How would you describe your typical appearance?:
Literally dirty blonde hair with amber brown eyes. His jaw is strong and it seems his nose would have been straight and delicate, but a raised bridge indicates it has been broken before. His hair is unkept and often covers his eyes. Short on his neck, but long on the top, covering his ears and providing him bangs. His skin is a pale white that tans very easily, but seems darker than it really is due to the dirt and grease caked on him. His youth gives his face a typical soft femininity, but patchy facial hair is starting to grow. Although, he hates the hair and prefers to constantly keep a close shave. His eyebrows are often knitted in a thoughtful scowl. His body is lean due to his age, but hard labor has earned him toned muscles. His hands are already calloused and littered with cuts lined with dirt.

What's your Personality?:
Usually quiet, he doesn't speak to friends nor family and doesn't act out at celebrations. He figures it's not his place to speak because of his worker status earned from his worker family. He stands tall and moves slowly, as if he's careful and alert about everything he does. He values the law and tries to abide by it the best he can. He's very deft with his hands, skills earned by metalworking in factories. Although very shut-in, his actions when around others depict him as kind and sharing, and especially courteous to ladies and women. Although he seems so surefire on the outside, he often struggles with himself what's most important to him: money and work, family, the law, or himself and his own strength. This sometimes makes him hesitant about where to go next in life and in most decisions in general.

Although, when he does speak, it's usually few words and thick with Sevish (Irish) accent.

Please transcribe (briefly) about your life history:
Originally born to a poor worker family in the Sevii Islands, it was a quiet life between his father, mother and younger sister. Because of the need of money to survive, instead of registering for a Pokemon as soon as was available Red was put to work at his father's factory to support the family. Red was required to work in metal working factory since he was 14. Hoping for a better future for their son, his mother and father put in a request to put him on the next shipment of immigrants to Unova. After rejection, his parents arranged for him to sneak upon a metal barge headed for the same destination. About half way through the journey, he was found by one of the seamen. Due to his silent and innocent nature and the well-known condition of the working class of the Sevish, they took pity on him and continued their journey to Unova without reporting him to the authorities.

In the Sevii Islands, Red never had a real relationship with a Pokemon, nor been around any types other than large, burly (what in modern time would be called) Rock, Steel and Fighting Pokemon. Every interaction with a Pokemon would be at the factory, and always just business. His family didn't take their Pokemon home because while they stayed at the factory they were fed a great deal more than what his family could afford. Red was never mistreated by the Pokemon, and Red never thought of himself any higher than the hard-working individuals around him. If anything he considered them comrades.

However he'd never imagined himself having any Pokemon other than one proficient at laboring in factories.

What is your life Aspiration?:
Red's natural gift with working with metal has earned him a hobby of working on automobiles. Although the automobile age is booming and there's potential money to be made, Red doesn't feel it would be a stable enough cashflow and doubts his potential. His parents sent him to Unova hoping for him to be successful and for him to have a life of his own, but Red made a silent promise to himself and them to one day have enough money to provide them a life of luxury either in Unova or their homeland on the Sevii Islands. He figures the only real money to be made is in battling, unfortunately which he's not fond of and not very good at...

Red sat on a grungy street corner as happy, bustling people and Pokemon filled the streets. Looking up at them through his bangs, he felt like he was the only thing not moving on the entire block. Streams of life snaked past him, and he reached for his begging cup. Because of his illegal immigration, Red was afraid to approach any sort of registration table, whether for a Pokemon, residency, or a job. He hated not working for his money, but he was at a loss of what to do. Resorting to begging, he figured he'd save up enough for a Pokeball and try his hand at catching a Pokemon to begin training to begin battling for money. Reaching for his cup, the tail of a nearby Ampharos whipped by, knocking what little change he had gathered into the street.

"Uhh..." Red said worriedly, attempting to cover the change from the sea of legs and scuffling feet. Some change rolled into the gutter, some kicked away, and the rest picked up by stray Meowth. Red picked up a few coins and sat back onto his curb. He sighed and rubbed his eyes with the palm of his hand.

