It all started for me back in the day with Blue version In my Blue GameBoy!

Then still playing all the 1st Gens in my Purple Gameboy colour

R/S/E/FR/LG in my clear purple GBA

Then my trusty Wifi black DS lite

I bought a 3DS but I dont like it as much as my DS lite, its too heavy and flimsy and also the colours dont look as good

And I have one of these stashed away for a raing day

What do you play on?

Now, I play my Pokemon Games on my DS lite. Back when I was little, I used to play Gen I and Gen II (RBY,GSC) on my green gameboy colour. I've still got it, if you're wondering maaan, so many good memories with it. <33

Well currently, I play any game from the first three generations on my red Gameboy Advance SP, because the screen lights up, and my hands have the feel for it. And for all others (4th and 5th) I use my 3DS because it is the latest and greatest.

Up toPokémon silver i Played the games on the good old cookie box, Game boy classic , which we (my family) had since christmas 1990 as we got them (two with 2 tetris)as a present from my grand aunt :)
When crystal came along I got a low price (it was sensationally low in a proper game shop) a turquoise gameboy colour. only had one tiny scratch not even on the black part of the display cover. and I sold it ( ;_; ) and got myself a gba from ebay, i didnt see that it was the most scratched thing ever seen. I still got it but by the force this thing looked like it had plenty of time on the beach as it looked like the display had faced sandpaper ... also the button and speaker was full of sand, managed to celan it from the button and the slots, but you can still the the sandiness on the speakers lol.

sometime later I got myself a white nintendo ds which I lsot unfortunately (it was awesome, I loved it being white and so) I bought a dark blue/black one, which could never take the place of the original white one (as the white one just looked so much better)
anyway thats where i stand currently.

I do have a 3DS which I use 3DS games for mainly.. but I usually play on my Turquoise Nintendo DS Lite. I use the R4 for hacks for the DS but I have the originals of all the DS games too.

I play Crystal on my lime green GBC all the time.

(I suck at photos)
Same one as mine, it's upstairs except yours is in a much better condition than mine considering mine is from 1999.

Right now, just my blue DS Lite. In the past I've had a DS Phat (currently owned by my brother who somehow got it working again xD), one of those purple GBA's, then before that a purple GBC.

Started with R/B/Y on my GBC. Continued using it with my G/S/C. Then moved onto the GBA with R/S. I then somehow got an SP, so I played Emerald on it. Then I got a DS for D/P/P.

And currently, I have a DS Lite and play my Heartgold/White on it.

I currently play Black and my 4th Generation games on my Ice Blue DS Lite.

I might upgrade to a 3DS in the future.

I'd like to hear some other's opinion's on the 3DS. Assuming you've had the previous systems in the past. I have stated before I prefer my DS lite to the 3DS because of the colours on the screen, loading time and the feel of it in my hands (Heavy and flimsy) on the plus side though I like the new toggle/joystick button.

Game Boy Colour for Silver and Crystal, DS lite for the DS and GBA games. ATM I use my 3DS now for the DS games, seeing it's the best system I have atm (what with a broken DS Lite hinge and all too -_-).

Game Boy Pocket for Blue version, Game Boy Colour for Gold (as well as sometimes Blue), Game Boy Advance/SP for Sapphire and then DS Lite for Black. Because my handheld gaming revolved mainly around Pokemon, I'd tend to get the next iteration of the Game Boy/DS whenever a new Pokemon game was about to come out. Thinking about it now, it seems very wasteful... but I was young and naive all those years ago. :P
