Name: Edward Trent

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Appearance: Edward Trent stands at 6 feet tall. He has slightly pale skin, not overly pale, but not tanned either. His body proportion to his height is average. He is not fat, nor is he overly athletic or super muscular. He does not have extra weight on him, nor is he anorexic. He is, simply put, average, at about 170 pounds. Edward has long, black hair, which he ties in a ponytail, and sharp, dark brown eyes. He has a thin, chin curtain beard that begins at his sideburns and extends across his jawline and meets at his completely covered chin. On his left and right wrists are a set of small tattoos of the insignia , a P with a double strikethrough, the symbol of the Pokemon Dollar. He has one on both wrists. Edward's left ear is pierced three times, with three different ring-shaped ear piercings on it.

Edward always wears dark clothing, his preferred style choice. It usually involves a set of dark pants, sometimes jeans but not always necessarily, and a black, long-sleeved shirt. If the weather is rather cold, Edward will also add in a black wool jacket.

Personality: IGNORED!!!

History
: Edward was born in Saffron City. His parents were somewhat poor, but were able to support themselves and Edward. Their jobs weren't great, but they were enough so that they could live on without much hassle, and to them, it was enough.

Unfortunately, it was not enough for Edward. It was never enough. Edward had never been comfortable with the situation of his parents. Even though many other families were in the same boat, the same situation, it didn't sit well with Edward. It wasn't that Edward was embarrassed of the financial woes of his parents, nor was he jealous of the riches of the few others. Rather, he had a strange feeling as he grew up that he needed more, as if this was not enough for him, as if it shouldn't be enough for him.

Edward was ever observant of the climate of the world around him, even as a young boy. He would make his way and attend school normally, listening to teacher prance on about learning, doing the right thing, respecting people, don't break laws. Then he would go see what happened on the streets, or on TV, or hear about the exact opposite. The contrast was interesting to Edward. Not as much frightening or confusing as it was simply interesting. The more he observed this behavior exhibited by others, the more he started to understand that what the system taught was broken. He had realized very early in his life that he could either be part of that broken style of doing what is right and wrong, or embrace what the world has truly become, and in the process, rise. Edward chose the latter. He understood that crime wasn't quite the boogyman word it used to be, and the enforcement of crime wasn't always a necessity, but now appeared to be a luxury, something hardly anyone had, or was willing to part with anymore. It was warped thinking like this that progressed in Edward and led to one of the biggest moments in his life, defining the kind of person he was to become.

It came as an 11 year old boy. Edward was never really satisfied with what he had. He knew that much, and even as society tumbled ever downward, Edward had no real part in it. He was merely a boy after all. Then one day, his class went on a field trip to the Safari Zone. Many of the children packed lunches, or left their lunch money in a specially marked area, which was locked. Edward found himself thinking about all of the money and food hidden away as the class moved around on the field trip. He ate his earlier, and wanted to go afterward to have a chance to get into the Safari Zone. However, his parents, although allowing him a chance to go on the trip, didn't have the money to pay for a Safari Zone ticket. Edward wanted to go in. He wanted to go badly. He made up his mind. He would find a way into the room with all of the money, and steal enough to get into the Safari Zone. The plan was to make a distraction for the security guard to leave his post, and take the keys from his desk once he left. Taking a bit of laxative he acquired, he managed to sneak some into the guard's coffee, and cause him...undesirable bowel movement. Edward was able to sneak in, and take the keys, and open the door to the money room. Edward grabbed the first one, and headed for the door, before he paused, and looked back, looking at all of the other bags of money. Edward realized something then. He wanted more. Edward decided to take another bag of money, and stuff it into his pocket. He then chose another, and for some reason, another. He seemed to be possessed as he acquired more and more, and never appeared to be satisfied. By the end of the day, he had managed to steal almost half of the money from the other children, and many of them never got a chance to get into the Safari Zone. Edward went four times. The rest, he saved up, and spent another day.

It was the beginning of a new life for Ed. Living under the rules of the modern 'society', if you could even call it that at this point, had become so dull. He knew that he could either run from the criminal, or learn from the criminal. Needless to say, he chose to learn, and boy, did he learn. He had very nimble fingers, and new how to use them. Edward found his appetite for...well, anything to be unquenchable. He wanted it all. It began slowly with whatever he could get as a young kid. An extra handout, a small item here, another one there, anything he could get his hands on that he could get with a five finger discount. He would often acquire things he had no use for too, but if the opportune moment arose to acquire anything material, Edward jumped on it. He would be easily swayed into doing things, especially if the end result was a reward, or money. Of course, he would never want to be limited in what he could have, including working for someone else.