He shivered and peered up at the sky. Harsh winter clouds gathered above, threatening with snow. The cold and dark ushered people into their homes and Pokemon into their nestled houses. Through a window Red saw a couple and their Pokemon huddled together, warm and content. Red shivered again, but found himself with a grin. He was happy for them.

How would you describe your Pokemon's typical appearance?:
Small for an Eevee due to malnutrition, but typically small due to age. A chunk of her left ear is missing near the tip. Along her back there are streaks of black which from a distance looks natural, but upon closer inspection they're blotches of grease from running under vehicles. The nape of her mane and her tail is thick and matted. On her hind leg there's a rather nasty burn mark that hasn't quite healed yet. She has a habit of biting at it, which won't let it heal properly.

However, after Red takes ownership of her her appearance takes a turn for the better.

What's your Pokemon's Personality?:
Rather mistrusting, she voices her displeasure often and without restraint. Because of her lightweight frame, she easily bounces around from place to place and can easily scale a person, which later on she does often to Red. She hates baths because the warm water stings her injuries, and will squirm to her best extent to get out of one. Unfortunately because of her lack of nutrition she's physically weak, and can only participate in activities in short bursts. When she's alone she's very quiet, and relaxes her body in exhaustion, causing her to drag. However, when around others she's boisterous and poofs up to seem bigger. She's easily jealous and screeches at other Pokemon around Red, and other females as well.

@Hatefarron- You're pretty good for a first-time roleplayer! Consiter yourself Accepted, leaving [9] spots left for others.

I can see Red becoming a pretty deep character if you handle him carefully. Make sure not to make him a Gary-Stu, though. I could see that happening if he's not used properly.

But overall, lovely SU. But here are some notes to keep in mind:

a. The term "Sevish" is to describe people of the Ireland-like Sevii Islands, the actual place itself is not "Sevish." Eg: "Red is a native of the Sevii Islands, making him Sevish."

b. When you're writing, remember to format correctly so your piece looks nice and is easily followed. Eg:

I'll try not to make Red too bland, and I know having him start with an Eevee certainly doesn't help XD But I'm sure after a few posts I'll get into my groove and learn from others how to have a successful RP!

How would you describe your typical appearance?:
He is of Johtan ethnicity, and is fairly light in skin tone. Looking to his face, he has big, amber eyes that give out vibes of innocence and almost nauseating cuteness. His nose is slightly bigger than average, and is sharp and pointy (although not curvy, it's a straight line slope. It only curves when it ends.)His mouth is somewhat smaller than average, and with Witthoefft always seeming to be in a happy disposition, he always seems to be smiling. He seems to have a natural line of blush going along his face like this: Click Here. He wears thick-rimmed black glasses for long distance vision problems. Moving on, he stands at 6"4 feet tall and doesn't look like a body-builder, yet appears to be very athletic with excellently toned muscles. He has moonlight black hair, and a lot of hair at that. This is one fuzzy dude. The hair on top of his head his long and plentiful, and has a disheveled appearance. He usually wears the back end in a ponytail, laced with some brown string. He also is like a gorilla with his body hair, awkwardly having it grow all over his body, legs, back, shoulders, etc. His copious body hair isn't too long, but is unattended and has that "O'Natural" look about it.

In the clothing department (finally), Witthoefft wears a white-zippered reddish orange-and-black tiger striped hooded canvas sweatshirt with a short-sleeved black T-shirt underneath. The hood on the sweatshirt is like one on a parka, having snow white – fake – fur. The rectangle cuffs of his sweatshirt also have this white fur on them for good measure. He leaves the sweatshirt slightly open in a V-Neck fashion when he's not wearing the hood, but by instinct zips the sweatshirt all the way when he does. For pants, he wears ripped light black denim shorts (the rips worn out to show white) that reach down to slightly above his knees. For shoes, he wears roughed-up white running shoes.

