychic- and Ghost-type Elite Four in B/W are both weak to Dark, and the Dark- and Psychic- type ones are both weak to Bug.

you forgot to add that Ghost types are weak against Ghost moves. Anyways I never cared to really look at the chain of weaknesses like that but, I found the Elite Four in the Unova region to be very easy because of this chain

Yes, I've noticed that... Maybe it's a coincidence (doubt it though).

In Johto, the gym leaders are effective to each other in some way (excluding Bug against Normal). As for their Elite Four, Will (Psychic) beats Koga (Poison), Koga (Poison) resists Bruno (Fighting), and Bruno (Fighting) beats Karen (Dark).

For Sinnoh, nothing... Kanto, Lorelei (Ice) beats Lance (Dragon) and Agatha (Ghost) is unaffected by Bruno (Fighting)... For Hoenn, Sidney (Dark) beats Phoebe (Ghost)... And Glacia (Ice) beats Drake (Dragon).