As life entered his mid-teens, he was already a well-known acquirer of items of questionable legality. He would take on any job, whether for someone else, or more usually for himself. His parents were so blissfully unaware. They had no idea what a high profile thief Edward had become. Even at such a young age, Edward could rob people blind, and still he wanted more. His greed, his unquenchable thirst for goods, for money, for power too, was so demanding in his life, that one day, he stopped attending educational facilities altogether. To many, the value of good and the happiness of life had deteriorated. But to one with the skills and the moral flexibility of Edward, life was good.

Edward had one day managed to steal a PokeBall from a small lab in the city. He didn't have many personal dealings with Pokemon, but this one became different. He named the Pokemon, a Sneasel, Shadow, and looked after it. In a world with many faults, Edward became quite attached to the Pokemon, and the two became fast friends. Shadow himself became quite the thief himself.

Then one day, things changed. Edward awoke one day feeling awkward. It wasn't obvious at first, but something strange occurred with Edward's own shadow. He could understand what had happened, and still is unsure of what he saw. All he knew was that his shadow was distorted for a moment. To Edward, it must have been some sign. Edward was ever the believer in luck, and thought it had a lot to do with the successes and failures of his jobs. Skill had a lot to do with it, but Edward never abandoned luck either. He had realized his shadow change wasn't a fluke: something was happening. He didn't know what, but Edward tried to grasp what his new-found ability was all about.

When a letter from Hope High School arrived, Edward didn't hesitate for a moment to sign up. The letter said that the selections were random, but Edward knew it was far too coincidental to be random now. Something else drew him to there. Perhaps he was meant to learn about the Shadow-thing there. Or perhaps he was sent by lady luck to rob the entire place. He didn't know, but Edward packed his bags, eager to find out.

Negative Trait: Greed

Power: Shadow Manipulation/Mimicry. Essentially, Edward is able to assume the form of a shadow, and can crawl up walls and such. Edward can blend into shadows completely, or even teleport through them. His ability can flatten up against walls and impersonate the shadows of others (allowing him to sneak up on or away from foes and such). Of course, he is limited in his current abilities. He is unable to pass through shadows for teleportation, or blend in them completely either. Mostly, his abilities currently are limited to changing the shape of his own shadow slightly, and changing his appearance into a more darker, slightly 2D version to blend in darkness a bit (almost like camouflage).

I'm posting the SU here as well xD didn't see that there was an SU thread since others had posted their SUs in the main thread.

Name: Taron Yess

Gender: Female

Age: 16 (I don't really know how old you're supposed to be when you're in High School, but everyone else types in 17, so should I too?)

Appearance: Taron is a slim, rather flat and short girl with chocolate brown skin. Her hair is in afro style, but she used to spend time braiding it roughly by herself to keep it out of the way when she lived out on the streets and when she came to the orphanage, some other girls and the nice ladies there taught her to braid it more nicely. The result is that her very dark brown hair is always divided into countless small braids that are often held up in a ponytail. She's thinking of getting dreadlocks, if she could ever afford it. Her face is kind of almond shaped, with rather high cheekbones and a narrow, cute nose. Her eyes are big and dark brown, with long eyelashes. All in all, she is very cute, and although she never really thought much about appearances before she started school, she is now aware of this and tries to use it to her advantage.

It's not easy when you've been poor all your life and never gotten any real jewelry or fine clothes, though. Taron dresses rather boringly, in mostly single colored, dark things. T-shirts and tank tops and hooded sweaters are common on her, as well as jeans and plain, slim trousers. The only thing she's got in the way of jewelry are a couple of earrings that she stole from a market many years ago in the streets. She had still been very young, but some older kids in the gang had pierced her ears for her, telling her that she could only keep the jewelry if she endured the pain without screaming. She had, and those earrings in real gold are a symbol for her struggle now.

Personality: (I'll just use this to describe how Taron relates to her negative trait...)
Taron is a bit impatient and has to strain herself from speaking her mind when she thinks somebody isn't doing something in the best of ways. She strives to make the best of her situation and be independent, but along with that goes her seemingly never resting sense of jealousy. It doesn't really matter how lucky or successful she gets; she always seems to find something to want that somebody else has, or think that something was unfair. She has been told this many times and most often she hasn't been wanting to listen to the critique. But there are times when she has listened to people she really respect, and where she has been able to swallow her pride and let go of the itching feelings. She'll need to learn to let go of them much faster and deeper if she's ever to save the world.