In the "accessory" department, he wears several cheap string and bead bracelets on his wrists that are usually hidden from view. Not to say he totally isn't up for pulling up his sleeves and telling you the history each freaking one individually.

What's your Personality?:
Witthoefft is usually kind and easygoing, but has a high capacity for anger and rage.

At first glance, Witthoefft is a highly sociable and almost too kind of person. He always flatters and complements others, wanting to make them feel comfortable and welcome, and is always considerate. Charming is an understatement. His mannerisms are "cute", and he displays all kinds of quirky behaviors that anyone could find adorable. He is also highly resourceful in every sense of the word (constantly using it in his everyday life.) He's also quite outspoken with his ideas, ideals, and opinions and he is always the one up for stopping a "bad" cause. He takes care of his outside appearance too, making sure he likes what he's wearing, it looks good, and it says something about himself.

However, there is a darker side of the coin. When he is pushed over the edge (which is fairly easy to do, in some respect), he has fits of blind anger where he is defensive, belligerent, and adamant about whatever he's arguing about. He will yell and not care who hears, and verbally assault others until they submit. To calm himself, he will have to channel all of his frustration physically, because verbal thrashing doesn't satisfy anymore. He will exercise, occasionally to the point of near exhaustion if he's really steamed. Years of releasing rage like this and school sports are to blame for his stellar physique. To get angry, someone must challenge an opinion of his. Not to say he will burst from the get-go, but if you say something, he will comment his own ideal. If you begin to debate, he will increasingly become more and more angry. He also tends to be moody when he's faced with problems that he can't pin one definite answer on, especially concerning Pokémon.

He tends to be truly close to Pokémon as a whole. The opinion he holds for Pokémon is that they can do no wrong. They are all innocent creatures to him. He doesn't particularly like battling them, but seeing as it's a must for being a trainer, he makes sure wild Pokémon aren't too hurt and that the opposite team can receive medical treatment forthwith. Even if he has to do it himself! He is sweet and nurturing to Pokémon, making sure they get everything they need and that they are free spirits to do whatever they want. He constantly grooms and tends to his Pokémon – "motherly" would be a great word to describe his attitude towards the Pocket Monster race.

Witthoefft grew up in his home country of Johto with his mother and four siblings, his father being absent on account of being a soldier in the Great War and dying. They were a bit poor, Witthoefft having to pick up a job at a young age to purchase the extra things he wanted. He was pretty distant to his brothers Cal, Rodolfo, and Octavius and his sister Cosmo.

Everywhere he went (especially at school,) Witthoefft was always one to stick out in a crowd, whether it be from his appearance or kindness. It also helped that he was extremely social, joining a lot of clubs (mainly activist groups.) Due to his niceness and just general "feel-good" vibe, he was very easy to befriend and had many friends and acquaintances as a result. He was also very much known for his craziness about Pokémon, because whenever you got him started on something, it was always "helping Pokémon" this and "Pokémon Rights" that. Sadly, his mother didn't allow him to own one.

His family life wasn't as superb as his social life, however. Everything was rough in his childhood, sure, but when he turned eleven, he found himself alone with his mother; Cal being married and in his own home, Rodolfo and Octavius working in the next town over at a large factory where they lodged, and Cosmo…. simply gone after running away one night. His mother was an alcoholic you see, and physically abused Witthoefft in her drunkenness whenever she got mad at him. His only escape was with Pokémon that lived near his house and city. He made a vow never to hurt Pokémon like his mother did onto him, and always treat them with respect and give them freedom. Pokémon can do no wrong in his eyes. Right when he was old enough, he got a job to make money for school trips, clothes, and activities with friends, but also so he didn't have to be at home.

Now that he's finished with school, he immediately took the choice to leave home to start a journey with his own Pokémon and leave that monster of a mother behind. He slipped away, just like his sister did, and hitchhiked on the next boat to Unova, the land of opportunity.

