What are the 6 Pokemons you used when you first battled Cynthia at Undella Town?

*Most probably some of you already finished Pokemon B/W. In my case, I've already finished Pokemon Black Version and is just starting Pokemon White Version.

So, as a Pokemon Fanatic, I want to know the 6 Pokemons that you used during your first battle with Cynthia. To be honest, Cynthia was really tough. Even though my Pokemons were high-leveled, if I use the wrong Pokemon, I'm dead! Anyway, to start of, these are the Pokemons that I used during my first battle with her:

Snivy the Serperior
LV. 80

Yup. I chose Snivy as my starting Pokemon in the Black version. I used him in order to defeat Cynthia's Milotic and Eelektross. One time, I used a weak move unconciously and Milotic was left with 1 HP so she fainted Snivy with her Blizzard attack! As for Eelektross, I didn't even know that Eelektross has a Flamethrower move and it one-hit kill Snivy. Well, that's expect the unexpected.

Reshiram the Black version Legendary Pokemon
LV. 75

I used this Pokemon in order to defeat Cynthia'a Lucario since her Pokemon is weak against Fire.

Prince the Golduck
LV. 73

Prince was used in battle in order to defeat Garchomp but he died with that Pokemon many times so I just switched him with Snivy instead. Garchomp is like one of the powerful Pokemons that I have ever seen and experienced. All its stats are like so amazing that even if it defeats a higher-leveled Pokemon, it will not die so easily. It's based from my experience since I have a Garchomp with me in Pokemon Diamond Version. But, the point here is, I want to use Prince to defeat Garchomp but alas! It was too strong for him to handle.

Pigeon the Unfezant (Female)
LV. 73

I brought her because of her Fly move and to level her up a bit but she has no use in Cynthia's battle since almost all of Cynthia's Pokemons possess supereffective moves that can one-hit kill Pigeon. So, practically, she's just in my party.

Kyurem the B/W Version Legendary Pokemon
LV. 78

I used Kyurem to defeat Spiritomb and Braviary. Spiritomb was quite easy but Braviary is not. Somehow, Kyurem is slower than Braviary so whenever Kyurem is going to attack the said Pokemon, Braviary will attack first using Brave Bird and wow! Kyurem almost received half the damage! Now, that's a strong attack! Its a good thing that Kyurem survived when it is about to attack Braviary. I also used Kyurem to replace Snivy in battling Eelektross.

Cavalry the Cobalion
LV. 75

I brought Cavalry with me because I knew from the start that she has Garchomp with her. When she is about to use Garchomp as her next Pokemon, I paused for a moment and thought for Garchomp's type. I knew it was a Dragon-type but that's all I could remember. So, I sent Cavalry out. I thought I was about to one-hit kill Garchomp but it left at least 1/4 of its HP and oblitirated Cavalry with Earthquake and it was supereffective! And that's where I remembered that Garchomp is not just a Dragon-type Pokemon but a Ground-type, too! Argh! So, I just used Snivy as a replacement for Cavalry although I know Snivy somehow barely survived in Garchomp's attacks.

*And that's about it! What about you? How did you defeat Cynthia? :D
TIP: After the battle, I always come back to battle Cynthia again during Spring and Summer to level up my Pokemons. Hehe. You should do that, too. ^_^

Also, How difficult is Cynthia to you people? You should at least specify it so that everyone can relate. Is she easy, average or hard? After listing the Pokemon you used, write down at least how difficult she was when you battled her. You can also put your feelings if you feel satisfied or something went wrong even though you were victorious.

As for my feelings after the battle, well, I was kinda disappointed with myself because there are some Pokemons that I can't use properly to Cynthia because they faint easily such as Prince (Golduck) and Pigeon (Female Unfezant). Even though I wanted to use them so badly, Cynthia's Pokemons are just too tough! >.<
No matter what happens, I'll protect everyone with all I've got.

I used these Pokemon:
-Samurott
-Scolipede
-Archeops
-Excadrill
-Haxorus
-Reshiram

I'll try to remember how I won the battle against Cynthia:

Scolipede vs. Spiritomb: A couple hits from Megahorn did Spiritomb in.

Reshiram vs. Milotic: I used Reshiram for its special bulk, but I guess Milotic did more damage than I thought. I think I KOed Milotic when Dragon Pulse critted.