History: (forgive me for making an orphan, really. I never usually like them, but in this setting and with her personality, it just... fits)
Taron was born, but she isn't sure where. Not that it matters, since in this world every place is just as gloomy. She did grow up, however, and has memory of it. It was in the city of Jubilife, where she and a gang of other lost children did what they could to survive. Her last name was given to her by her friends there because of her habit of replying "YESSSSS!" to any interesting action anyone suggested to take. One night, Taron and some friends watched glow-worms fly across the sky above Jubilife. Maybe they were leaving these tragic lands for someplace better? Two bugs seemed to be fighting in the air though. One of them were clearly defeated, and fell down. Taron was first to reach its crash site, a dump container. The bug, a Volbeat, seemed depressed for losing and didn't care when Taron snatched it up in her arms before any of the other kids could claim it as theirs. She nursed it back to health, happy to have found something special. The Volbeat didn't really seem thankful at first, but it started following her around and eventually started helping her out. Taron named him Benjamin.

With Benjamin's tricks, the gang became good at stealing stuff and eventually they wanted to do more than just survive. Taron was one of the fiery souls that made their gang team up with some other lost child gangs and rob the shopping mall at night. Unfortunately, the alarm sounded and many children got caught by the rough guards. Taron was lucky, she was young enough to end up at an orphanage. She even got to keep Benjamin, though the police gave her a pokéball and told her to keep him in there as often as she could. Reluctantly, Taron surprised Benjamin and captured him. It took some time before he forgave her, but since it didn't really change their relationship, he soon accepted reality.

Now, Taron learned to write and read and even do a bit of maths. But things were still just as gloomy as out on the streets. Perhaps even more so. Kids here weren't happy for getting a piece of food to eat, they weren't happy for the nice ladies at the orphanage giving them warm clothes... Taron was soon sick of it all. She strived to learn to read and write properly and was finally allowed into a real school, where she had to work hard to keep up. She wanted to do better than everyone else and to be special. She hated that the other kids in school had real families and she was jealous of them. So jealous. The nice ladies at the orphanage, who Taron actually liked and respected, rewarded her for being such a good student. Eventually she didn't look like a ruffian anymore, but like an actual girl with whole clothes. She wanted more though. She didn't have nearly as much as all the other girls in school.

When the letter from Hope High School came, Taron finally felt some kind of victory. She had been noticed. Although it said the pick of students was random... so back to her bitter feelings she went. But she accepted the offer and left the orphanage and Jubilife City behind her, taking only her most prized clothes and possessions with her. Benjamin was included there, of course.

Negative Trait: Jealousy

Power: Telekinesis. Right before Taron left for Hope High School, she had only just noticed that she could make pencils and other small things nudge or roll over or even hover, by concentrating on them. She is a bit scared of this and hasn't told anybody.

Schedule:
Homeroom
1st period: um, ok... since she was doing well in school Core 3?
2nd period: Latin
Lunch
3rd period: History/Mythology
4th period: Contests

Pokemon: Volbeat, named Benjamin or Ben for short. Male with no really unique appearance, though he'll be happy if I mention that he's a great flyer and really handsome.

Sign-Up Sheet

Name: Kieran Davis

Gender: Male

Age: Seventeen

Appearance: The first thought most people have about Kieran's appearance, is that he must be some sort of jock. To an extent, this is true. Towering over most people at six foot, two inches, and weighing over ninety kilograms, Kieran is one to pump weights and exercise, however he puts very little into these, being naturally fit contributing further to his hubris. Living near the beach has allowed Kieran to achieve what some would consider a 'perfect' tan, much better looking than his pale white natural skin. Soft, close cropped hair, almost number two all over sits on top of his head, a dark reddish brown in colour. Contrast to his hair is a pair of Heterochromatic eyes, his left being a darker green while his right is a lightish blue beneath a pair of brown eyebrows, not too thick, but not too thin either. His squarish jaw, with prominent cheek bones covered in short, spiky stubble alongside his physique gives Kieran the appearance of a high school jock, his arrogance adding further to this.

