Thread title is the last stage of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!

So! How 'bout them rhythm games? There's Taiko, Donkey Konga, DDR, Osu!, Ouendan, Stepmania, DjManiax, Rhythm Heaven, EBA, ect! Any particular rhythm game that you like? How do you feel about rhythm games? Are they good? Bad? Not your cup of tea? Should there be more? Go go go!

I'm personally a big Osu! fan :P And I love rhythm games. So much fun to play and I start to feel a connection with the song. I want another EBA game to come out :x

Whenever "Jumpin' Jack Flash" comes on the radio, I almost can't help doing the motions from EBA, lmao. That game ruined that song for me for life. /remembers having so much trouble with it on normal, haha

I used to really love DDR but then my mats broke so I sort of gave up on it. :(

Now I like rhythm DS games. My favourite would have to be Elite Beat Agents just for being so ridiculous and so awesome all at once. I played Osu but it just didn't feel the same to me, and I don't know if it's because I can't relate with Ouendans or because all the songs sounded so generic to me. (J-Pop all sounds the same to me and J-Rock is pretty much the same way. ;_;) So I never went on to play the sequels.

I also really like Rhythm Heaven. I played it in Japanese on a whim before it was ever announced here and had so much fun. I perfected a whole bunch of them before finally putting it down. I still get the songs stuck in my head now and again.
