Chapter 1: First Impressions
OOC/SU Thread, Accepting SUs.

The planet of Eilith has been peaceful for over 270 years. Here hundreds of different, races (Pokemon) call home. The races were once fractured decades ago, but when the Devourers appeared in force they were forced to unite or die. The Devourers are a race of adaptive large bug like organisms that always existed alongside Eilith as ruthless always hungering beasts. Their intelligence was very limited, was disorganized and never seen as a threat, but one day something caused them to gather together and form a vast army. They numbers were vast and suddenly they moved and attacked with purpose and showed tactics in battle. Worse yet they started to evolve and change into better killers. They seemed unstoppable until Arceus gathered all the Pokemon together and started to fight back. Ever since the great warrior Arceus and his small group of elite soldiers defeated the Devourers, the Eilithians have known relative peace while united under the banner of the Great Kingdom of Arceus, named after the great leader that saved us so many years ago. The Devourers have turned into nothing more than legends or a few small disorganized bands that roam The Scar, a vast wasteland that were the original swarm appeared from.

Life for the Eilithians however changed forever when a vast vortex opened in the night sky and a vast metal object appeared from within it. It landed deep in the Fardir Forest leaving a vast scar and destroying at least one village and worse yet a scared site devoted to two of Arceus' followers and a temple for worshiping the goddess of life. From this object emerged a new race that seemed ready for war using strange technology vastly superior to anything the Eilithians had.

Humanity (Terrans) is on the verge of extinction. Once the Galatical Terran Alliance spanned over hundreds of systems until they encountered a vastly superior race they began to call the Shivans. The Shivans attacked without mercy or reason, slaughtering any human they came across and laid waste to any planet the Terrans colonized. Now all that remains of humanity is a fleeing exodus fleets who the Shivans continue to hunt. Your exodus fleet now only consists of the damaged Respite, a Deimos class corvette. After making a risky jump to escape some Shivan pursuers the Respite accidently jumped into the atmosphere of an alien planet and soon after crashed onto the surface.

With no ability to repair the Respite this planet will become humanity'e new home... if humanity can survive.

Humans
GTCv Respite

"ALL HANDS BRACE FOR IMPACT! BRACE FOR IMPACT!" screamed a frantic male voice over the intercom throughout the ship. 5 Seconds later the ship impacted the planet's surface and ship jerked horribly and the sounds of creaking metal filled the many halls of the corvette. It sounded as if the ship was going to tear apart any minute as it continued to move from pure momentum. At this point everything had gone dark except emergency lighting which bathed everything in an eerie red. Finally after what felt like hours the ship came to a halt and instantly the intercom was filled with several voices giving out orders and asking for assistance. A minute later the lights came back on and the ship turned into a hornets' nest as crew, marines, and civilians rushed to help the wounded.

Meanwhile on the command deck…

"Good landing Captain… you were able to land the ship mostly in one piece and even afforded to keep it upright," said Brigadier General Grimm as he stood up from his seat he had taken for the crash.

"Thank you General, but the credit goes to all the," said the captain before she was cut off by a third voice.

"Ma'am! You need to see…" yelled one of the younger enlisted. He realized too late he had interrupted the general and captain and was now breaking out in a cold sweat as both of the senior officers walked over to his station to look at what he was so excited about.

Looking at the frozen radar display General Grimm cocked his head to the side and asked, "What am I looking at sailor?"

The nervous sailor started to stammer, "Well I set the sensor array to map the terrain and look for objects on the ground and this popped up. I was able to focus a short scan on it and this is what came up." He pointed out a small blob of a much lighter green on his scope and then he zoomed in which also sharpen the image on that area. "Ma'am, Sir… this looks…"

"Like someone made it," said the General as he examined the refined radar image. "Sailor where is this structure?"

"Sir I think we landed on it…" replied the sailor who seemed to be relaxing a little.

"****, if that was built and we plowed through it whoever built it is likely not going to be very happy with us," replied the General speaking out loud to himself. He then quickly turned toward the door and yelled back over his shoulder as he left, "Good work sailor someone tell the marines we are on alert. Also I want a 6 man fire team, a 5 man fire team, and 3 Hellion crews in the Hellion bay now!"

General Grimm then ran out of the command deck headed for the armory to grab some armor and his machine gun then it was off to the Hellion bay. "Wonderful first impression," muttered the General to himself as he ran.

Pokemon
Town of Tranquility
15 minutes after the Respite crashed

The citizens of Tranquility could only stare at awe at the massive object that had just crashed several miles away. Their homes, made in from living trees by skilled nature magic (grass type) users, were all empty as everyone was outside to see the giant object. Almost no one moved as they stared at the strange metal object that had suddenly crashed into the surrounding forest. Already Pokemon were discussing what it was and where it came from.

All of a sudden there was a flash followed by a burst of psychic energy as a Gardevoir teleported herself and several others into the middle of the city. A Typhlosion who was among the few who had been teleported by the Gardevoir screamed, "Mirit, the temple of Fircia, and the Hall of the Forest Heroes are all gone! Destroyed, wiped out, and along with almost everyone in it. We are the only survivors!"

Looking at the other survivors the look of shock and horror confirmed what the fire type was saying was true. The Gardevoir at this point began to cry as she fell to the ground in grief. The news at first silenced the residents of Tranquility before a storm of voices erupted. Despite all the talking the Typhlosion could be heard once again above all the other Pokemon, "That thing has destroyed our sacred temple, killed our friends and families, and even destroyed the resting place of our greatest heroes! It has to be evil and must be destroyed!" As he spoke the flames on his body began to grow more intense. Several Pokemon around him had to retreat a little to get away from the intense heat his flames were putting off.

"No we should not attack it until we understand what it is," replied a booming voice coming from the Chief of the village. The crowd began to separate as a massive Venusaur approached the Typhlosion. The Venusaur was Litir, the village's well loved chief for the past decade, everyone in town knew him and respected him. "I think we should wait and see what it does next," said the Venusaur.

"And let it kill more of us?!" screamed the Typhlosion. "No we should attack before it gets a chance to kill more of us! Whose with me!?"

"It hasn't moved in the last couple of minutes perhaps your right we should take action, but not attack it. Perhaps sending scouts to investigate it would be the best course of action," replied the Venusaur as all the villagers began jointing into the debate on whether to watch to see what that thing did, attack it, or send a scouting force.

Alice McDowe

"ALL HANDS BRACE FOR IMPACT! BRACE FOR IMPACT!" Alice gritted her teeth as she grabbed hold of one of the bolted down supply racks as the ship crashed into the ground. The most important medicines were locked in sealed compartments, but the medicines not locked up were flung all over the place. Pill boxes and glass bottles were flung against the wall and floor as the hull continued to screech. A second later the lights switched off and everything glowed a red hue as the emergency lights kicked in.