As far as clothing goes for Kieran, anything that shows of his musculature and is comfortable to move in is general what plagues his wardrobe. Long sleeved shirts are also a rarity with Kieran, as his arms are too big to fit through them, having the trouble of often ripping the fabric of the shirt sleeves. V-necked utility shirts are the most common shirts he will wear, usually in monochromatic colours, but a few having darker colours such as dark browns, dark blues and reds. On cold days, he will venture to wear jeans, but anything smaller than straight cut are too small for his legs, so most of his jeans are either boot cut or straight cut. On warmer days, he will not hesitate to wear shorts or three-quarter pants, most of them being cargo, both dark and light to alternate with his shirts; he has a little bit of fashion sense, his other shorts are usually plain and darker in colour, with a wider range of colours. His shoes look a lot like this being a cross between cross-trainers and sneakers, as if he could pelt forward into a run at any time; with ankle socks in varying colours being worn in the shoes.

As far as accessories go, Kieran tries to keep it simple. A belt with a simple belt buckle will usually sit around the top of his shorts, not to secure them from falling down, but as mere additions to his clothing. An expensive silver analogue Rolex watch sits on his left hand, a flaunt of his families wealth and a way from Kieran to keep a track of the time. Although it is technically not an accessory, his teeth are quite white in colour, not from brushing, despite doing that twice a day now, but from being whitened by the dentist.

Personality:There are a lot of words to describe Kieran, most of them unsuitable to be written in an SU.

History: To say that Kieran lived a priviledged life would be an understatement. Born and raised for the first five years of his life in the wealthier parts of Goldenrod City to two wealthy parents, Kieran's entrance into life was nothing special but lucky. While many others out there struggled to eat at least once a day, Kieran had three freshly cooked meals a day, where they had cardboard and leaking roofs, Kieran had a stable house. The only trials Kieran ever faced on a daily basis was getting out of bed, having a shower and going to school. His father was one of the top lawyers in Goldenrod City, any person he took on managed to win their case; if only that had a fortune to fork out. His mother on the other hand bred and raised top quality Pokemon for a living; anything she bred and raised was pure bred, bred from species rather than egg group. As a young child, Kieran would often follow his father around, mimicking his father's habits, from which many of his habits originate; both good and bad. Kieran's father was his ultimate role model, everyone remarked how much he resembled the man, and acted like him too; his father on the other hand often ignored this and Kieran, having more pressing matters to attend to.

Shortly after his fifth birthday, Kieran moved out of the city with his parents and to a fairly large house on a plot of land north of Ecruteak City. Here he was far away from the poverty of the city where his mother had more space to expand her breeding business while his father commuted daily to his law firm in Goldenrod City. Since both his parent worked, neither had time for him, opting to pay for an au pair to look after Kieran while they were out at work, however Kieran always acted up for them, and never had one for longer than a few months. By the time he hit school age, they were happy to enrol him into school in Goldenrod City; one that was well worth the money to pay for. Here he got along with many of the students from rich parents like himself, only when he began to grow older, and the personality that would define his as a person began to emerge did his peers begin to question any friendship with him.

Fast forward to high school and the only thing that had changed in those ten odd years was his age, and the worsening of his personality. Having rich parents meant that Kieran was able to do a lot more than many of the other students, something he made sure everyone knew. He flaunted his parents money, rubbing it in everyone's faces that he was richer than them. He seemed to have a natural ability to be able to pick up languages, and by high school spoke both English and Spanish, beginning Japanese in his first year and quickly progressing ahead of the class. Despite having little to no friends and never having kept a girlfriend for more than a couple of weeks, Kieran still believed he was better than everybody else and acted like it too. Much of the school despised him, students even began to try and beat him up about it, but due to his natural body shape, weight lifting and martial arts training, he could easily fend them off, further boosting his ego. In class, teachers tried to teach him, but he would not accept their teaching method or believed he was right and they were wrong; his marks didn't help this point either. Eventually even the teachers despised him, heeding him little to no attention in class.

Kieran was introduced to Alec at the start of middle school/intermediate, a gift from his parents when Alec was still in an egg for getting thus far. Once Alec hatched, the first thing he saw was Kieran, and as such became attached to Kieran, following him around and in some instances mimicking him in various ways, eventually leading to Alec become just as arrogant as Kieran was. Kieran even took Alec to school, and when the two found a knack for battling, managed to win over and over again. Kieran put this all down to Alec's pure breeding and their natural skill.

When Kieran found out he had been accepted to go to Hope High, he saw this as an opportunity to get away from the people he saw as beneath him at the private boarding school he had attended, and also a sign that he was better than everyone else. He always continually looked for a way to make himself seem better than everyone else, flaunting this often.

