How do you remind yourself to do things you might forget?

Sticky notes? Calendars? Write it on your hand? And so on.

Personally I usually use the calendar option on my phone. I set the event's name to what I need to do. That way, when I see the event icon, I'm like "oh I need to do something" and I'll do it. :) I've also used sticky notes, the margins of my notebooks (when I was younger and didn't have a cell phone), and even used my hand sometimes. I try not to do that though because my parents would've killed me. :p

How about you?

I use the Notes function on my phone (or the Post-it Widget on my Mac). However, I need to often check my phone to see if I've left updates in the first place, so it doesn't always work as much as I'd like it to! Writing on hands is for really important stuff that I can't forget... and I'll always see it, for the most part.

I use my hands or my arm sometimes because I never really have any paper on me at the time, I want to jot notes down.

Text file on my computer or those pieces of scrap paper my parents always keep around to write out their lists and reminders. I hardly ever look at a calendar, whether on a device or hanging on the wall.

There are those times when I want to quickly remember something and I jot it on my hand. But other than that, I guess if it's on the net, a text file, and I sometimes write stuff on my calender in my room.
There was nothing. Followed by everything. Swirling, burning specks of creation that circled life-giving suns. And then we reached to the light.

I usually use the Calender function on my phone. Otherwise, I'll use a sticky note and stick it near my computer monitor so that way I can see it when I need to. Very rarely, will I actually write it on my calender.

I don't use sticky notes, and I don't use calendars. If I'm on the computer, I'll type it up quickly and leave whatever it is I typed it on open. If I have my phone with me, I'll type up a note in Notes, but most of the time it goes on my hand without a second thought. I tend to also ask people to remind me of things from time to time as well.

Kinda depends.

For school related stuff (school events, homework deadlines, etc), I used my "Personal Planner", which is a book given to all of the students on the first day of a new school year.
For events (game releases, tv premieres, etc), I tend to use my laptop's calendar.

I have a bad memory so I carry around notebooks to write things in. Usually I don't go back and see what I wrote because I'm disorganized and have dozens of different notebooks, but the act of writing something down helps me remember.

I usually would try to do it all by memory, which would end up in me forgetting a lot of things and stressfully scramble to do homework if I've forgotten about an assignment. But most of my work I would remember to do. Now I'm starting to use the calender app on my mac to write down things I have to do for when, and it has a little To Do list on the side for which I can jot down things I need to do for no certain due date.

Yeah, I write a lot down. Simply because my memory is completely awful so I need to make lists of things to do and all that. The difficulties start when I forget that I wrote a list in the first place, lol. I'll write them anywhere convenient really; on my laptop, in a notepad, on post-it notes, or mainly yeah on my arms and hands. They always rub off when I have a shower and I go and forget them again then, though. |:

I usually use a piece of paper and place next to something that I look at everyday (like my computer or desk). Since I know what my room looks like normally, placing something that's usually not there draws my eyes to it.

It works, but sometimes I forget to throw the paper away (or simply keep it to save paper), so there's usually a pile of papers strewn across my room or desk which hinders its usefulness. :P

I use a combination of emails, the calendar on my phone/desktop (they sync. ♥ rainlendar), and sticky notes. Occasionally I'll write stuff in a notebook I always keep in my purse or... if I'm really desperate, my arm. XD;

And yet I still manage to forget things.