What is your life Aspiration?:
Primarily a Coordinator/Breeder- He will battle a gym if he and his Pokémon want to, but Contests are more fun and safer alternative.

How would you describe your typical appearance?:
Errol is a South-West Kantonian at its finest, with his dark eyes, dark hair, tanned skinned and hispanic kind of look (think Wales). He's probably about 180ish centimeters tall, or 5'11" and isn't fat, nor is he skinny. His hair is quite all over the place, being long but a little greasy so he can get it to sit up a little on its own (not that he tries, all he does really is run his fingers through it to create some kind of fringe which slides to the right. His right.). His eyes are quite round and alert, though are probably open for too long, with the faint shadows under them. He's got a little bit of facial hair, a light goatee with stubble, and piercings - oh, the piercings! A small, 8mm stretcher in his left ear, two piercings in his right on the lobe, plus an ear cuff on the right and a piercing up top on the left, one on his right eyebrow and one on the right side of his lip. Thanks to his "jazz star" phase when he was a teenager, he thought some holes in his face would make him more popular. It didn't really work.

Body wise, Errol is quite lean and muscly from tri-weekly exercising (usually bike riding or running) since he needs to be somewhat fit as a courier. He's not body builder muscly, just enough so to have a faint looking six pack if he was to take his shirt(s) off. He wears the usual garments of the era; sweater, tie, shirt and trouser combo. He wears darker colours usually, maybe dark browns or (dark) greys or blacks. He might wear a hat if he's out and about but he likes his hair too much to put some kind of hat hair mould on it.

Errol is also known to carry a guitar in a case on his back.

What's your Personality?:
He's an aloof kind of guy, Errol is. When people talk, he'd rather sit and listen (or pretend to) rather than get his own word in. He's no leader, being told to do work rather than telling others is more his thing. That being said, Errol lives alone and likes it like that; he's been independent and supported himself since he moved out when he was seventeen. At first, it was with a group of people he called his friends but as soon as work got busier and he was making more money, he moved to a crappy flat by himself. It's not that Errol hates people, it's that he would rather do things by himself. He doesn't like to get involved in things, though curiosity can get the better of him and it's not long until something or someone drags him into the fray.

Errol has a number of hobbies, the main one being music. He can play a number of instruments (self taught) but his favourites and the ones that he can play the best are guitar, bass guitar and drums. He could never afford them, instead buying crappy brandings, getting old ones from the dump or making his own. He also enjoys a bit of running around, something like pre-modern parkour (to help his courier-ing as well, though he does have a bike).

In a fight or flight situation, Errol would be one to fight, though not right away. Errol needs a minute to understand the situation before he commits himself to a fight.

Errol was born in Viridian City in Kanto to a pair of very young lovers and trainers (he was eighteen, she was seventeen) who were too young to properly support themselves, let alone a baby. He was an only child and was only very young, about four or five, when his mother was taken from him. She died from a strange case of the flu, and when she thought she was fine and could just sleep it off, she would not wake when the sun rose the next morning. It was all so sudden and they were not prepared for the lack of finances that followed her. When Errol's father couldn't cope, they moved for a fresh start. To Unova.

After selling his mother's Pokémon, leaving behind her Cinccino (her first and favourite) and his own par his Chatot, they had just enough money to rent a tiny ware/house in Nacrene City. They both lived there (until Errol moved out), Errol getting into his courier business to help his father pay rent. He went to barely went to school, only turning up when he felt like it, and didn't even graduate, but he didn't really care. As soon as school was past him, he moved out with a bunch of people he called his friends, and then moved out to a crappy house by himself in Nuvema Town when he got the chance.

Now, no longer able to pay rent on his shack, Errol has decided to go on the typical trainer challenge. His father always said it was an experience that every young boy needed to do.

What is your life Aspiration?:
Errol doesn't care much, he would become what he becomes. Though, if he had to choose, it would be maybe a travelling trainer, a musician in a band or perhaps a gym leader? Contests are a little too 'girly' for him and probably expensive, though he might participate in a Cool contest if he had a supportive friend with him. His job as a courier is only 'temporary'.

