Many people spend a lot of time playing Pokémon games, which leads to having a massive playtime, and in other game series, there are sometimes rewards for playing for a certain amount of time, but Pokémon seems to lack this. Do you think that such things could possibly be incorporated into the games in the future? It really seems as if after the main story and post-game story are over in Pokémon games, there isn't much to do other than the occasional side-quest, but if there was a recurring feature that intrigued people enough to bring them back to the game every day, then maybe there could be rewards for playing and there would be a lot of things to do. What are your thoughts on this, would you like more to do in Pokémon games as well as more rewards for playing, maybe even for certain play-times? What do you think that they would be?

well if they were to make an achievement like that, then it would probably the same achievement that you would get if you complete your Pokedex; a certificate saying congrats.

Instead of generic multiple regions idea, I prefer to make the side story more worthwhile. We should expand the background story of each gym leaders and E4. Pokemon really lack in that department, which is waste because many pokemon character are really good in term of design.

Speaking in term of achievement, maybe they should be unlockables. Hopefully really useful unlockables. Like, if you hatch 50 eggs, you will have the ability to hatch egg even faster.

I like the idea of having more of a story. There are characters that people love in Pokémon even though they have little involvement with the main story. If there was more of a backstory to each character or gym leader, it could be more exciting to go through each gym because you get to learn more about each gym leader, which could amount to having a more compelling story in each game.

I'd definitely like the idea of learning more about the various in-game characters, as many of them sound interesting even with the little info we're given on them.

I'm gonna say no to any sort of multi-region idea that requires us to start over with new teams. However, a post-game scenario that has you facing off against some force of evil (either a new threat or a resurrected team) would be interesting.

From more possible to least possible, here are a few suggestions:
  • More flavored flagged text (NPCs tell different things according to which part of the game you're at)
  • More interaction with the various recurring characters (with a different approach, of course)
  • A load of rebattles or new trainers that might pop-up in a previously visited route
  • Level reset option after the game is beaten (you basically keep all your pokemon but their levels are reset, and you can battle everyone again)
That would certainly keep me interested enough to distract me from the only playable quest after beating the game; completing the dex.

I'm not a big fan of multiple regions, though. I like revisiting a familiar place and discovering something new every time, other than just going on and on and on.

I love games with multiple regions, but playing through them is incredibly lackluster. The storyline feels like it's just been slapped on. I would love achievements, though. It would be a great way to keep me motivated, because most of the time, I drift away from the games before I can even assemble a decent competitive team.