Finally the ship stopped moving and the lights switched back on. Alice sighed in relief, which quickly turned to a cry of frustation as she saw all the medial supplies spilled around the medical bay. All of the glass bottles had shattered spilling their contents on multiple places on the floor and the pill boxes had recieved large dents thanks to multiple collisions with the steel of the ship. Another sound began to invade the intercoms, the sound of groans and moans and pleads for help. Letting out a wearied sigh Alice sprinted to the medical cabinents and unlocked one with the code she had come with herself. She quickly picked out four bottles, slammed the door shut and grabbed a pack near the desk and dumped them in. Tying it around her waist the medic headed out and made sweeps through the hallways. She gave each passer-by a quick glance looking for any major injuries.

She found her first patient near the mess hall with a broken leg. Already there was Darell...David, whatever the medic's name was. He was helping the 30ish looking year old man as he tried to stop the leg's bleeding. Alice rolled her eyes and kneeled down, "David stop with the bandaging, it won't work with tablecloth. Go get me some linen cloth and a splint that I was expecting five minutes ago." The man looked at her, "The name's...." Alice glared back at him, "I don't care what your name is at the moment just go and get the damn supplies." The medic ran off, grumbling under his breath as he did so.

Looking back down at the patient Alice saw that some bone was sticking out, she knew how to fix that. Putting her upper body weight on the man's chest she grabbed hold of the bone with one hand and using her other hand pushed it back into the leg. This went about as well as she expected as the man under her screamed like a baby and immediately tried to grab hold of his leg. Her body weight kept him down and she continued pushing until the bone was hidden. By this time the medic had come back and she wasted no time in wrapping the wound and braced the leg in the splint in less than a minute.

Seeing the man's pain the medic stepped forward, "Couldn't we..." "No, morphine is a valuable resource, we can't waste it." Alice replied coldly. It was true, they only had a limited supply of it on the ship and if Alice had gotten it out every time somebody had asked then they would be up a creek without a paddle now. "Get him to the med bay and anyone else with first priority injuries. First priority only, understand?" The medic glared, "Understood Chief." Alice got up, "Oh, and make sure you have someone competent help you carry him back, we can't have you dropping him."

As she sprinted down the hall the intercom spoke up yet again, this time to inform the marines that they were now on alert. Alice doubled around and headed straight for the armory. Her duty to the marines always came first, besides the other medics were at least competent enough to stitch up a wound or two. As she ran down the hallway she saw another medic she hadn't bothered to become friendly with. Alice tossed her the pack she had and continued sprinting. The medic would be able to figure out what to do with the medicines inside.

She arrived at the armory and opened her locker, placing on her armor and grabbing the supply kit she made sure was always up to date. Once her armor was on she slipped on her medic arm band and with her helmet in hand, sprinted toward the Hellion Bay. Once there Alice saw that the General himself was already here as she sat down to take a quck breather and patiently wait for the rest of the squads to arrive.

Sanya Kikachu

There was a loud blast, the earth shaking underneath as the winds roared up her fur. She was on a quiet stroll around the main city until this happened. How could this have happened? What was it? A meteorite? Some pokemon of tremendous proportions? All that she knew was that it would be another mission for her to take. She was in Tranquility, having her vacation of the year. She remembered the King's words. What he said meant that no matter what, she wouldn't be called upon since those who were called out were good enough for her job.

Suddenly, all the citizens of the village ran out their homes to witness the mnassive object. Following them, the object started to form an outline a she got nearer and nearer. She sprinted on all her fours to reach the place. Once she reached her destination, she grew wide eyed at the thing standing in front of her. Before she could get a good look at it, she was suddenly teleported out the vicinity and to the center of Tranquility. Shocked, she turned to discover that this was Gardevoir's doing. Before she could speak out, another pokemon had hollered out.

"Mirit, the temple of Fircia, and the Hall of the Forest Heroes are all gone! Destroyed, wiped out, and along with almost everyone in it. We are the only survivors!" the Typhlosion had yelled out, followed by horror and gasps of realization. Sanya's heart broke, realizing what was happening. This could cause war with whatever just attacked them. Hatred grew into her heart, swelling into black darkness. It was then the chief of the town, Litir the Venusaur, came to contradict the fire type.

"No we should not attack it until we understand what it is," boomed out a voice coming from the Chief of the village. The crowd began to separate as Litir approached the Typhlosion. "I think we should wait and see what it does next," said the Venusaur.

"And let it kill more of us?!" screamed the Typhlosion. "No we should attack before it gets a chance to kill more of us! Whose with me!?" Sanya agreed, her hands turning into fists just at the thought of the extraterrestrials.

"It hasn't moved in the last couple of minutes. Perhaps your right we should take action, but not attack it. Perhaps sending scouts to investigate it would be the best course of action," replied Litir as all the villagers began jointing into the debate on whether to watch to see what that thing did, attack it, or send a scouting force. Sanya didn't speak, instead blocked out the world. If they were to send a scouting force, she would definitely volunteer or ask to join. They should know Sanya, the great! Unfortunately, she was a spy, and should not reveal herself so easily. She was in her normal, Zoroark form. On vacations, she tries not to transform at all since she was basically being lazy. However, this situation was different.

Nathaniel Excifer
He was cutting down trees, slowly destroying the trunk as his partner helped him out on the other side. The Gallade and Bisharp were doing well in cutting down the massive tree by Tranquility's forest side, until something extraordinary happened. There was a faint sound of an object above them. He continued his work as he lifted his head to glance up. What he was looking at made him nearly stop breathing. There was a massive object over them, probably too high up to tell what it was. It was growing bigger.....and bigger....going faster and faster.....until something inside him told him that it was no pokemon he knew.

"Look up Miguel!" he yelled out to the Bisharp, who was his job partner. Doing what he says, his jaws dropped in amazement. Halting his work, the Bisharp runs off to Tranquility, warning the other workers about what was about to happen. Nathaniel simply stayed in his spot, the object's closeness complexing him. Staring at the object as it passed over them and went as fast as a rocket right past his eyesight. It all happened so fast, in a flick of a finger. Smoke trailed behind it, meaning it was no pokemon, but technology.

"...it can't....no...is it?" he mumbled to himself, now dashing towards where it might land. After a minute of running, he was suddenly caught off guard by a sudden earthquake that made him fall and land on his face. Realizing that the object probably landed and crashed, he quickly stood up and regained his posture. Dashing towards Tranquility, he was soon met with screams and fear of the villagers. Entering the village, there was already a Typhlosion and the great Litir having a serious discussion.

