Welcome to my very first RP attempt ever!
In the beginning, there was only Arceus the Creator. Feeling lonely, he then created Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Then he made the world and the pokemon Mew. Then... He disappeared. All of the Mew, as it wasn't a single Mew he made, but a whole civilization, inhabited five major regions. The Forest region, the Ocean and glacier region, the Wasteland region, the Volcano and mountain region, and the supernatural region.
And all was peaceful. The Mew started to change, and evolve into modern pokemon as the eons went by. The world was changing, and they were changing to reflect it. The three god pokemon were witnesses to the world spiraling out of their control, and they needed to get it back. So, they created a spring in the middle of the four regions. A spring that had the power to create legendary pokemon from normal pokemon. And that is how Lugia and Ho-oh were created. They were changed from ordinary pokemon into legends. As time went by, the three god pokemon added more and more legends, until there were all the legends there are now. For a time, there was peace.
Until the wars started. One day, a young and power hungry Sandslash rallied up the pokemon from the Mountain region and attacked their neighbors in the Wastelands. This sparked a conflict across the world. The five tribes fought endlessly. The Legendaries were powerless to stop them. So, they appealed to their creaters, who locked themselves and the spring up in a great tower, fearing what would happen if that power fell into the wrong hands. The Mountain tribe led by Sandslash completely wiped out the Wasteland clans. Frustrated, and with no other option, the legendaries appealed to Arceus.
Arceus came back and choose many members from each remaining civilization, and wiped out the rest. He let the chosen ones rebuild the four remaining tribes. The lost tribe, the members of it that escaped Sandslash's genocide, wandered around, lost. Once Arceus was satisified, he left again. Thousands of years passed, with a few minor wars, but nothing on that scale of destruction. But now, war threatens again. The legendary pokemon have disappeared. The tower of the gods has been opened, it's power there for the taking. The four clans are turning on each other again
The Tribes:
The Forest Tribe:
The foreat Tribe is known for their fiercely loyal ways. While they may not be united on the inside, anytime a threat has come against the tribe, they instantly act as one to destroy it. While they are not renowned for their intelligence, they are fiercely loyal to those they consider allies.
Elder Prime Braxis (Sceptile): Braxis rules his Tribe with an iron fist. He is a harsh and stubborn man, and is unwilling to compromise. While past his prime, he is a deadly warrior, with a deep hatred of the Sea Tribe, who killed his wife in a skirmish many years ago.
Elder Rala (Pikachu): Rala is one of the younger elders, and one of the most respected. She is one of the only people that can go up against Braxis and get him to see reason. She is a free spirited person, though she always has the best interests of the Tribe at heart.
Elder Bornis (Grovyle):Bornis is the oldest son of Braxis, and could not be anymore different than his father. Bornis poccesses a gentle nature, and calm judgement. He is the poster child of the Forest Tribe, with his kind heart and friendly attitude. He is also a strong warrior, and has led the Tribe's defenders in his father's stead for the past three years. He died in battle with Elder Monart and Rene the Flareon.
Elder Korienth (Swellow): Korienth is the second oldest member of the council. Well past his flying days, Korienth mainly spends his time in the Elder Council Room, offering advice to those that ask for it. He is reserved, and slow to speak, usually hearing what everyone else has to say before casting his own vote.
Elder Simone (Beutifly): Simone is obcessed with power, and she wants more of it. Her plotting and schemes often bring conflict to the other Elders, where she then steps in to resolve it herself, making herself look better in the proccess. She holds a deep resentment for Bornis, feeling he stole her spotlight when Braxis named him as the next Elder Prime.
Whisper (Rattata): Whisper is a young Rattata, who has traveled the lands. She brought back word to the Elders that the Tower of the Gods has been opened, though she was too firghtened to set foot inside.
Zackla (Emolga): Zackla is a treasure hunter, searching the oldest parts of the forest for relics. On the few days he returns to the rest of the Tribe he offers to trade what he finds.
Tolsa (Servine): Tolsa is the second in command of the Forest Guardians, after Bornis. He poccesses a sharp tongue, but he would give his life for the Tribe, and for Bornis. He dotes on his son a great deal, and would trade anything to keep him safe.
