call them guilty pleasures or whatever you want, but what music/genre/artists/songs do you think are worthy of your dancing like a lunatic in your bedroom, and why? (inspired by snivy's grammy thread because it reminded me of britney and nicki)

for me, the two i just mentioned, definitely. britney has always had such amazing pop sense, great beats, hot lyrics, and just... i feel like her songs are so well put together. they make me feel sexy and pretty and it just makes me wanna dance!

nicki minaj is just amazing. i dressed as her for halloween LOL. superbass is my favourite song of hers. and because she's a rapper, i can rap along and pretend that i'm actually good. LOL.

jet, just because... come on. their songs are the ultimate air guitar material for me xD

the avett brothers because his vocals are amazing, and their sound is so pleasant but fun at the same time.

i also love pretty girl rock by keri wilson, you make me feel by cobra starship & sabi, and kill everybody by skrillex :D

et tu? (:

I have nothing to be guilty for. I dance and sing like a lunatic wherever I happen to be and hold no shame in liking a song. If a song comes on that I can't control myself to, I just let it out. Haters to the left, pressed like paninis jealous of my superior dancing abilities wishing they were me!! Right now the song I can't control myself to is Marry The Night, but that's been like that for a while...

Like Nick, I have nothing to be ashamed of. I like what I like, and that's that. I dance whenever I feel like it. It's what I'm famous for! Amongst my friends, anyway.

I always dance, so I really have nothing to be ashamed of. I could be doing my classwork with my headphones and and start randomly dancing in my seat. My friends always recognize me dancing to myself before I realize that I'm even doing it.

'Letting My Hair Down' normally means a great deal of singing, as opposed to outright dancing. Because of this, most songs I do let my hair down for are ones that I know the majority of words to, and are within my range. For the most part, it tends to be more golden oldies as opposed to modern stuff as well. If something ridiculously cheesy like an ABBA number or something 90s-ish comes on, there's no stopping me. In comparison, if something like the new Rihanna single came on, I'd have absolutely nothing, even though I don't mind the song itself.