"It hasn't moved in the last couple of minutes. Perhaps your right we should take action, but not attack it. Perhaps sending scouts-" he was able to listen until he was interrupted by other Lumberjacks that ran past him in yells of worry and horror. What just happened, he does not know. He has yet to know until-wait...oh no! That object had crashed in the same area Mirit and the Hall of the Forest Heroes was! Could it be that it destroyed their greatest hopes? If so....he could imagine a great battle coming on. He walked towards the circle of villagers, accidentally bumping into a Zoroark along the way.

"Hey...," she let out, glancing at him.

"Sorry," he mumbled out, continuing until he could go no further. Everybody was discussing about whether to send out scouts and other such things. He had never seen Tranquility in such a mess. What could happen next?

Alex "Hyena" Sherman

"ALL HANDS BRACE FOR IMPACT! BRACE FOR IMPACT!" The intercom rang. Alex braced himself for the impact he expected. He held on to the side of the ship for dear life, not really know what was going to happen. In his suit, nobody could have guessed, but he was scared. They all were. A few seconds later, the ship came to a crash, moving all over the place as everything began to bump and fall. Alex tried to hold on, but lost grip and plunged to the side of the ship, where he hit his side. The pain was strong even through his suit, and he knew he'd have a bruise there later.

Eventually, the ship came to a halt. Alex was on the side of the ship, slowly getting up. It was a tough landing, but he was alright. Looking up, he saw a number of others struggling to get up, some with minor bruises, others looking pretty bad. A particular person seemed in pretty bad shape, unable to get up. Alex struggled for a moment to decide what to do. He didn't help him because he didn't want to, but more because he wasn't accustomed as much to interacting with others. Eventually, he threw aside his feelings and went to help the man, only to see someone else already get on it. Seeing that his help was no longer needed, Alex retreated back to his original standing position.

Unsure of what to do, Alex stood there, looking rather dumbly at the others. The marines and other personnel that passed by him gave him odd looks. Some were looks of "what the hell are you doing?" type of thing, but for the most part, they were looks of either nervousness or bewilderment. After all, nobody had ever seen Alex's face, who is always covered behind his full suit of armor. In fact, almost nobody had ever talked to him here.

Thankfully, he was saved from standing around by the telecom which demanded all marines to go on alert. Immediately, Alex went to the armory, where he prepared. Alex grabbed the standard assault rifle. On his back already was his own personal weapon, the Semi Automatic Sniper System, modified, or SASS rifle, a weapon meant for snipers, but could still fire like an assault rifle. In previous meetings with Shivans, he usually opened up with this weapon from afar, and if they ever got close enough, finished them off with the assault rifle. Of course it was easier said than done.

Assault rifle in check and his SASS attached, Alex then began loading up on ammo. He had plasma capabilities on his SASS, but decided to get some standard ammo for the weapon as well. In the meantime, General Grimm had also made his way to the armory. Alex silently saluted the General, then proceeded back to arming himself. When he was set, Alex made his way to the Hellion bay, where he waited for the others to arrive, trying to do his best to keep his distance from the others there.

Magnus Yttallum
attachment.php

Magnus the metang lay paralyzed with shock for a few seconds in a dent he had carved before getting up. He sat in sort soil, and along with the trees they had slowed him enough to ensure a relatively safe ending. He watched as the object rolled along the earth, trampling the majority of Mirit and the sacred shrines to their gods. His initial reaction was anger, but he was't one to hold a grudge too long. He pushed himself out of the dent he had made in the ground and adjusted the golden bandage on his silver left arm to cover his criminal-signifying mark. He looked around and tried to get his bearings. If he recalled correctly, the town of tranquility was a little less than a kilometer to the west. He stated off in that direction.

When he arrived at the scene everyone had their undivided attention at the object not sitting motionless in the crater where the city of Mirit used to be. Again a pang of anger boiled through him. This time it lasted longer before dispersing. Why should he be mad at an object with unknown intentions? Perhaps it was only a meteor... which accidentally crashed into one of the most important locations dedicated to their deities. It seemed a bit too unrealistic to Magnus. However, nothing else came to mind. It was certainly not a pokemon. Was it sent by the devourers, an ancient story of evil beings. No, they had been sentenced to dwell in the scar. Wait.. the object that landed had made a scar in the earth. The though unnerved Magnus, but it also seemed irrational. He couldn't think of anything else. He shook his head telling himself that he thought too much. He gathered into the group of onlookers. Nearly right after he joined the group, a flash behind him attracted his attention.

A gardevoir had teleported into the woodland town with several others. One of the group mambers, a Typhlosion yelled, shocked.
"Mirit, the temple of Fircia, and the Hall of the Forest Heroes are all gone! Destroyed, wiped out, and along with almost everyone in it. We are the only survivors!" Was that it? was that small group and himself the only survives in the City? The though scared him. He didn't spot anyone he worked with. A painfully strong force of sorrow made him wince. It all happended too fast! It wasn't fair. The anger bubbled inside him again, not leaving this time. The gardevoir began to cry and the typhostion spoke again "That thing has destroyed our sacred temple, killed our friends and families, and even destroyed the resting place of our greatest heroes! It has to be evil and must be destroyed!" The flames on its back grew with anger. Part of Magnus agreed with the pokemon. He probably would've said so too if the cheif of the village, a Venusaur named Litir, replied first.

"No, we should not attack it until we understand what it is,"spoke the Chief of the village calmly. Mangus agreed and part of his anger went away. The Venusaur was not chief for nothing, he had a convincing air to him. Litir stepped forward to confront the typhosion.

"I think we should wait and see what it does next," said the Litir

"And let it kill more of us?!" The fire pokemon was creaming now. "No! we should attack before it gets a chance to kill more of us! Whose with me!?"

"It hasn't moved in the last couple of minutes perhaps your right we should take action, but not attack it. Perhaps sending scouts to investigate it would be the best course of action," Magnus silently agreed with Litir, his anger now little more than a weak simmer. Everyone else was also siding with one or the other between murmurs. From what he caught, it was about 50-50. Magnus hovererd watching and wondering what would happen next

Riley was walking along the streets of Mirit, minding his own business. Well actually he was running, trying to bring the ingredients back to Nia so she could make her famous Aspear Tea. The stuff could warm up even a Frosslass... or that's what they said anyway. No one had actually tried, mostly because they weren't usually customers. Eh, it was advertising. "Gosh..." the Pikachu muttered, shifting the sack in his paws. "I forget how heavy berries are sometimes." That was when the air began to rumble, or at least that was how it felt to the mouse. He looked up at the sky to see a shadow above his vision. What in the world- That was his last thought before a hand grabbed his paw and he was gone...

