Project Milennium: Search for the Eighth Dragon (T)

ProCon Industries:
A small company hidden in southern England. It creates useful technology some of which is dispensed into the world to be used by average people in their common, everyday life. Other items are only given on special order. However, many things that they are presumably working on are kept hidden from public, and sometimes employees stay there for nights in a row perfecting these unknown projects. Other times Workers disappear only to reappear two weeks later. Some people suspect that these top-secret projects are bad news. Others argue that they are creating the most revolutionizing piece of technology to top all others. What do you think?

X-Plo co.:
Like ProCon, it is also hidden within the trees of Washington, US. However, this company makes little of this for public use. Most of this technology is made for the industry itself. This is used to explore the unknown parts of the world. Although they make little technology for the public's use, they do regularly make some surprising ancient and natural discoveries throughout the world. However, they have been known to come back from costly trips with no evidence whatsoever, and when ask about it they deny ever going. Again, some believe they are planning suspicious plot and covering it up with other discoveries. And again, some believe they just found nothing. Who do you believe?

History:
Before humans came to conquer the world, dragons ruled. Dragons, the purest beings ever known to anything, watched over this world. Each dragon reigned over an element. Each dragon relied on its element and each element on its dragon. With this system of dragons, earth thrived with elements from around the universe. It became a haven, a sanctuary. It was as pure as pure could be, and peace and happiness was be intwined with every fiber of everything on the planet, they would be impossible to tear out. For several millennium, everything was as good as it could be.
However, one day a new being was made. It was given the name Man by his patron dragons. It was created from blood, flesh, mind, and potential, but its heart was not completed before it was released to the world. At first, it was given grief by the fact it didn't have four legs, but its hands made up for that. It could create from anything it was given. However, it was a poor match for other things in the world. Feeling pity, its creators protected and helped it. Soon there were villages of these beings, called mankind. In groups, they stood better against other animals, but still overprotecting their creation, the dragons helped them on. Only centuries later did they realize what they had done. Mankind, now leaving and settling outside of Africa, their birthplace, they had began to do the impossible. Already mankind had begun to weave out the peace and balance from the earth. They had drove several species and even some elements to extinction. Now knowing what they must do, the dragons set out to remove mankind from this once perfect planet. However, by now the humans were dominant to every other species on earth, and had created evil weapons of sharp, heavy metal which they grasped in their bizarre hands. With these demonic weapons they were able to slay the beasts that had brought them into existence. With each withered dragon, an element of earth died. The dragons tried to recreate these elements, bestowing remaining dragons with abilities similar, but not the same, to the deceased. The peace and balance evaporating as fast as ever from the earth, it began to fall apart, until the world was at the point of destruction. The dragons, myth tells of seven remaining, ceased their attacks. If any other dragon fell it would be certain death for the once utopia of a planet. These survivors became known as the divine dragonsMankind continued their doings, but the dragons were helpless. The remaining hid across the globe, resting and building up strength so the earth was less fragile. Eventually the world dominated by mankind forgot of these dragons.

Current Events:
40 years ago: Somehow, for reasons unknown, two groups learned of these dragons and their story. With this knowledge, one of the groups decided to protect these remaining divine beings with their lives. They began to search for these dragons to further protect them from the cruel wraith of man. They began a company to find them and to create technology to protect them. One founded their company in England, the other in the western US. The other team chose to follow a path they saw to do more for these dragons. They wanted and want to use their DNA to create a deity higher than the others to destroy everything on earth. Then they will use the clean slate of an earth and the ultimate being to restore the earth to the perfection it was before mankind. They named this project Project Millennium.
25 years ago: With four of the dragons' resting places found and protected by the first group, the other had already found and extracted DNA from one other unbeknownst to the first group. So as group one searched for a fifth resting place, the second was trying to figure out how to use this DNA to create a being and also pursuing another dragon who's resting place had seemed to be protected by man-made technology.
8 years ago: One protected dragon of the five found still remained hidden from the second group. five had had some DNA samples extracted for the groups purposes. One dragon was still hidden from both groups. The Second Company had found that human bases for the divine elements worked the best. Particularly human youths. They began searching for perfect channelers for the divine elements throughout the world.
2 year ago: Six of the dragons' DNA had been extracted and was being used to mutate the children channelers. Both groups had encountered at the last dragon's resting place. With technology installed, the first's were about to leave then the second group arrived. It was a battle for the ages, and both team lost many men, but ultimately the second group secured and escaped with the final dragon's DNA. All was lost, and the protection company shut down while the other tested on these captures, panicking children. However, whenever a human tried to channel all the divine elements, it didn't end well. At the point of giving up, the group found out about an eight dragon, who supposedly was in sync with the divine element of unity. With its DNA, the company figured they could allow one man to channel all the divine elements, making him or her the deity above the divine dragons. Of this news the first group formed again at full steam.
1 month ago: A glitch in the system and foolishness upon employes allowed the channelers to escape. Some ran into the wilderness to hide from the company, and others chose to work with the company to achieve its goal. However, neither the Company, ProCon, nor the other group, X-Plo co., nor the escapees know anything but the existence of the divine dragon.

You:
You are a Channeler for one of the seven divine elements. You have either escaped from ProCon into the wilderness choosing what to do or you have stayed at ProCon to continue their experiments and to fulfill Project Millennium. Either way, it is in your best interest to learn of the location of the eight dragon weather to protect or expose it. If you are running from ProCon, you should probably find and join X-Plo or at least team up with another escaped Channeler, though you don't have to. As your name suggests, you can channel a divine element. It is very likely that this has changed your physical appearance. You also probably have a personality that reflects this element in some way too. You also have gained odd abilities from your element that you are still unfamiliar with. Throughout your journey, you will prefect these skills, whichever journey you choose.

Also, you may get some information from a little birdie via PM. It could be useful in your journey. We will start when we get enough people on each side.
