Hey guys remember me? I'm the webmaster of Pokemon Fan Universe and I wrote Pokemon Fan Universe's Pokedex. For 2005, I've releasing a public beta of version 2.0 to the public as a New Year's Day present:

http://www.pokemonfanuniverse.com/pokedex/pokedex.php

I recommend Internet Explorer users view it in Mozilla Firefox rather than Internet Explorer because of some standards compliance issues IE has. I hope you enjoy it and feel free to send feedback.

Oh and by the way, Happy New Year!

I've always loved PFU anyway, so it's great to see that the site keeps getting better. ^_^
And you're right, it does really mess up when you use IE. O.o *wishes I was on comp with Firefox*
Happy New Year, SA!

It looks nice. Better than some Pokedexes out there. =)

Though... technically, this thread is against the rules. >P
No "What do you think of my *insert section* section?" threads. Advertise your whole site, not just part of it.

I've done it before. Unless the rules have changed considerably since I left I'm allowed to have this thread.

It is nice to know some people still remember me around here. It has been a long time. Anyway, I've been away for lack of time and due to stress induced from people telling me how to moderate (why I resigned).

By the way, does anyone have any usability comments to make?

E.g. Features x, y and z are great and make the pokedex easier to use; please keep them. Features a, b and c are annoying and make the pokedex harder to use; doing it d way would be better.

AZSupraT, owner of Victory Road, added some rules like no more asking for staff threads and no "What do you think of my *insert section* section?" threads adn no more selling stuff. They were a huge probelm when they were made. That's all the new rules since you left. So I don't know. I'll let the admins decide this.

Well, it's fast and usable, which is what counts. I've never been a big fan of that tiled background though.

Thanks for the kind comments. My primary aim with the pokedex's templates were to make it easier to use. With that in mind, does anyone have any usability feedback for me such as "you did this right" or "you could have done this better by doing this" for me?

The data in the Pokdex is organised nicely, but I'd also include the Emerald move tutor moves.

Other things that would be nice:
> base experience gain by defeating
> names in other languages (especially Japanese are nice)

The Pokdex has very few flaws. The only organisational problem is the space the info takes up, but you can't change that unless you remove some info, which isn't really an option. Overall, it's a great Pokdex.