Only to land flat on his guitar in the middle of Tranquillity. His first emotion after shock was panic, particularly after the whole earth trembled and shook him around. Riley looked around to see various citizens staring at him. Their eyes were wide with terror and surprise, an expression he was sure was mirrored on his own face. Slowly the shock faded, allowing him to hear the Typhlosion that was shouting. Mirit? Mirit was gone? He was one of the few left? And the temple for Fircia... wiped out? Riley groaned and gripped his head with a paw, dropping the berries with a thump. "No..." Nia... The Spinda had been his helping hand in Mirit. All of those lives, hers included, they just... they couldn't be gone right?

Over the thumping of his chest and the wail he was suppressing, he could hear the others talking about the thing that had crash-landed and completely destroyed their lives. Some people wanted to go after it and attack. Others wanted to scout. Riley wasn't sure either of those were right. If the thing had just destroyed a village, wouldn't it be a waste of energy to attack it? In fact, it could be unconscious. If they waltzed over and it woke up, it would probably attack! And they'd be toast. But... Nia... His paws curled and he growled, electricity sparking around his body.

It was your fault, a voice in his head sneered. If you hadn't come here and been her friend, she'd be here. He shook his head, ignoring it. This was just a bad accident... maybe?

Would Nia want Riley to avenge her? Would she want him to know what had done this? THe first one, no, but the second, yes she would. She was a curious and dreamy Spinda, unhappy with her life in that tiny cafe. She wanted to know everything. She couldn't now... so he would. As a god, it was his responsibility to help fulfill the wishes of his people.

Besides, something that tough was probably new. He just had to see what kind of magic was used to make it. So he grinned reflexively, hollowly, holding back the tears. He would cry for his city later, when he was sure just what he was crying for. For now, simply breaking down was not an option. Everybody here would look down on him. And looking down on a god was just unforgivable.

Riley looked around for a way out of this big crowd. He wanted to go alone. An army would be nice but that could give the wrong idea or however his aunt had put it. Besides, he needed to check on his mom and Aunt. If they were hurt too... he probably would lose his mind.

Danny "Chino" Calhoun

Danny ran back toward his room only to be stopped by the intercoms warning. "ALL HANDS BRACE FOR IMPACT! BRACE FOR IMPACT!" Echoed throughout the corridor of the corvette. The ship crashed into the planet moments later, sending Dan flying down the hallway. He groaned as he sat up, the main lights were out. He looked down at his pants, then his shirt and vest. His pant legs were a little ripped, but with a little repair, they would live to be worn another day. Danny stood up and navigated back to his room which was a little bit down the hall from where he was.
He stepped into his room and walked over to the locker where he stored his weapons. Dan tried to open the locker, but it was jammed. He gave a good kick to the lock, then opened it. It opened with a creek to reveal it's contents, his custom SCAR II and his Majestic. He took out the two weapons and put them on the table. Next, he went under his bed and pulled out a case about the size of 2 matresses stacked on top of each other. Engraved on the top was "Daniel Calhoun." Danny typed in the code on the keypad, the case made a loud click as the keypad said "Access Granted." He lifted up the lid up. Housed inside of the case was Danny's NanoSuit 2. He put it on and booted up the HUD. Ammo, Suit energy, Suit modes, crosshair, and a Minimap that wouldn't work till they mapped out the planet. The intercom again came on, along with the lights, and said that all Marines were on alert, It also requested a 6 and 5 man fireteams to the Hellion bay. Danny stepped out of the room and jogged down the corridor through the dim light to the armory.
He got to the armory and grabbed as many clips as he could carry. He loaded up his rifle, and his handgun. There were Marines grabbing ammo, weapons, and talking about what just happened scattered around the armory's space. Dan walked over to the exit of the room, but turned around half way there to grab one more cartridge for his Majestic, can't ever have too many high caliber bullets, could you? Again, he headed to the door and walked out into the hall. Frenzied soldiers were running back and forth, going to help people or get ammo and whatnot. He headed against most of the troops, to the hanger bay. Danny walked into the bay to find he was one of the first soldiers there for the fireteams. He went over and started helping some people pick up everything that had fallen, such as boxes and tools, and reorganize them while he waited for everyone else.

Respite Hellion Bay
Brigadier General Ezekiel Grimm

"AREA A'TTEN HUT!" announced a marine at the door as Grimm walked in fully decked out in his gear. "At ease!" yelled the General as he walked to the middle of the room where the Marines were starting to gather.

"Ok Marines here is the down and dirty… The Respite is not going anywhere. That crash has her disabled, but the good news is we landed on a planet than can sustain human life. Additionally there have been no signs of the Shivans. This might be our lucky day… might… The problem is it appears there is intelligent life on this planet. Intelligent life we happened to land on top of about a mile back. However from what we have seen if there is something out there they are likely pretty primitive, and lack sophisticated technology.

It's our job to go in and confirm any possible existence of life on this planet, and establish if they are hostile or possibly friendly. Ladies and Gentlemen we are the guinea pigs. If we do encounter alien life the Rules of Engagement are as follows: only fire on them if I ORDER you too, or if you come under directly military attack. If you retaliate on some scared ****less alien that attacked you with a stick I will personally kill you myself after I publically strip you of all honor and rank. We can't afford to fight a war right now… there are too few of us alive with too little firepower. If there are aliens here we either need to make peace with them or scare them so badly they don't step within a 100 miles of this ship. So if we are to engage them in battle use everything in your arsenal to lay waste to them. Shoot to kill or don't shoot at all.

Only exception to this rule is if you encounter a Shivan in that case send it straight to ****. Now let's load up!" said the General as he walked toward the closest Hellion. He stepped aboard and took the seat closest to the door on the left side and watched the rest of his team get in.

Ten minutes later the Hellion took off and started to accelerate rapidly as it left the Respite's docking bay. A few minutes after that the Hellion began to descent vertically and then jerked as it fully stopped its descent. The docking bay doors swung open revealing a vast scar left by the Respite, and around it was nothing but vast trees that reached to the sky with various shades of green and blue leaves. General Grimm jumped out first and took the 5 foot drop from the hovering transport gracefully. Pulling his machine gun up to a firing position he quickly ran behind cover and scanned the area to protect the LZ while the Hellion dropped off the rest of his team.