Negative Trait: Arrogance

Power: Vocal Modification
Kieran's ability focusses around the manipulation of his own voice. Kieran has the possibility of amplifying his voice into a sonic scream, capable of shattering glass, eardrums and creating a sonic force, propelling items and people backwards. The ability to manipulate his voice also allows him to mimic other people's voices and perhaps even the cries of animals and singers. A slight hint of Omnilinguism is present, making it easier for Michael to pick up verbal foreign language easier. However, at this point in time, he can only raise his voice a couple of octaves, enough to give someone an ear ache, keep a tune while singing, and also able to mimic other's voices for only small sentences; meaning he is not yet fully aware of his ability. A side effect from this ability is that the vocal manipulation puts strain on his own voice box and throat, making his voice sounds slightly husky. If Kieran allows his arrogance to overtake him, he could eventually lose his voice.

Schedule:
Homeroom
1st period: Advanced Calculus
2nd period: Japanese
Lunch
3rd period: History/Mythology
4th period: Battling 101

Pokemon:
Alec is almost as arrogant as Kieran is. This common aspect is what brought them together, and keep them together till this day. With slightly larger prongs, and a slightly darker yellow coat, there is very little difference between Alec and other Elekid. However, this male Elekid is Kieran's voice of reason of sorts, electrocuting Keiran with a little shock if Kieran is being too arrogant.

Reserve me, sucker! I'll get to this eventually.

Name: Atom Watcher
Gender: Male
Age: Seventeen

Appearance: Atom is somewhat Welsh looking, with his dark hair, dark eyes and tanned skin. He's about 180ish centimetres tall (or 6 feet) and is a little muscle-y in appearance due to his previous experiences with baseball. His hair is fashioned in a punky kind of way, using natural grease from his scalp as a mouse to style it to the right (like this and more like this put together, but black hair), fit with a chin strap style facial hair. He has an assortment of piercings, one on his left eyebrow, one under the left side of his lip, four on his left ear (a small stretcher, another stud next to it, an ear cuff and one at the top) and two on his right side (another small stretcher and stud next to it). He has rings under his eyes usually thanks to frequent nights where he has consecutively gone to bed past 3am.

His face is rather slender, his cheekbones defined and his nose is slightly crooked, thanks to a fight he had with a student. He has very, very slight scars on his face also, but only if you leaned right into his face could you see them. The scars on his knuckles are far more noticeable.

Body-wise, Atom is lean and fit. Not in a steroid kind of way, but in a "I have a faint six-pack" which can be seen when he takes his shirt off. He also has several, small tattoos on his right arm, hip and neck, all small, black stars.

In his wardrobe, Atom isn't a fashionista, usually wearing what makes him feel comfortable. This usually ranges from long sleeve tees to normal tees, maybe a collared, button up shirt if he's going out. Jeans and cargo pants are usually the lower torso's choice, maybe skinny jeans if he's feeling cool enough. Shoes aren't really varied either, going for a converse look usually. He has a chain which attaches his wallet to his pants and a mobile phone in his pocket.

Atom may also be seen carrying a baseball bat or a guitar case.

Personality: "Handle with care" is the only warning you'll get.

History: "Addison Elijah Watcher" was born to a pair of very young lovers in Kanto who were too obsessed with the idea of love and raising a child than to realise that they barely had the finances to look after themselves, let alone a baby. At first, they worked as trainers, where using their Pokémon to battle and fight was the only way they knew to get money. It worked great after a while, but as eight years passed, cracks seemed to form between their relationship. They were only twenty-six at this point and topics such as 'seeing the world' and 'haven't done anything with my life' propped up until finally, the father left, leaving Addison and his mother alone.

As Addison grew up without a father and barely with a mother (she was always away, working to survive), he went to school and tried to fit in. Unfortunately though, when he moved schools (and countries, to Nacrene City in Unova) at the age of thirteen, his 'buddy' who was meant to show him around the school introduced him to the wrong sort of friends; friends who like to party, friends who liked to get in trouble, friends who were not a good influence at all. He attended his first party soon after, drinking his first beer, smoking his first cigarette and kissing his first girl. The 'party at Ben's house' was a pretty memorable event, earning him his nickname; Adam was short for Addison and Atom spawned from that. In that year, he learned guitar, joined a baseball team, joined a band, got a girlfriend, lost a girlfriend, left a band and went to a whole lot of parties doing all kinds of crazy things. At school, he got into fights without reason and was constantly ending up in the principal's office. Meanwhile at home, his mother, who felt she had no control over Atom, continued to barely make ends meet, now without the help from her son.