I feel I am done now. I may come back and make things more organized or re-elaborate a few parts to make it sound clearer, but mostly I am done now...

How would you describe your typical appearance?:
Dan is a very short Vietnamese child who stands at five foot two. He isn't too pleasant too look at in his opinion. He has black hair and brown eyes. His eyes are framed by thin tanish brown glasses. He isn't completely pale or tan, but when in the right lighting his skin becomes a very odd shade of yellow. (Something very common to those who have "Asian" roots…) He, however, wishes to have a perfect complexion as he has tan lines that are very noticeable if he were to strip… Dan, depending on the time of year, grows to have pimples on his back, which utterly disgusts him. He has almost pointy, like, elf ears, and he has a skinny build, according to all his relatives anyway.

Dan usually wears his grey beanie, he wears t-shirts that has some very "funny" or an interesting saying on, dark jeans, and some odd pear of dark sneakers. He doesn't really know how to manage a backpack because eventually it'll get way too full and it become a nuisance to carry around, which is why he prefers to have messenger bags.

What's your Personality?:
Dan is a person who really doesn't know much about himself. He doesn't tolerate bullying and 60% of the time he can't understand punch lines of jokes. He dislikes it when people use perfectly appropriate words of the English language and use them as every day slang words. He especially despises when people use "gay" to describe objects, situations, or just use it incorrectly in general. As one could probably tell, he gets very angered and annoyed easily, but he is slowly learning how to control his anger and annoyance so he won't lash out. Dan is stubborn when it comes to being mad and can hold an unhealthy grudge for a long time. Dan, at times, can be very paranoid as well. At times he is sarcastic, well he tries too anyway. He is also a bit socially awkward. Not that he is depressed because he isn't depressed. He just has a hard time thinking about what to talk about. This is the main reason why, he enjoys talking to very social people; however, his mental thoughts and tidbits are much more active than he is in real physical conversation. He at times will also talk to himself or think aloud, something he picked up from his brother, which he finds highly embarrassing. Dan is a man who isn't entirely sure what his abilities are. He often underestimates himself and it saddens him that he hasn't found his calling yet...

Dan can work with details as he is a writer of sorts. He goes from forum to forum posting his works and even posted some on fanfiction.net getting mixed reviews. Talking about the internet, he seems more comfortable talking on forums where no one knows who he really is. Dan is a hard worker and can do many things if he puts his mind to it; however, what brings him down is that at times he gives up or he is to afraid to take a chance, most likely the latter.

Dan has South Eastern blood running through his veins. He was born to a very loving mother and father, both of whom escaped their home country. He is the youngest of two children, the oldest being his brother, who aspires to be a nurse. He was a brat when he was a child, had many temper tantrums, blew up at people for no reason, and cried often. As a child he was always interested in many things and activities, but he quit after he found them too hard, a trait he still has now to a lesser extent. He was born in Misaltron City, but when he got together with his current boyfriend, Remy, they fled as both of their families were homophobes. Most of Dan's family thought being gay was a sickness while Remy's family thought it was a sin. They fled to Straiton City, where they settled down.

Lately; however, they have been having problems as they began to argue more. They loved each other yes, but they just couldn't stop arguing. They had decided to take a break to grow as separate individuals first. To fulfill this, Dan has decided to become a "trainer", something he missed out on when he was a child. After they have both felt they grew up enough, they promised to get a marriage license together.

What is your life Aspiration?:
He isn't entirely sure. He never really knew what he wanted to do or aspired to be. He hopes that traveling around will give him experience and insight to help him decide. However, he seems somewhat interested in contests and gym battles.

@First Snow - I like your SU, but I'm placing you on our Pending list.

Why:

1. I get that he doesn't know himself all that well yet, and he's got a pretty good personality now, but I'd like you to go in a bit more deeper. Just a tad more to really make him unique.