Once everyone was out Grimm motioned everyone to follow him as he climbed out of the vast scar. Meanwhile the Hellion climbed back out to the sky to orbit over the fire team to provide fire support. Looking around the scar itself it looked like they had landed close to where the structure had been and there was evidence of a constructed stone building by the look of the debris. Climbing out of the scar completely he stood up and looked in awe of the sight in front of him. It was the remains of Mirit… vast trees grew to the sky but built into the trees appeared to be homes, but sadly this seemed to just be the outskirts of the town. Looking back down into the scar he quickly got a better view… it looks like the Respire had run straight through the town itself. There wasn't much to look at, but all the ground to bits rubble and parts of trees did have littered remains of what used to be made objects, and he swore he saw some blood and some other fleshy remains grounded into the dirt as well.

"Marines… be careful looks like we destroyed a town or city. Everyone search these remaining buildings… if we find wounded, Medic try to help if you can. Likely they will be scared of us so if they attack you just fall back and report your position. It might be too late to prevent a war at this point, but I don't want to shoot up any scared defenseless aliens," said Grimm with a hint of despair in his voice. He then turned around just in time to miss a flash come from the window of one of the few remaining buildings.

Town of Tanquility

While everyone was arguing no one had been paying attention to the Gardevoir survivor who had been crying. After a minute of constant bickering she couldn't handle it anymore and teleported back to her home and shop in Mirit. She had a small herb and medicine shop on the outskirts of Mirit that specialized in small medicines that would help one sleep, dream good dreams, relax, and sooth away minor aches. She was going through her things gathering up the few most treasured valuables she owned when she started to hear a roaring sound in the distance that quickly got closer. Looking out her window she saw some flying machine that spat fire from its wings descend into the vast crevice that used to be Mirit.

Seconds dragged on as she watched the metal flying creature hover there mostly and then it rose back up to the sky. Not long after that several figures could be seen climbing out of the ditch. They were similar in shape as her, but were clad in metal and held strange things. They seemed to be looking around, and at first the Gardevoir was frozen in fear as she watched them. A second later she snapped back to reality and quickly focused her energy teleporting back to Tranquility and right back into the middle of the debate.
"They are in Mirit," she said softly at first as she still held a few of her most treasured belongings. When no one noticed she said it again, but once again no one heard her. Finally she yelled adding a psychic presence to her voice so it would echo in everyone's head, "They are in Mirit! They came from a metal flying thing that spat fire from its unmoving wings and they look a lot like me in shape, but they are clad in metal and they are carrying strange devices!" Everyone stopped and looked at the Gardevoir who shyly started to shrink away from the staring crowd.

The Venasaur quickly jumped at the chance and said, "Let's send a scouting force to Mirit at once! That way we don't have to get close to the big device to scout them out and we can see how they interact with any wounded or dead they find. Perhaps then we can discover if they are hostile or not! Do we have any volunteers?!"

Sanya Kikachu

Sanya was debating whether to go or stay, or to be at peace or act hostile. It was confusing, but she shouldn't get involved she liked it or not. Before she could act, there was a loud scream of a flying object not too far away. Glancing up, she saw a flying thing that spat fire from its wings, fear coming to her. Not long aftet, that same Gardevoir teleported right in front of her, making her yelp and fall down from shock. "They are in Mirit," she said softly at first as she still held a few of her most treasured belongings. Nobody seemed to notice her, but she did. Standing up, she turned around to see if anybody else was paying attention. Finally, the Gardevoir yelled adding a psychic presence to her voice so it would echo in everyone's head, "They are in Mirit!

Without hesitation, she realized this could be her chance to get intel on the strange beings. She could then go back to the king and be put in a higher position as before, which felt like an amazing idea. Walking towards the Venusaur and bowing down, everybody stared at her. "I will volunteer," she spoke with a mannerly voice, her head facing the ground. Sanya always bows her head down to higher leaders, wanting to get a good reputation.

Nathaniel Excifer

The crowd was going crazy, the Gallade noticing the Gardevoir that caught his attention. Mesmerized, she was sure a beauty to see. Never has he seen such an innocent, pure Gardevoir before. However, he could tell she looked desperate. He then saw her mouth out words, yet not able to hear them due to the loudness of the crowd. He pushed them as he walked closer towards her, wanting to hear her out. Once he finally reached her, she was yelling out to the crowd. She seems to be holding some belongings.

"They are in Mirit! They came from a metal flying thing that spat fire from its unmoving wings and they look a lot like me in shape, but they are clad in metal and they are carrying strange devices!" Everyone stopped and looked at the Gardevoir who shyly started to shrink away from the staring crowd. He didn't stare, but gazed at her. Even the way she looked shy was beautiful-wait, what was he saying? This is ridiculous! Stop thinking like that Nathaniel. It took him a few seconds to suck in the information she had just said, his face showing shock. "Strange beings....like me?" he mumbled out. Looking down at his hands, he tried to visualize them in his body shape, yet in clad armor and carrying strange devices. He was unable however, and instead got distracted by another voice that boomed over them.

"Let's send a scouting force to Mirit at once! That way we don't have to get close to the big device to scout them out and we can see how they interact with any wounded or dead they find. Perhaps then we can discover if they are hostile or not! Do we have any volunteers?!" Litir hollered out in desperation. Right away a Zoroark came to his rescue and bows down before him. 'Such manners....she must be from the capital,' he thought.

"I will volunteer," she spoke with a mannerly voice, her head facing the ground. This encouraged him to act as well, a strange notion appearing on his head. 'Maybe I could simply impress her.....no. I should stop this. I shouldn't get involved, this is not my fight at all,' he though, yet accidentaly got caught into her eyes. She looked worried and horrified, sadness overwhelming her.

"I'm in," he rose his hand, walking to be right before the chief of Tranquility. The fox pokemon was still bowing her head, yet he could notice an angry frown appearing on her face after he spoke his words.

Alice McDowe

Alice watched as more and more marines filled the bay. Unlike the civilian setting she was so accustomed to Alice was more friendly with the people she had gained an admiration for. During the first few months on the Respite the marines were baffled when gossip started that the chief medical officer was a (insert cuss word of your choice). Alice wasn't blind, she knew what the civillians said behind her back, how she had one of the few honors of being one of the few people to be called every single cuss word known to man. The marines, on the other hand, were an entirely different story. They were the ones that everyone on the Respite depended on. They were the people who would head out to bust some heads if their survival was threatened. It made sense that a good amount of morphine was in her medical supply bag as well as other medicines that would make sure that the marines would not die, because if they died, then everyone was dead.

"AREA A'TTEN HUT!" Alice left her thoughts as she stood rigid at the command. The only sound in the bay was the sound of footsteps, the general's footsteps, "At ease!" the general yelled and Alice went back into a more relaxed position. In summary the Respite was out of commision, for the moment. They had landed on a planet that had a breathable atmosphere and even better there were no signs Shivans on it. Of course the good news came to a close once he announced that there was intelligent life on it. Even better they had crashed through a city, a primitave one at that, and no doubt had killed hundreds of aliens.