As a year passed and Atom came home continuously drunker and angrier and with more bruises each week as well as frequent trips to detention, his mother forced him to make a promise to stop, that he would pass this year of high school. He broke the promise after three days, on the night of his mother's birthday. He snuck out to a party and only after an hour, the entire house was arrested by the police for being underage, drunk and in some cases, possession of drugs. Atom was then sentenced to four weeks house arrest (he might have got away with a warning if he hadn't punched the officer in the face) and begun to show symptoms of withdrawal from his usual life. He fought because he liked the power and the rush. He went to parties because he liked to drink, he liked to go crazy. He couldn't handle being away from it all, he felt powerless, he felt uncool, he felt as if he had no friends. He did it all for his own selfishness but he was okay with that. It took only four days before he became agitated and a week before he lost it completely, raging out on his mother, throwing lines like 'this is why dad left you' and attacking her mentally. When that didn't work, he hit her and tried to run away, but was caught by her Pokémon. Little did he know that this first bout of anger was first stages of his power. It was then when his mother contacted Hope High School, as a suggestion from his principal, as a last resort to save her son.

He received the letter soon after and though wished to decline, was forced again by his mother, her even picking out his subjects.

Negative Trait: Temptation

Power: Lycanthropy/Therianthropy, based not off the full moon, but off his mood. It works in stages and as he gets angrier, the effects get more and more intense. First stage is heightened senses, strength and acting off impulse. After that, his appearance starts to change (he gets hairier and with claws and fangs and stuff) and he acts more on impulse than with strategy.

Schedule:
Homeroom
1st period: Advanced Calculus
2nd period: Latin
Lunch
3rd period: History/Mythology
4th period: Battling 101

Pokemon: Nova, a female Shinx whose only appearance difference is that her hair curls (like a cowlick). Nova is a free soul and often annoys Atom with her playfulness and cheer. She was given to Atom by his mother (Nova was an offspring of her own Luxray and Mightyena) and was told to look after him. She's beginning to grow on him, but ever so slowly.

Reserve me a spot, please. I'm putting together the bare bones of this SU as we speak. I'm done!

Status: Done!

Name: Alexis Scaffidi

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Appearance: If you were to stereotype Alexis based on her appearance, you'd most likely end up describing her somewhere along the lines of the *****y upperclassman; with her massive height of six feet three, slender hourglass stature and and ample breasts, this impression is easy to give off. Her face is oval-shaped and very well-defined, with high cheekbones and a very pointed chin. Alexis's eyes, which are always underlined with a thin layer of eyeliner, are pitch-black in color, and they seem to emanate a sort of sinister beauty. The bright red color of her lips--or rather, her lipstick--contradicts her pale complexion, further adding to the "sinister beauty" factor of her appearance.

Her hair falls in beautiful black curls to her shoulders, with a few wild strands hanging between her eyes. She pays a lot of attention to her hair, having a big stash of hair products under her dormitory bed; these cover dyes, hair vitamins, curling and straightening irons and an assortment of hair accessories. Although she often wears her hair down, she likes to experiment with her hairstyle--some of the most common being a simple ponytail, braids and even pigtails if she feels like it.

As for her wardrobe, Alexis is very fond of two-piece tops with dark colors--in fact, no one has really seen her don anything else. A favorite of hers is a slightly transparent black blouse, layered with a black tank top decorated with the insignia of her favorite clothes' brand, ERode. As for the bottom area, she usually wears white skinny jeans with holed knees, held up by a white leather belt. She enjoys practical footwear, such as Converse, sneakers or even sandals. She also likes to wear simple black bangles and a pair of earrings. (I drew a picture of her, it's attached to this post.)

Personality: (I'll just write a teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeny bit, okay?) Alexis is a clever girl, and is fully capable of devising brilliant plans within a few minutes. Although she has a bad memory, her logical brilliance is more than enough to make up for this drawback. Add to this her beauty and natural affinity for battling, and it's hard to fault her for being proud. Alexis possesses a sharp tongue and close to no tact, often paying no heed to the rules, and even encourages herself to break them just for the thrill of it. Her pride often leads her to undermine other people's capabilities, which is a troublesome habit that drags down her battling skills. She absolutely despises losing, and after a loss she will put her Pokemon through very intensive training until she deems them strong enough.

History: Alexis was born into what would be considered a middle-class family if the world was a normal one. However, considering the state the world was in, her family was pretty up there in the social ladder. Her parents worked at the Jubilife TV Station; her father was a director, and her mother a news anchor. Their income was enough to support their five children, which was a rarity at the time. Her family was fairly normal, all things considered, and Alexis lived a fairly content childhood. As a child, Alexis was quite the tomboy; being accustomed to living with the active and sporty nature of her four brothers, it's no surprise that Alexis grew up to be quite the opposite of feminine. She preferred mud between her toes to rings on her fingers, and loved to play sports with her brothers since she had no friends of her own--at least none that could spend their time playing.