2. gurl git wit da tymez. This RP takes place during the 1920s, where modern-day fashion was fancy suits and working-class drab instead of a beanie and jeans. Not that I'm against weird appearances (just look at my character) but you're going to need a good reason to back up his other-wordly apperance. (Like how mine dresses like he does because it expresses his individuality.)

And things like interwebz had yet to be invented. And no your character can't be a time traveler.

Gay Marriage was not a thing either, so there was no way they could recieve a marriage liscense. Society might be more tolerant and accepting than it was back in the 1890s-1910s, but again, the 1920s weren't exactly like today. I'm not saying you can't have a gay character (of course not! Mine is, too.) just be aware of the social standing of this time. I mean, women just got their voting and working rights!

So you're going to have to edit your SU to make it time-appropriate. VM me or post in this thread when you do. :3

@First Snow - I like your SU, but I'm placing you on our Pending list.

Why:

1. I get that he doesn't know himself all that well yet, and he's got a pretty good personality now, but I'd like you to go in a bit more deeper. Just a tad more to really make him unique.

2. gurl git wit da tymez. This RP takes place during the 1920s, where modern-day fashion was fancy suits and working-class drab instead of a beanie and jeans. Not that I'm against weird appearances (just look at my character) but you're going to need a good reason to back up his other-wordly apperance. (Like how mine dresses like he does because it expresses his individuality.)

And things like interwebz had yet to be invented. And no your character can't be a time traveler.

Gay Marriage was not a thing either, so there was no way they could recieve a marriage liscense. Society might be more tolerant and accepting than it was back in the 1890s-1910s, but again, the 1920s weren't exactly like today. I'm not saying you can't have a gay character (of course not! mine is, too) just be aware of the social standing of this time. I mean, women just got their voting and working rights!

So you're going to have to edit your SU to make it time-appropriate. VM me or post in this thread when you do. :3

Oh. I thought there was some kind of time skip. Sorry, didn't think it was still in the Industrial era. I'll fix it when I get the chance.

Edit: Never mind, I would like for you to drop my SU. I don't think I could adapt to the time change. The Industrial Revolution wasn't really ever my thing.

Are you known by any nicknames?: Ed, the "King"

Current Age?: 18

Gender?: Male

How would you describe your typical appearance?: Being of Unovian descent, Ed has the same ethnicity as well. This means he is Caucasian, although a bit tanner than usual. His hair is a dirty-blond and he is always switching different hairstyles. His recent one, an emo kind of look (well just a bit), is a semi-short style with his bangs hanging over his right eye, sometimes covering it from view. His face is sorta angular from the cheekbones down and roundish at the top (Like most Unovians). His eyes are a reddish shade of brown, making them look a bit like a mahogany color which seem to draw most of a person's focus. His nose straight only curling where it hits the nostrils and into the rest of his face. His teeth are slightly misplaced though not to a show-able amount. He stands at 6"2' making him seem quite tall. His build is slightly normal, if not a bit athletic giving him visible abs and muscles. He occasionally has a small stubble, though he does try and shave often.

In clothes, Ed tends to where a simple white (or occasionally black) T-shirt, though he will wear a tuxedo and tie for more "social" events. Along with that, he tends to have either nice trousers for the social events stated above and usually indigo Levi jeans for his adventure like travels.. He also switches between nice tennis/running shoes and dress shoes. As well as these, Ed also wears a nice necklace showing a fearless rune. This helps him bring up his courage as it was left to him by his parents.

What's your Personality?: Edmund is one of those calm, laid back guys. Usually, no matter the situation, he'll be the calm one in a situation. He tends to be quite caring around people, friends, and Pokemon. If anyone or anything would try to hurt someone intentionally (or accidentally) he'll be one of those people who will jump into the fray to save them. He sorta got that part of him from his family of Rangers, who were always protecting Pokemon.

He is also one of those young adults who try and be the most charming as he can be. This tends to show him as one of the romantic sort, as in, he always tends to have some good manners as well hitting on the occasional girl.