Their job know was to scout the area, see if the inhabitants were friendly or hostile, not to shoot unless they attacked first, and in essence see if they could walk out of this without the planet's military blowing them to bits. Alice was not an idiot. She had seen movies with her dad where alien spaceships had crashed in empty fields and the moment the alien stepped out, BOOM, the military kills it before it even had a chance to speak. She stopped in mid thought as the memory of her fauther rose up again and she felt that same grief she had those months ago, but she quickly pushed it back down. Of course the rest of the movie would be about the aliens coming to earth to kill the humans and the humans had to fight them off, etc. In those movies the alien had never been at fault. It hadn't crashed into a city, killed hundred of people, scarred the lives of the survivors, and then come out and say sorry. No, it was never that simple. Once the general finished the briefing Alice checked the tazer strapped to her leg, making sure to turn the voltage up to max. The other medics might be stupid and believe that everything would go according to plan, but she knew better. If she went down, then her team would go down as well. She wasn't going to let her team die anytime today.

Putting on her helmet she jumped into the same hellion the general had gotten into. The descent was quick and as the doors opened Alice jumped onto the solid ground. She couldn't help but look around and notice the scar that their ship had left, but more importantly she saw the unscarred trees, the grass, the sky. She was almost tempted to take off the helmet and feel the wind on her face but duty came before pleasure. The general have the gesture to move and Alice followed behind her teammates. A medic had lighter armor to move faster on the battlefied and if she took a shot to the face by being near the front, well, there went the idiot healer. Once out of the scar the squad stopped and Alice couldn't help but have her eyes drift to the ground and groan when she saw the blood and guts. They were so going to be killed.

"Marines… be careful looks like we destroyed a town or city. Everyone search these remaining buildings… if we find wounded, Medic try to help if you can. Likely they will be scared of us so if they attack you just fall back and report your position. It might be too late to prevent a war at this point, but I don't want to shoot up any scared defenseless aliens,"

Alice nodded, "Yes, sir." She turned to her squad mates, "Okay boys, I'll let you all lead on. I have lighter armor so if I head out and am surrounded by enemies it means death for me, and based on the damage I think several people are going to be pissed. If you spot out any wounded just point out the location to me and I can be over there in a flash. We're going to find first priority victims first. For those of you who have no idea what that is, it's heavy bleeding, cucussions, severed limbs, broken bones, in essence they are in no position to move or will die in less than a minute. If I need anyone to help me while I work I'll tell you, but for, lead on General."

Alex "Hyena" Sherman

"AREA A'TTEN HUT!" shouted someone. Immediately, Alex stood at attention. "At ease!" yelled the General as he walked to the middle of the room where the Marines were starting to gather. Alex stood to the side, out of the way from everyone, but still listening to what the General had to say.

It was a standard speech on what to do according to the Rules of Engagement as heard from a General's mouth. A threat here, a few curse words thrown in just to make it all sink in good enough, and connect with the younger marines. Overall, a good speech.

"Only exception to this rule is if you encounter a Shivan in that case send it straight to ****." Alex concurred with that. He knew what to do by now. But still, he wondered if now he was going to get the chance to meet his ideal alien. Back in his youth, he had always wanted to meet some. But not like the Shivans. They were the perfect undesirable alien. He wondered what this kind would be like. In any case, he tried not to be too optimistic, in case it turned out to be another "dead end", so to speak.

"Now let's load up!" The General commanded. Alex hesitated for a few seconds. He had never liked to be in close proximity with other people, especially sitting next to them. Still, he had a duty to do, so he fell in eventually towards the end, and got in one of the Hellions. The ride was relatively silent, no one really spoke. But then again, no one really knew what to say. Whose to know what to expect at this point?

Eventually, though, the Hellions stopped, and everyone flooded out. Alex was last to get out, landing on his feet as he scanned the area. Apparently, their was a big impact left from Respite. Alex heard the General speak again.

Alex silently followed, standing closer to the back of the group, out of everyone's way. He neither spoke to anyone, or looked at anyone. Instead, he looked around at this strange world, and was hopeful. As the General said, it appeared that there were settlers here, but they have been running for so long, could they really have found a new home? Were they really finally able to relax? Nothing was certain just yet, but Alex still had those thoughts in his mind, hopeful thoughts.

As Alex's mind wandered, he heard a familiar female voice speaking to them. Alice McDowe, if Alex recalled correctly. A Sergeant and a Medic. Alex remembered her from the ship. He didn't know her too well, of course, but still, he memorized the sound of her voice, as he did a few other people, including the General.

As he walked, he wondered what would happen next, taking out his SASS rifle, ready to provide cover to whoever needed it. He zoomed in with the scope at a few of the remaining "buildings" to see if any life forms could be found.

Magnus Yttallum - Town of Tranquility

Magnus was listening in on a small group of burmy arguing about what they should do. Two grass cloaked individuals were trying to persuade the other two that to go and investigate would be the better options, while the other party was countering them with fairly arguable facts as well. Turning away from the quarrel of the cloaks, Magnus noted that the sobbing in the background had ceased. Looking around, he realized that the gardevoir who had brought the survivors to Tranquility was missing where could she have gone? Not much later a small burst of light signified that the gardevoir had returned. Magnus relaxed a little.

She spoke something softly that he couldn't hear over the din. She was clutching some objects, probably possessions of hers that had survived. No one else seemed to hear her either. She mumbled something again, Magnus straining to hear but still not catching any full words. Then she spoke again, quite louder. Her words reverberated in Magnus' scull. "They are in Mirit! They came from a metal flying thing that spat fire from its unmoving wings and they look a lot like me in shape, but they are clad in metal and they are carrying strange devices!" This time everyone heard her words and listened intently and turned to face her. She then slicked away into the shadows of a overhanging tree.

Seizing the moment of silence, the venusaur spoke to the group, "Let's send a scouting force to Mirit at once! That way we don't have to get close to the big device to scout them out and we can see how they interact with any wounded or dead they find. Perhaps then we can discover if they are hostile or not! Do we have any volunteers?!"