However, a strike of misfortune came along. Alexis's father lost his job, and her mother's paycheck wasn't quite enough to cover the living costs of seven people--especially in a world as chaotic as this one. Damien, the eldest brother, was sent to military school almost immediately after the job loss, and soon Christopher, the second child, followed. Within a few months, all of the Scaffidi siblings were either assigned to military school or to a cheap boarding school. Alexis, being female, suffered the latter fate.

The boarding school was not a very good one, which was understandable considering her parents' financial situation. Add to that fact the state the world is in, and it's not strange that things were pretty rough there. The school's environment was not very ideal; bullying was at large, and none of the teachers seemed to care. What little rules the school had was promptly ignored; as such, with nothing threatening them, the strong assumed complete authority over the weak. Alexis managed to survive this condition using her extraordinary beauty, and even became one of the "bullies" of the school. This is the phase where Alexis started to pay attention to how she looked--with all the money she received from other students, voluntarily or otherwise, she began to buy beauty products on a large scale. Makeup, manicure products, clothes, you name it. She had a big influence over the student body, and with her cunning, manipulative nature, nobody with a working brain dared to get in a tangle with her. Her Misdreavus, Wight, also possessed adequate strength after being put through so many intensive trainings, further attributing to Alexis's notoriety.

The boarding school offered basic academic studies, all of which Alexis excelled in with her natural intelligence, but its main focus was Pokemon Battles. Although these are mostly just theories about usage of specific items and effects of moves, there were practical sessions where students are forced to pit their Pokemon against one another; here, Wight triumphed over most of her oppositions, a testament to her battling skills. This was mostly because she feared Alexis's wrath--and the intensive-training-bordering-on-torture that came with it--should she lose.

When the letter from Hope Academy was slipped under her dorm room door, Alexis was pretty indifferent about going. She didn't like the whole goody-goody atmosphere they made the school seem like, but she did want a change of scenery, after being stuck in the boarding school for so long. After a bit of debating with herself, she took up the offer, packed up her belongings and headed for whatever's beyond the Snowpoint City.

Negative Trait:
Pride.

Power:
Atmokinesis--the ability to manipulate weather. Alexis is able to modify all sorts of weathers on a whim, being able to summon wild thunderstorms in a perfectly clear day, and of course vice versa. She is also able to control wind currents, and solidify them into various shapes, such as crescent-shaped blades or even a shield. She can also use wind currents to block, decrease the power of or redirect ranged attacks. That being said, at her current power level, she can only intensify sunlight mildly and slightly increase the strength of precipitation. This ability is completely useless indoors, at least for the time being.

Schedule:
Homeroom
1st period: Core 4 (p.s. I don't know how this stuff works, so if for some reason Alexis can't take that class due to age reasons or whatever else, tell me, okay? Curse you non-American/British school I go to!)
2nd period: Latin
Lunch
3rd period: History/Mythology
4th period: Battling 101

Pokemon:

200.gif

Wight, a female Misdreavus. Wight looks like a normal Misdreavus in every sense and form. Her personality is basically a carbon copy of Alexis's, except for the fact that she isn't rebellious; Alexis sees to it that Wight obeys her every command.

RP Sample: From Pokemon Reborn: Synchronize

And, should that fail to impress (very likely, I must say), an excerpt from an unreleased Fairy Tail fanfic I wrote:

P.S. There's not a whole lot of samples I can muster, since I'm fairly new to the Roleplay Corner, so I'm hoping that your decision would be based more on my SU than my sample.

(OOC: Yeah... Didn't see this... Posted in the main thread xD Ah well.)

Name: Soul Muze

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Appearance: If you looked directly at Soul, no doubt the first thing you would notice would be his pure golden eyes. Not the bored or irritated expression on his face, not his normal nose nor ears nor well defined chin, but his glowing eyes that seem to cut you in half with a single glance. These eyes, in the dark, play a trick on most people, seeming to be slightly oval-ish like a reptile's should be. But in the day, the eyes seem like any other person's, save the yellow filled iris around it. However, the color complements nicely against his lightly tanned skin and face (No, he's not "Twilight" pale. Sorry Ladies).

