The only thing I would change about Valora's is the facial expression, although it is sleepy, I think that if you have closed eyes a mouth expression would off-set the lack of expression in the eyes. But, the body, head shape, are great. The bubble body is amazing, especially the shading of the bubble that sits on top of the head gives a great illusion of translucency. The water pokemon has a very good calmness to it! I would love using this pokemon.

Truality's is also nice, but it is not as clean, and the concept is not quite as strong. I do like the bold yellow eye that gives it a fiesty personality. If fixed up a bit this could be a really cool pokemon.

With all that being said, Valora has my vote; good job both of you!

Love the theme btw Logie!

This was tough but I had to vote for the bubble sheep.. I just really loved the concept and I thought it was executed well. It was crazy close though.. the fire concept is really awesome, too and the design is very lovely, but I liked the simplicity of the thought of bubble-wool and how it was realized in the sprite.

Great job, both of you!

Poll has been extended to October 8th. Go vote!
Lol I don't see the reason, we already know who the winner is. You deserve it after all, valora17.

What smoothness! A perfect simulation of bubble skin in pixel form! As previously stated, the only downside is the eye, but that amazing simplicity and pose is miles away from my sprite.

You win!
This is my December . . .

The bubbles on Valora17's are very bubbly with a nice, soft looking texture. The pose isn't as good as Truality's, but you did make yours look a little like it's sleeping which is a fun little nod to the counting sheep idea and that's enough for my vote.

Thanks everyone >< I tried to stay out of this thread as much as possible and just read through all the posts. Thanks for the comments and critique, I will probably go through and fix it if I ever design an evolution for it; otherwise I'll allow others to edit it if you like.

Anyway, thank you and good job Truality on your's as well :) I really liked it, I really did like your sprite but would've liked to see more of the fire-type in its design aside from its head.
