I agree with you, ScarletCross, that the Eighth gym had quite an interesting and fun dragon-centred design. However, in my heart, Skyla's gym will always take the cake.

2) Why?
Because being shot out of a cannon is simply the most awesome thing.

Lets be honest who dosent love roller coasters. Elesas gym has an awesome them and so prettyifull. But if I had to choose a gym to visit in real I would go there just to ride the roler coasters. Plus the battle is pretty easy as well, as long as you have a ground type.

Nimbasa City Gym.

2) Why?
I thought the whole theme park themed gym was pretty neat. I love roller coasters so that was a plus.

By appearance: Elesa's and Drayden's
I did like Elesa's roller coaster. I liked the colors and everything there. I liked Drayden's dragon design the thing is if I needed to heal I couldn't get my way back to the Pokemon Center. Had to do the whole puzzle before I can do anything.

By Battle or w/e:
SKYLA!!! Skyla is epic. I love the cannons, appearance, everything about Skyla. Skyla's my best <3

1) What is your favourite gym in Unova?
I really like the concept of the Striaton Gym, but I think Skyla was my favourite battle, making Mistralton City Gym my favourite.
2) Why?
I'm not really sure, I remember finding the puzzle quite fun and the battles challenging but not too stressful.
Still young but no longer impressionable.

Battle-wise: Clay (Driftveil Gym) cos he was just too easy to defeat. My Dewott (now a Samurott) completely swept his team + also Skyla (Mistralton Gym), she was easy peasy cos my Zebstrika swept her team.

Design-wise: Elesa (Nimbasa Gym) for the colorful lights and that rollercoaster, I like Drayden/Iris (Opelucid Gym) too for the cool dragon design!

For best-designed Gym, it's a toss-up between Skyla's & Elesa's Gyms, as they goth get the adrenaline pumping with their air cannons/roller coasters.

The one that's most challenging, that would be Iris'/Drayden's Gym, as for the average trainer, there hardly is any type that can cover this, & the Ice-Types around this part aren't something that I would use, so this gym pretty much boils down to who's Pokémon can hit the hardest, yours or theirs.

I agree with you, Drayden's Druddigon was annoying with Rough Skin and his Haxorus hits hard.

At least White players have an easier time with Iris' Druddigon due to it having Sheer Force and not Rough Skin.

I loved Skyla's gym I went through there battling all the trainers except Skyla then exited the gym so I could go through the cannons one more time XD

Battle Wise I enjoyed Elesa's the most. It was an epic battle, I didn't think that Drayden was that tough to tell you the truth

Design-wise the Nacrene City gym is my favorite. I would love to have a hidden stadium underneath an awesome museum. The 3-4 Best Wishes episodes about that gym were my favorite, too. :3

The 8th gym for me, just because it had the most 'challenging' gym puzzle. Most of the others I had found rather simple...

For instance, the first gym is laughably easy - sure it's a kids game and probably aimed at newer players, but even then... It's times like that I prefer the gyms with not puzzle at all (like Johto's first one). 2nd was all right in the question thing, but given the lack of a real 'punishment' for getting an answer wrong (you still had to battle everyone in the room!) it seemed a bit off. Various others became more entertaining in design (for instance, Elsa's - rollercoasters! - and Skyla's was amusing in design too imo) but still felt too linear to me. For instance I would have liked the ice gym's design a lot because I'm a sucker for ice puzzles... but it was too darn obvious given they had arrows showing you where to step. =| Which is rather unlike the other two ice gym puzzles (Pryce's (both GSC and HGSS) and Candice's) in which no obvious hints were given for where you should go to proceed.

I would say the 8th Gym too, just for its looking and its maze. Badass! :)

I like all the gyms, I shall analyse the best and worst parts!

The first gym was confusing - it never explained the purpose of the curtains which would confuse young children! and me. But I figured it out eventually. :3 Second gym was really annoying to get through but was easy once I went through there for the first time. The third was amazing, but confusing to figure out that you had to push the walls (notice the theme? BLACK AND WHITE ARE CONFUSING!) Uhhh, fourth was really awesome, tbh, and had a really awesome design too. Fifth was really annoying, but I really liked how you went down really low underground. Sixth was annoying but crashing into the wall was fun! Seventh was by far the most fun in terms of what you could do. It was also surprisingly the least confusing, although as a kid I always had issues with the ice puzzles in-game lool. The last one was amazing in terms of design but so freaking annoying to go through - you had to face everyone! :( And with a lack of easy backtracking, uggh.

Black and White definitely had some interesting gyms though.