Even though he is laid back and all, he is never one to put back their feelings. He'll be the one that would speak out and give his thoughts on something. He never likes to have nothing to do either. If you told him he had a choice between an adventure for half a million dollars or staying put for one million, he would choose the first choice.
Please transcribe (briefly) about your life history: Edmund was born into a family of Pokemon Rangers close to the desert in the center of Unova. In his family were his parents, the rangers, and his older sister Eliza. It was a sort of eventful life. His family grew close to Pokemon seeing them as both equals and friends.

He was always helping his parents with work around the area and occasionally into the Relic Castle, but only when not at school. He befriended many Pokemon while he was their including his parent's herd of Ponyta and Rapidash,one of their main ways of transportation to the school in Castelia. At school, Ed was usually one of the kids who were always in the higher classes as he excelled at nearly everything Pokemon. Being apart of that upper class, he knew that he wanted to do with his life when he was older and well, that was nearly everything and anything with Pokemon!

Although exciting, his life was also sort of easy and felt like it was always missing something. His sister left when he turned seventeen to go move in with her new husband and start a family and he was left alone without anyone he could really relate too. His parents were there but only barely as their Ranger business had started to be a bit more needy with the rise of the Harmonia mob that went from simply selling illegal MooMoo Milk to even more.

Unfortunately, he kinda hated not having anything to do and decided he would leave when he was eighteen. His parents gave him their approval and when he finally was of age, he left to sign up for the Pokemon League.

What is your life Aspiration?: Ed isn't to sure about this but in his mind he dreams of being a pro battler, with a bit of dabbles into coordination and being a Pokemon Ranger.

I would be careful about the whole T-Shirt/Jeans combo like I said with First Snow. Of course Jeans were there (and so were T-Shirts) but it wasn't the "thing" back then, so you going to need the ever so nice exuse. (Lazy, doesn't care about apperance, like the easy feel, angst, etc....) In fact, it wasn't until the 50's when they became popular fashion. But they were originally for cowboys if that jogs your creativity.

Oh! And can you pick a different starter? I already got Skymin on reserve for a dratini. X3;

I like Ed, but I feel his personality is a bit too brief and undeveloped.

I got this:
  • He's calm and usually laid back, but very caring at heart, springing into action when someone/something in need.
  • Bit of a charmer and romantic (oui oui oui mon ami)
  • Belligerant when all else fails.
Eh.... I want some more meat in there. I also see that last trait a bit too dissimilar to the rest of him. Someone who's a calm problem solver doesn't freak the second Plan A fails without good reason. Of course people have complexity to them, so both those traits could co-exist, but they need to flow better. Reasons for each other and how they transisition. So, I want you to develop him a bit more.

Also, with the history:

Why couldn't he "take it?" Is he clingy or....? This is a good opportunity to expand the personality.

I really want to accept you and the rest of the SU is good, but I want you to just edit him a little so he has more of a unique personality that makes sense and flows. Remember, characters can't be everything. Calm guys don't asplode usually. It takes a lot. Step out of what you want the character to be, too- you might find your mind has some good ideas of its own for them that might make him more intriguing to play.

Also red and indigo do not go together what are you thinking gurlfrand.

Now, now, it's not nice to ask a lady's age. (It's nineteen.)

*sigh* Unfortunately I am a man in the most physical of senses. Believe me dearie, if there was a way to change myself, I would have become a woman years ago!

How would you describe your typical appearance?

I am painfully short for a man, 5'5" and cursed with a terrible muscle build, slender and relatively suited for kicking. For a beauty such as myself however, it is absolutely perfect. My hair is uncommonly short, brown locks straightened like a bob, a flapper cut. Do wish it was longer but... I wear no hats, except when a man plants one upon my head. I do not like them very much even then. My skin is unfortunately rather pale, a curse no one can fix but time. I do wear a small amount of blush and keep my disdain toward my nose freckles to myself. My eyes are brown, a small amber tinge in them as well according to Sion. I'm not known for looking in the mirror. Thankfully, I do keep clean-shaven. It is a bit of a hazard not to.