Excadrill vs. Lucario: easy. Excadrill outsped Lucario and OHKOed with Earthquake

Archeops vs. Braviary: Archeops 2HKOed Braviary with Rock Side; luckily, Braviary flinched after the first hit.

Haxorus vs. Eelektross: I used Haxorus' Mold Breaker to bypass Eelektross' Levitate and hit it hard with Earthquake. Unfortunately, the lamphrey survived and brought Haxorus down to the red with Dragon Claw. Haxorus managed to bring Eelektross down with Earthquake again.

Samurott vs. Garchomp: Samurott survived an Earthquake and KOed back with Blizzard.

Reshiram VS. Milotic? Well, you don have point using Reshiram there. Its a good thing that Cynthia commanded Milotic not to use Dragon Tail because I think Reshiram 's going down if that happens. Well, it depends, though. What level is your Reshiram, anyway?

My serperior, level... early eighties? late seventies? Over seventy five, under eighty five
My TEAM at the time, and always, was/is serperior, pendoraa, carracosta, chandelure, mienshao and ononokusu, but...
my serperior, and him alone, took out Cynthia's team. And Morimoto's.

Seienryu the Serperior
Lv. 75-80? 83?
Leaf Blade
Giga drain
Coil
Growth

Stat up turns 1-6 [growth/coil], a bit more stat up (2? 3? turns) (she seriously just spent the time double teaming. Against a pokemon that was raising accuracy every turn)
Get hit by sucker punch
Sweep half Cynthia's team off board
Face Braviary, only just fail to faint it, then facepalm/laugh as she kills it with brave bird [Seien retains 2/3-3/4 of total HP (inc. damage from sucker punch)]
Sweep remainder of team

And now you know what I do when I get bored~

While this is a nice idea, it probably would've been better off in the first post rather than mid-thread, so if you'd like, you can edit that extra information in :)

I honestly don't remember what I used, other than Audino, Boldore, Scrafty and Herdier. It was an unusual team but somehow it beat her. The biggest issue I remember was definitely that Sky Drop (iirc) Braviary, so annoying. :x I do remember I equipped a rocky helmet just for that purpose, lol. As far as anything going wrong, I honestly think I just got lucky, really. It was a struggle, though. Probably the hardest battle in-game so far other than Marshal on Black, idk about White though, lol. Either way I was then inspired to take on Morimoto (idk the name, something like that) and won against him! Sooo yeah.

I haven't challenged Morimoto yet. I'm kinda afraid that he may be so strong that I couldn't beat him anymore. Cynthia was already tough for me; what more for Morimoto? Haha. Speaking of him, I almost forgot about him. Where can I find him again? Somewhere in Castelia City, right?

And thanks for the tip! I'll add the info now. :)

On the 22nd floor in the first building you see to the right you'll find Morimoto - but yes, in Castelia. Either way, personally, Cynthia is a lot harder than Morimoto so you should be able to take him, just use your strategies you used with Cynthia. This is starting to get off the topic of Cynthia, though, so let's go back to just discussing Cynthia and asking any further questions in Quick Questions.

Serperior
Darmanitan
Sigilyph
Simipour
Eelektross

I found Cynthia to be really hard. Granted, I was pretty low levelled, but still, she kicked my ass at least 3 times.

Oh, and jkls39, if you've already beaten Cynthia, then Morimoto should be a pushover. His levels are about the same as Cynthia's, but he doesn't have real powerhouses like Cynthia does. He mainly uses early-game stuff like the monkeys and Liepard.

Edit: Ninja'd.

Yeah. I noticed that, too. Anyway, back to Cynthia! I'm really jealous that Cynthia still got her Garchomp with her. I mean, for a LV 78 (I think that's the level of her Garchomp...), it still can beat the hell out of me. I battled her over and over again and I still can't take a one-hit blow when it comes to Garchomp. Really a tough Pokemon if you ask me. >.<

What exactly is your level when you beat Cynthia? She's really really tough if you're not going to level up your Pokemons. I also experienced that somehow.