Talmire (Snivy): Talmire is a young Snivy, and is the son of Tolsa. His open and trusting manner is a result of his sheltered life with his father. However, despite his youth, he has some skill in combat, though he is not very experienced. He is very naive and is not easily frightened.
The Mountain Tribe:
These fierce warriors have garnered a bad reputation for starting wars. Unfortunately, it is true. The Tribe has to fight others, or they will devolve into chaos. They are also the ones that push back the strange sreatures that have appeared in the Wastelands to the North.
Matron Gres (Magmorter): Gres is an old and faded woman, who does not have the strength to control her Tribe. However, she is as stubborn as Braxis, clinging to life just to spite her adversaries. When she makes a descision, it is instantly obeyed, though she does not do that much anymore
Elder Getis (Marowak): Getis is the main spokesman for the Tribe, and is often seen at Gres's side. He is a fierce warrior, and he knows it. He does not hesitate to intimidate his would be adversaries. He is one of the few that is still loyal to Gres.
Elder Domhawk (Machoke): Domhawk is trying to seize power from Matron Gres, however, out of respect for the old warrior, he is waiting until she dies before following through. He is very vocal about his disagreements for all of her policies, just because she made them.
Elder Nack (Arbok): Nack is a sly and crafty snake. He supports Domhawk in his pursuit of leadership, yet he has his own agenda. His methods are questionable, but he really does have the best interests of the Tribe in his heart. He is not above assassination and other dirty methods to remove his obsticles.
Elder Gromis (Aggron): Gromis is an outsider, recently brought in to replace Elder Takamay, who mysteriously disappeared. Not much is known about him, other than his gruff and tciturn manner. Rumors are flying that he is a follower of Nack, which he neither confirms nor denies.
Rene (Flareon): Rene is a fierce warrior, one of the best. He would have been an Elder a long time ago, though he refused, saying that he didn't want to get drawn into that drivle. He is quiet and soft spoken, quietly going about his work. He is a fierce defender of Gres, believing the old Magmorter is right.
Blok (Onix): Blok, despite his appearence, is a trader by nature. The Onix is always digging up useful little trinkets and whatnot, and will part with them if you have something useful to trade him.
Fryed (Rhyperior): Fryed is the self proclaimed strongest man in the mountains. While that is debatible, he is amasingly powerful. Nack has recently put him in charge of the warriors in place of Rene, a fact which has caused some strife. Hot headed and arrogant, he is not very suited for a role of leadership, a fact he is aware of. He often delegates his authority to the other ranking warriors, such as Rene.
The Sea Tribe:
These gentle folk do not like wars. And being surrounded by the ocean, they are easily able to avoid them as well. They are not often provoked into combat, but when they are, they strike fast and disappear into the sea again.
Elder Prime Cosa (Dragonite): Cosa is the oldest being in living memory. He is very wise, and seeks to prevent a war between the land dwellers. He is somewhat slow to make desicions, and even slower to vocalise them.
Elder Maiya (Lapras): Maiya believes that the Sea Tribe has been isolated for far too long. She often visits the beaches of the mainland, where she learns about the people there and tells tales about them. She is a very valuable source of information about the outside world for Cosa.
Elder Kimi (Weavile): Kimi is silent. His throat was damged in a fight many years ago. As such, it is difficult to tell where he stands. In truth, he doesn't care much. His main concern is defending his people from harm.
Elder Zol (Gyarados): Zol is very emotional and ill tempered. His head is so far up his rear that he loses touch with the true issues most of the time. In truth, Cosa only put him as an Elder so that hewould not lose sight of his heart, for Zol's rash and impulsive manner reminds him that he is still a member of the world and not a statue.
Brink (Froslass): Brink is a very mysterious person. She delights in making things harder than they have to be. As a seeress, she is valued to the Tribe, though her visions of late have been turning darker and darker, warning of death from the north.
Itchin (Carvanha): Itchin dives and brings up treasures from the deep. He offers them to people that bring him things to trade.
