    ​

    Take home tests, in class tests,​
    Book reports, classroom notes.​
    English, Latin, Calculus,​
    and Government Political Votes.​


    Why can't I do this?​
    Why does it evade me?​
    Despite all the dates,​
    They cannot persuade me.​


    Late assignment, forgotten assignments,​
    Parents PO'ed for not getting it done.​
    But they don't understand how hard it is​
    taking three AP classes in one.​


    Gotta pull it together 'cause I'm coming up short.​
    At this rate a college would never want me​
    And if I don't go to college, then where I am​
    Will be oh so far from where I want to be.​


    This work is hard but I must persevere,​
    For if I don't I'm bound to fail.​
     
    This one relates to me so much. XD I am a very good student, but I'm constantly worried that the college I wish to go to will never take me in. XD This poem shows how many teenagers feel in their school-life. They feel swamped with homework. A lot of them do the very best they can but it just doesn't seem to be enough sometimes. I think this poem was very well done. Great work Pogi! ^____^