A zoroark was the first pokemon to steep forward. She bowed to Litir. Not soon after a gallade also volunteered to scout Mirit. He was comparably less educated. Magnus hesitated. Should he go? These beings might be hostile. Hadn't they wiped out an entire city and shrine both centuries old.
The metal they used for the object they arrived in was obviously unnecessarily dense judging on its velocity and impact. If they were in fact covered (or made of) metal, why would they use a weaker medium. Then again, who said they were foes? Had they intentionally destroyed the city? Before it seemed impossible, but given a second thought, the object they came from had taken fair damage itself. They had appeared from nothing, perhaps they came from the realm of Giritina. The legend of the long destroyed pokemon stated that it did live in another realm. These questions and so many more buzzed in his head. He adjusted the bandage on his arm nervously. He would never know the answers for sure unless he went to the remains of Mirit. Was there a risk of scouting? Yes. However, Magnus felt like it would be better to go than to stay. Besides, Magnus didn't like to sit still while others did the work.

After a bit, Magnus began to move forward raising his left arm. He flickered once before stopping in front of Litir. Following the example of the Zoroark, the metang bowed his head before the chief. He had sealed his fate. He was going to Mirit, weather for good or bad he could hardly ever imagine.

They were still talking about going over there. A part of Riley agreed, wanted to go charging in full tilt and see those strange creatures Gardevoir was talking about. He wanted to see who or what had killed Spinda. But... this felt wrong. To his religious upbringing and value of lives, this felt disrespectful. Their friends hadn't even gone cold in their beds yet... their spirits were still here, lingering. Riley knew that as well as he knew the workings of his guitar. You had to give the dead your farewells, your certainties before they could think about leaving and passing on the above realm. That was how Auntie put it, and as far as the little Pikachu was concerned, it was accurate. And before this got off, he had to say it.

"Hang on a minute!" he shouted, causing some Pokemon to turn. "Look I am all for scouting and investigating! My ears are some of the best here and any of my friends from Mirit can tell ya how I am about this stuff!" He looked around to see a couple nods, most from customers of the now destroyed cafe. "But... aren't we bein' a bit, gosh, I dunno, reckless? We're all for jumping in and going to see what did this but what about the dead? Can't we pay them a little respect before we rush off and stuff? I mean come on! These were only minutes ago our friendns and family! We gotta tell 'em it's okay to go!"

"Besides," he added, looking at the Zoroark and Gallade with a roll of the eyes. Was he being a voice of reason here? He doubted it but this was how his recklessly analytic mind saw it. "We go there and we are definitely in more trouble than we're thinkin' bout! Did you hear Gardevoir? They've got stuff we don't know about. If we're gonna go investimagate," He screwed up the word on purpose. "Shouldn't we wait till they're in a better spot, where we've got the area around us and stuff? As we are, we'd be walking in blind. Anybody who fights know that's not smart."

Sanya Kikachu

The whole speech the silly rodent gave annoyed her. She wanted to retort back saying if there were to be war, they needed information no matter. However, her true reason was to secretly investigate, and give information to the king. Sure, she was on vacation but...wouldn't she want to get a raise in position? Even better, the king could have even more trust on her. This was her dream.

Other agreed, while others were against it. Her mind was in confusion, but what happened in the past in now on the past. She had to move on and investigate. She rose up, her head still facing down. Some close to her, including the Gallade, glanced at her. When she looked up, she spoke out to the Gardevoir.

"You're a Gardevoir, are you not?" she asked the Gardevoir, who was a bit surprised about the sudden question.

"Y-yes-"

"You can teleport us then," Sanya reminded her, now glancing at the chief. He simply nodded. She sounded rash, and other scouts who volunteered were confused as well. All Sanya wanted was to get there as soon as possible. This rodent in yellow was ruining everything. Might as well deal with it now before everybody changes their minds. The Gardevoir yelled out for everybody to gather around her, Sanya not hesitating to do so.

Nathaniel Excifer

He heard everything from the rodent. He didn't take either side, yet he felt impressed from the fact he had reasons. However, they weren't factual. They were feelings, emotions, something useless. Obviously, he's only a toddler. Either way, he gave the Pikachu some credit. He waited for the others to gather around, Nathaniel still glancing at the Gardevoir every few minutes. He heard the Gardevoir holler out to everybody to gather, Nathaniel immediately rushed over to her. He watched as he, the Zoroark, and others volunteered. Even the evolution of Beldum joined in. 'Such manners,' he thought at the Zoroark after thinking for a while.

Danny "Chino" Calhoun

Danny Picked up a box that had fallen over during the crash landing, and started walking it towards the pile. He was about to stack the box, someone behind him yelled out "AREA A'TTEN HUT!" Dan still carefully finished stacking the box, as not doing so would most likely cause the pile to fall over, causing more problems then not standing at attention would. He hopped of the pile and joined everyone else standing at attention. "At ease!" the General said. He gave a short speech on what to do, the basics, what to do if there were Shivans, and ended his with the order to load up on the Hellions. Danny hopped into the same ship as the general, next thing he knew they were off. The ride was terribly silent, but who could blame everyone, what was there to say, that they had killed an unknown amount of possibly friendly lifeforms. The shuttle slowed rapidly as it landed, and everyone hopped out, him being near the middle. The party climbed out of the planets new wound. Dan looked around at what would become his new home. "Marines… be careful looks like we destroyed a town or city. Everyone search these remaining buildings… if we find wounded, Medic try to help if you can. Likely they will be scared of us so if they attack you just fall back and report your position. It might be too late to prevent a war at this point, but I don't want to shoot up any scared defenseless aliens," Teh General said. Dan started moving to the houses when he saw a flash in the corner of his eye, he ignored it, at least for now. It was probably just the sun reflecting off something anyways. "How much you guys wanna bet there hostile." Danny said breaking the silence.

Riley almost threw up his paws in exasperation. They weren't listening to him. Of course[/I they weren't. He was an emotional little kid, what did he know? Nothing obviously. Obviously he was stupid and naive and a worthless little freak. Okay it probably hadn't gone that far in their minds but he did have a habit of blowing things out of proportion. He shook his head. "Fine then," he said quietly, just loud enough for a few nearby Pokemon to hear. "Far be it for us to consider bringing the terrain to our advantage. Forgive me."

He bowed his head with gritted teeth. "I'm obviously too immature to understand your adult ideas and knowledge of survival. I'm obviously inept." He raised his head and scowled a little. "And mum called me rash," he added to himself.

"Oh don't sulk you insolent child," the voice of a Golduck chided.

Riley's ears twitched in dismay. "Yes because going off in a crowd and getting killed is a better option," he muttered. "Forgive me sir for my insolence then." He swiped his tail on the ground and bolted off, heading in the direction of Mirit. Maybe it was reckless running in on his own but was it much better than going in a group and appearing from nowhere?

