Welcome to my Life by Simple Plan.
This was probably the first song I liked that wasn't like Britney spears or from pokemon. (besides country, but not sure if i liked it back then like the rest of my family) and I always listen to it when im down, sometimes just put it on repeat for a few hours. This is my song.

I didnt even know how to embed a video... I got lucky! :D

And here's me thinking I was being different...

I wouldn't say I'd have a specific theme song, more a leitmotif. Probably a slightly faster and more upbeat variation of Ventus's Theme from Kingdom Hearts, not unlike how it's presented here:

Oh I dunno. I think the main theme for me would be upbeat and showtune-esque, with variations using more melancholy & triumphant overtones.

I'm thinking of something similar to I Am What I Am or Anything Goes for a basis & just kinda going on from there. Theme music totes depends on context though so yeah.

Every time I hear about people having a 'theme' it takes me back to the late 90s when I was watching Ally McBeal (as all the manliest men do) and her therapist told her to get a theme song. She was standing at some traffic lights waiting to cross the road and started dancing to Tell Him, and then everybody else that was standing there with her got caught up in the infectious tune (which only she could hear) and started dancing with her. I don't know why I felt the need to tell everybody that, but I just love that show so much lol. I wanted to link the clip because it's so awesome but it's not on YouTube :(

As for my theme song, my answer is the same as my answer to the 'Favourite un-song' thread. It isn't the words that make a theme song for me, it's the tune. This song is just so uplifting it does more for me than any therapist ever could.
