Black and White have introduced Dream World abilities, which are basically either a second, or third ability for some Pokemon. Many of these have made the Dream World Pokemon popular, because the abilities either make the Pokemon useful early in-game, or are able to change the competitive battling scene, or people just want them in general because they're rare.

Either way, Dream World abilities are much loved and totally deserve a discussion! So I ask you...

1. Which is the most useful Dream World ability and why? (any generation)

2. Which is the most useless Dream World ability and why? (any generation)

3. Do you use the Dream World specifically for the special Dream World ability Pokemon or just to collect Pokemon you can't get in-game?

4. Would you like to see the Unova Pokemon released in English with all their Dream World abilities sometime soon? If so, which ones?

5. How do you feel about Dream World abilities only being passed down from females?

From the ones I know, I think Drizzle for Politoad is the most useful, and the ability Regenerator, since it just gives you a guarantee heal, and Effect Spore is also nice I guess. And Poison Heal.

2. Which is the most useless Dream World ability? (any generation)
Hmpf I cba to look them up, but Run Away seems pretty useless imo, except for in game.

3. Do you use the Dream World specifically for the special Dream World ability Pokemon or just to collect Pokemon you haven't got in-game?
At first I did it to collect Pokémon and because I liked it but then it got bothersome, and I actually only used it to get DW ability Pokémon.

4. Would you like to see the Unova Pokemon released in English with all their Dream World abilities sometime soon? If so, which ones?
It would be nice to get ST Chandelure lool.

5. How do you feel about Dream World abilities only being passed down from females?
I think it makes things more complicated. I understand because otherwise it'd be too easy to get them, but it's just confusing because that'd be another factor to keep in mind when you're breeding, but other than that I think it's fair.

1. Which is the most useful Dream World ability? (any generation): Magic Bounce (it's a permanent Magic Coat that only works on the user, what more could you want?); Drizzle; Drought (both just made Politoed and Ninetales more useful); Regenerator (it makes Slowbro and Tangrowth harder to kill)
2. Which is the most useless Dream World ability? (any generation): Insomnia on Delibird. It already has Vital Spirit. Soundproof is alright, but not too useful. Skarmory and Mandibuzz like their high Defense, so Weak Armor isn't too useful on them.
3. Do you use the Dream World specifically for the special Dream World ability Pokemon or just to collect Pokemon you haven't got in-game?: I haven't gone to the Dream World yet, but I got a Dream World Eevee from Shiny Celebi.
4. Would you like to see the Unova Pokemon released in English with all their Dream World abilities sometime soon? If so, which ones?: The Snivy line with Contrary. They're mediocre as of now.
5. How do you feel about Dream World abilities only being passed down from females?: It's annoying, and I wish that males could pass down their Dream abilities as well.

The most useful dream world abilities are definitely Drizzle, Drought and Magic Bounce. They have turned rather weak and/or never used Pokemon into Pokemon that you can expect to see in battle. Who ever's idea it was to give Delibird Insomnia should be shot, I mean who does that to a Pokemon with Vital Spirit. Obviously Game Freak doesn't like Delibird. And giving Durant Traunt, that was just mean. I use it do get the special abilities. I already had the Pokedex completed before it was released. Yes, they're just being mean keeping my Shadow Tag Chandelure from me. It's kind of annoying, I get it though, otherwise we could have most of the Pokedex from just Darmanitan and Musharna.