Sanya Kikachu

Sanya heard everything, everything the pikachu had said. He was a stubborn one, and very rash indeed. In fact, so rash, she decided to turn into a female pikachu without anybody else looking. Rushing over to the pikachu, she blocked his path. She had fun making other feel like idiots, and acting like an innocent, opposite gender to the victim was also handy to watch. Even better, she might be able to suck the information out of him...

"We need somebody like you though....another pikachu!" she cried out, faking out tears. "I agree with you that.....that we must not take advantage but....but we must accept the past. We have...we have to look into the future!" she faked the whole thing. In fact, it was perfect. She has practiced this her entire life, being a Zoroark. Zoroarks were masters at illusions, and deceipt. Nobody has been able to see through these disguises. If nobody could, how could this rash male can?

"So please......you must," she mumbled out, looking down.

Riley peered at the Pikachu in front of him. What the heck? What was this Pikachu doing? Did she really think this of all things would stop him? Really... the crocodile tears were a trap. They were always a trap. He had used them on his mum. Whoever this was... they were arrogant. And stupid to boot. Wait... this couldn't be... He held back a smile. Yeah, it was. Arrogant berk.

He paused for only a second. "Look missum," he said quietly. "You can cut the act anytime now. It ain't gonna work. In case you can't tell, not many like me much here. Besides, you don't mean it no way. No one, not even Spinda, would come up to me and cry like that and expect me to believe it."

Riley holstered his guitar. "And if you looked past your nose at the little people and not up at the clouds, you would know better than to insult me like that missum. You don't need me and you ain't a Pikachu. Anybody with a sniffer can tell a lie from a truth. You just want to fluff up your fur for someone who don't care. As a god, there's only so much of that I can tolerate. Now go back to your group. People want you over there missum, begging your pardon for disruptin' your journey." He turned and started walking again.

Sanya Kikachu

All of a sudden, everything backfired. This wasn't with the plan, nothing was! "Look missum," he said quietly. "You can cut the act anytime now. It ain't gonna work. In case you can't tell, not many like me much here. Besides, you don't mean it no way. No one, not even Spinda, would come up to me and cry like that and expect me to believe it." He then holstered his guitar.

She snickered, greatly impressed. When he passed her, she started to get serious.

"Doesn't it remind you of somebody?" she said, still in her Pikachu form. she turned around to face him, grinning. "You have to accept the past. If you run away from it, what good will it do? You might be able to figure me out right off the bat but-" she stopped to build up static, which was an illusion anyway. It was impossible for him to know this, now this was something pikachu's do...or she was told so. Imaginary sparks that only Sanya knew were real took over her. "Funny how somebody like you still lives. You know they won't accept, so why go on? In fact....why did you go on and then give up? Might as well make them change to your side. Why start something without ending it the way it should be?" she hollered out in the end, wondering why as well. She had a bad case of curiosity, yet she never met one like him. He was able to discover her trick right away, but it's impossible for him to know who this really was...suddenly, an idea hit her.

"My point it-" she paused. First she had to apologize. Knowing this rash pikachu, he won't go down without a fight. "Sorry about what I just said. I wasn't holding my tongue. We still need power. We need somebody rash to lead, or to fight with us. I have no idea what your reason is to decline whatsoever, so don't bother explaining if you decline but...keep in mind that...what if those strange aliens have some machine to revive the dead? What if they have secrets? What if.....what if they have something we always desired," she was getting carried away with her explanation. "But I'm just a rash, stupid pikachu. If you were able to discover me, then anyone else can."

Magnus Yttallum-Tranquility

After he stepped forward, it got pretty silent. No one was volunteering. Who could blame them? If these things destroyed the whole city, how hard would it be for them to take out a few unknowing pokemon? It seemed like it would just be Himself, the zoroark, and the galade going to investigate the destroyed city. It would perhaps be better to create a bigger group, but oh well. What you get is what you get. I guess it's off we go, then... he thought.
He rightened himself and turned towards the pillar of smoke still rising from the object. Just then a pikachu with a guitar spoke up from the crowd.

"Hang on a minute!" he yelled "Look I am all for scouting and investigating! My ears are some of the best here and any of my friends from Mirit can tell ya how I am about this stuff!" a few pokemon nodded at this. "But... aren't we bein' a bit, gosh, I dunno, reckless? We're all for jumping in and going to see what did this but what about the dead? Can't we pay them a little respect before we rush off and stuff? I mean come on! These were only minutes ago our friendns and family! We gotta tell 'em it's okay to go!" Magnus was never very religious, he saw death as the end of but one life. However, he assumed that most of the murdered would've been gratefull for it.

"Besides, we go there and we are definitely in more trouble than we're thinkin' bout! Did you hear Gardevoir? They've got stuff we don't know about. If we're gonna go investimagate," he added sarcasm to the word "Shouldn't we wait till they're in a better spot, where we've got the area around us and stuff? As we are, we'd be walking in blind. Anybody who fights know that's not smart."

Magnus wasn't a fighter. Not now. However, if one of the beldums had the branding of a criminal, surely it fought. Thinking of his past made him upset, so he stopped. Unfortunately, the voices in his heads, the ones that weren't his, did not. Yes! one spoke That is quite wise for such a young mouse. The other had a difference in oppinion. No! Get in there quick and stealthily. Don't be seen and get it over with! Magnus concentrated on what was actually going on and not the strange cracked voices in his head. The voices, now blurred beyond definition, tuned out the sound. However he tried to interpret what he was seeing.

The pikachu, probably being annoyed at no one acknowledging him, began to storm in the direction of the city. He was probably going to test his plan alone. The Zoroark, transforming into a pikachu herself, chased after the real one. Magnus could hardly guess what she was saying or what she was implying. The pikachu, looking confused at first, said something to the zoroark before turning to the woods again.

Magnus came up to them, managing to shake the voiced out of his head. He had obviously missed a lot, but it was enough. The zoroark was trying to persuade the pikachu to join the scouting team

"We still need power. We need somebody rash to lead, or to fight with us. I have no idea what your reason is to decline whatsoever, so don't bother explaining if you decline but...keep in mind that...what if those strange aliens have some machine to revive the dead? What if they have secrets? What if.....what if they have something we always desired," What was her secret? She was obviously hinting something "But I'm just a rash, stupid pikachu. If you were able to discover me, then anyone else can." The pikachu was a few meters away, back turned, but his ears were pointed to hear what she had to say.

Magnus agreed with this, and also called to the pikachu "She's right, we need a strong team, made up of strong willed pokemon. We need as many as we can get, and if you go separately, both of our groups become weaker. Divide and conquer." He couldn't remember where he heard the term, but it had sprung to mind. "Perhaps, if we go as a team, we could implement your ideas. I think I agree with you... But we need to stay together."