And, about Morimoto, Forever told me about him and I'll just see to it if he's really not that tough unlike Cynthia. :)

Using six Pokemon is so mainstream. ;P

I used four, just because I felt like a little bit of a challenge. Of course, you have to take into consideration that the Pokemon I used were in their late ninties and they had all been imported from Pokemon Platinum. It happened to be my Hailstorm team which I've really been enjoying using lately, and they didn't have too much touble with young miss Cynthia. They beat her the first time around in Sinnoh, and have done so once again in Unova.

- Abomasnow
- Walrein
- Mamoswine
- Froslass

Those four have gotten me through a few scrapes in Platinum, along with the rest of the hail team, and I felt that they might as well have one last hoorah in the main storyline before being used soley for multiplayer combat.

The first time I battled Cynthia, she wasn't too hard because I knew a few pokes to expect back in her line aka Spiritomb and Garchomp so this what I brought. Oh and by the way you can transfer pokemon at this point because you are able to go left of nimbasa to the transfer lab. Even though I used some transfer pokes they weren't lvl 100 to wip the floor lol.

Arcanine: my fav poke, turned out to be a big help this time around, full physical set on him and the choice band he was ready to go :D

Eelektross: I donj't know what to say. My favorite 5th gen poke, he's so bulky! and really great as a SpA attaker. Thank you gamefreak for this wonderful poke :D

Mamoswine: is easily going to wipe the floor with Garchomp xD

Vaporeon: Now with Scald! My wish passer incase I needed it, really didn't though as I expected.

Excadrill: Oh yeah another beast poke really not much to say because after one SD hes even better.

Leafeon: Didn't really use it that much! :/

Basically it was quite easy these pokes were all in their 70's as well. When I didn't play competitive pokemon battling back when I started up again in Platinum and the early part of HGSS, when I battled Cynthia I had a HUGE issue even when I had Empoleon with its many resistances. Plush given the fact I didn't know what EVs were or anything of that sort.

Seeing as I doubt it will be noticed if I put it in my prior post...
I didn't find Cynthia all that hard. Any individual member of my team typically has enough strength to wipe out about least half her team (though for some unfathomable reason strange things go on when it's x6DDOnonokusu fighting compared to my NormalMeinshao fighting) with relative ease [level 85~]

Morimoto was... slightly more difficult than Cynthia, if only because he acutally used the first several turns to ATTACK rather than use double team.

Nonetheless, you can't help but be proud of a team-member when they manage such things as beating champions singlehanded

And now you know what I do when I get bored~

My "Let's Beat Cynthia" team was made up of: Kingdra, Krookodile, Chandelure, Lucario, Eelektross and Aerodactyl.

After defeating the Elite Four for the first time, I pretty much established a completely new team. I'd missed out on Sandile in favour of getting a Scraggy (not the best decision, unfortunately), Litwick didn't appeal as much until I'd gotten mauled by the Shauntal's Chandelure, and Eelektross' speed was its main barrier to me getting it first-time round, but what a moveset! Kingdra took a while to find, and heck of a lot of Repels around Route 17, while Lucario and Aerodactyl were surprisingly easy.

Fighting Cynthia for the first time was surprisingly hard. I never played D/P/Pt, so had never faced her (or her Garchomp) before, so it was probably one of the harder battles of the game. Indeed, I kept being on the verge of defeat so many times, I had to keep turning the game off and on again... eventually, after I believe the fifth battle, I finally won. 'Twas a good feeling!

It helps when three of the four Pokemon are over twenty levels higher than Cynthia's. :P

I'm just lucky she didn't have any fire-type moves.

The Pokemon I used to battle Cynthia were:

Typhlosion
Torterra
Samurott
Scolipede
Klinklang
Reshiram
So, what was the feeling after you defeated Cynthia? Was she hard or just "okay"? You should have indicated it since it is part of this thread. :)

I used:
Samurott on 87lvl (and that was pretty enough to put her down)
Chandelure 7x
Hydreigon 7x
Dragonite 76
Haxorus 5x
Archeops 6x

Can you clarify more of the levels of your Pokemons? And please indicate the feeling after you have defeated her. :)

I used my in-game team to defeat Cynthia. I swept her 6-0 because I sent out my Lilligant first and got 6 Quiver Dances while she had Spiritomb out. None of her Pokemon stood a chance after that. She was easy because she just used Double Team, allowing me to set up on her.