Gasper (Salamence): Gasper is almost as old as Cosa, and the two have a deep blood fued that has persisted since days long forgotten. While they both care deeply for the Tribe and often agree on how things should be done, Gasper would much like to challenge Cosa and finish things, though he knows he is not strong enough to beat the Elder Prime.
The Supernatural Tribe:
Find one of the seven portals, and you will have found the entrance to the land the Supernatural Tribe calls home. Reclusive and xenophobic, they will ont address and outsider in their midst unless he or she has proven themselves wirthy.
Master Elder Zeck (Gengar): Zeck is a wiley pokemon. He dreams of ruling the world in it's entirety, not just the dimension he calls home. His schemes run deep, and he carries them out without mercy. He is playing the Mountain and Forest Tribes against each other without them knowing it.
Elder Monart (Gallade): Monart is the second in command, and he is heartless. He is currently away, acting as an emmisary to the Forest Tribe. He is a deadly fighter, with psychic powers that are unrivaled at the moment.
Elder Fin (Spiritomb): Fin is an aging Spiritomb. He is fanatically devoted to Zeck, to the point of obcession. He is currently away, serving as an emmisary to the Mountain Tribe.
Elder Mirin (Alakazam): Mirin is one of the older elders, and she opposes Zeck, but not openly. She wants to bring to Tribe out of seclusion, and has quite a large following among the people. She is calm and soft spoken, never revealing more than she has too.
Elder Catlana (Lucario): Catlana is the only Elder in living memory that did not come from the Supernatural Tribe. Many years ago, she saved Zeck from danger, but was stranded in the Supernatural Region. Out of ressect, Zeck named her as the fifth elder. She disagrees with his policies, but is afraid to go against him. She feels she owes him her life.
Canko (Zoroark): Canko gurads the portals to the real world. He does not allow anyone in or out, on Zeck's orders. But he is quite friendly and will be happy to speak for hours on end.
Zebless (Lunatone): The Supernatural realm is full of mysterious treasures, which Zebless collects with passion. Bring him something, and he may be willing to part with them.
You:
You are a member of the four tribes, or a descendent from the lost fifth tribe living in one of those other four tribes. The elders have chosen you to attempt to put an end to the conflict and bring honor to the tribe. This can be doen in many different ways. It's all up to you to decide the best way to go about this.
Places:
The Tower of the Gods:
This tower is home to Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. At the top of it is the Spring of Legends. All throughout the tower reside the Unown, sacred guardians that will attack anyone that does not belong there. The twoer is situated in the very middle of the world, surrounded by sprawling green plains. The top of the tower is so high in the air that no creature can fly to the top.
The Forest Region to the East:
The Sea and Glacier Region:
This large and dominating oceanic region is home to the Sea tribe. A large island of ice lays surrounded by the sea, home to the the dragons and ice tribes, the other half of the Sea tribes.
The Mountain Region:
The craggy peaks can be seen from the base of the Tower of the Gods, if you look to the west. This region is a vast and arid climate, with large imposing moutains and ever erupting volcanoes that the Mountain Tribe calls home. Most Mountains have a vast system of caves inside them.
The Supernatural Region:
There are several portals around the world to get into this twisted and warped dimension. Here, gravity is altered and even nonexistant in some places, where impressive spires are the norm around here. But danger also lurks in this world. For the mysterious Supernatural Tribe resides in this dimension, and only they know how to leave.
The Wastelands:
To the North lie the wastelands. For many long years they have been abandoned. However, a strange tower can be seen looming on the horizon, one as tall as the Tower of the Gods, and just as unreachable. Rumors say that those that enter the Wastelands are never the same when they exit, if they ever exit at all. Rumors of strange creatures that roam the land have been suffecient to keep most people away.

4. Please keep all romance and violence to an acceptable level. That's what the rating is there for, so follow it.
5. Please keep the swearing light. Don't be dropping the F-bomb every other sentence.
6. Please keep your posts at a four line minimum, and remember that too many short posts will be grounds for me kicking you from the RP.
7. Try to keep OOC posts to the OOC thread, or have them properly marked at the top of your post. And if you do that, remember to have some IC in your post too.
Thanks for joining up! Please put all SUs where they belong in the OOC/SU thread. I hope you enjoy this. :D