My clothes are a bit old-fashioned, what with my deep blue plaited skirt reaching all the way to my ankles and all. I know girls like it shorter but just a bit of modesty don't hurt anybody now do it? My log-sleeved blouse is a paler blue and embroidered with lace. I also wear penny loafers. I'm afraid my meager salary does not afford anything else.

What's your Personality?

Oh, sweetie don't make me brag! Actually please do, it's so much fun! I'm a flirt, a proud one at that. I love it, bringing people up and bringing them down. That's not too nice I know but watching people change from emotion to emotion is just so interesting. Not much does interest me though. I need the new, the exciting, the flashy to get me going! Oh, except for Sion. If he never changes I'll be a happy woman. Ah, I might wish to add it takes a rare bit of magic to get me angry. Even when you do something you shouldn't I'll mock you until the end of time, haha! But as always Sion is my exception. Don't you touch her. She belongs to me, possessive little me ahaha.

I am of the curious sort, always wanting to know, to experience. It has gotten me into trouble all the time. Oh well, it's just a few bruises. My skin will heal and look more flawless than ever~ Yes I am quite vain but what girl isn't now? It takes something special to make me beg I will tell you that. When you do that though, beware, there are consequences. Hehe! I'll leave that to your imagination.

Pokemon? Honey how am I supposed to know? I never had one before. I suppose they make good pets and companions. I will just have to see. You should see Sion though, she wants one so bad... but I'm rambling aren't I? It's a bad habit over her, really. Ahaha...

In truth compared to myself the story is not all that glorious. I am a Kantonian, born in Saffron supposedly to a street woman. I have no idea how true that is as well, she ain't around no mo' as my old mates at the diner used to tell me. I have no clue who my papa is either and it's never been a concern of mine. I've had Mr. Adrian and to me that's enough, even though he's always been rather... neutral towards my decisions. I suppose it's quite preferable over the alternative. My life was not particularly interesting as I've said. There were no cliched romances or exciting events-or they weren't to me but it takes a great deal to excite me-.

I've been working at the diner since I was able to take orders and walk. I always appeared as a waitress however, much to the chagrin of Mr. Adrian. It was worse with the comedy. Darling, you don't know what kind of things you could pick up at a table besides tips. I preferred feminine things even then, always have. However, since few people could tell the difference I was able to live unchanged. I never owned a Pokemon, due to them not being allowed where I lived. Yes I know, shocking. Don't worry sweetie, the tale gets a bit better.

I met Sion one night on the job, her sitting pretty in a dress that I could see she clearly hated. Even I couldn't blame her, the lace had to itch. Was it love at first sight? Honey you've been reading too many novels. That just don't happen. Instead it was much later, with her family still frequenting our "cheap wares" or some such over the meal. Then well, she stopped coming at all. I was rather saddened by this; she gave me more material in an hour (and more methods) than I got from the young flirts. Then again, they were rather annoying.

A year ago, Mr. Adrian sent me out of the house, not out of hatred or anything so dramatic, but, as he said, I needed to make more of myself than a diner gal. Supposing he was right, and that the Great War was over, I figured it best to journey to Unova. I mean why not? All the opportunities, the men, the Pokemon... I can go on couldn't I? Meeting Sion was either lucky coincidence or amazing timing because I found her there, working up money to earn a Pokemon. I agreed to split rent on her house because really, what was an easier deal?

See what did I tell you? Not a big deal sweet heart. I got off lucky.

What is your life Aspiration?

Professional Hitman I admit I enjoy a good dance but battle feels rather... intriguing. I can't stay in comedy forever after all.

So instead o getting angry she'll mock you instead, taking everything with levity? This was a tad confusing for me when reading. Did I get it right?

BUT nevertheless, you and your character are certainly Accepted.