Soul stands at a moderate 6'0''. However, since he is slouched over most of the time, it seems like he is a few inches shorter, 5'10'' or 5'11'' maybe. But, with an athletic build like most runners due to training with his Pokémon

Jet black hair covers Soul's head in an intriguing fashion. The top, while fairly longer than the sides that just cover the tips of his ears, sticks up in the front and on the top, giving others the impression that he just staggered out of bed. No matter how much time or how many times he combs it, it will ultimately return to this way in mere moments. However, despite this, the hair on the back of his head is the polar opposite; always straight down.

Around his neck, Soul has a black headband set over his attire. He considers the headband "lucky" and hardly ever takes it off his neck. Sometimes, when he gets cold (again, hardly ever), he puts the headband actually around his head. On his feet, he wears a pair of white sneakers with three black stripes.

Soul favorite outfit: A red t-shirt along with a pair of jeans. Although the jeans are fairly loose, he holds them up with a brown "Parachute" belt. However, the shirt is the perfect size for him. Two black "Ho-oh" wings take up a good portion of the front of the shirt. On the back, right below the collar, are the words "Forti" in cursive lettering. Soul wears this attire almost on a regular basis. He keeps Takeo's Pokeball along with a few spare on the back of his belt. But, to carry his books, he has an orange and black striped one-compartment sports bag.

Personality (Yeah. I wrote stuff because I had it saved and whatnot... might as well ^^') :Soul is a fairly calm person, most of the time appearing bored, and can often be seen slouched over with his hands in his pockets. Sometimes, he intentionally appears annoyed in a vain attempt to keep people out. Not really the one for company, he doesn't have the drive to go out and make friends. Often, it makes him seem semi-angsty.

When talked to, he usually makes some sort of witty or insulting comment during the conversation in a vain attempt to end the engagement. However, he can be quite punctual and is irritated easily by some mundane things, mostly explaining something he finds easy or repetition, and he becomes facetious.

Soul hates others, finding conversations boring or repetitive and most people hypocritical about everything around them. He enjoys the company of Pokémon vastly more. To him, Pokémon seem more diverse and interesting than most people, and he treats every one with respect. Battling seems to be the one time he actually attempts to communicate with another person, if only to give directions. He loves the thrill and competitive temperament of the brawl as well. Despite this, after a battle, win or lose, he reacts the same way, walking off the battlefield without another word and disappearing almost instantly.

Around Pokémon, Soul's true colors shine. His bored nature seems to fade away around them, and Soul becomes… well, energetic and interested in what he is doing. For example, when he trains his Pokémon, he also does some physical activity, whether it is taking or dodging attacks, or even trying to spar with his Pokémon. Heck, he even talks to his Pokemon more than other people. However, he tries to be far away from anyone when he trains, mortified someone may see him.

Soul is fairly smart for his age. Finding a challenge in tough classes and puzzles, this is one of the thinks that pushes him through the day. This innate intelligence also drove him into competitive battling for the thrill. This doesn't mean he is the best, just… smart in his decisions.

History: Although born in Sootopolis City, Soul never spent much time there. Soon after his birth, his father, a scientist, got a new job in a research center in Lavender Town. Here, Soul met his first friend, a Gastly that "haunted" his new home. While he didn't officially "catch" the Pokémon until he was eight, the two were inseparable. A few times, his parents became worried that he was spending too much time with the Gastly, and tried to separate the two. Disgusted, Soul clenched onto the Pokémon even more, secretly meeting the Pokémon whenever he could. Nevertheless, every once in a while, either someone would sell him out, or threaten to tell about the meetings, perhaps distancing Soul even farther away from humanity.

Like a growing number of kids, when Soul was old enough to attend school, he despised it. Most of the time, he found everyone around him almost insufferably dull. Believing everyone was just dense, he ignored them, never really gaining a social life. To fill the hole, Soul began to spend even more time with Hades (As he came to call the Gastly).

Despite his parent's dislike to having Pokémon, he soon found something that they hated even more: battling. First seeing the sport on television, Soul almost immediately after began training Hades to fight, using the Pokémon's natural mischievous attitude to their advantage. Although he thought of it as a competition, and was the only way he actually communicated with other people, his parents frowned upon this apparently "Immoral" sport. Like everything else, Soul ignored their spite, training Hades and battling regularly. In the end, he ended up spending more time at the Pokémon Center and Fields then at school. However, as much as he wanted to, his parents would not let him leave school in order to train.

Even so, towards the end of his Sophmore year of High School, along with Hades evolving, Soul, while walking down Route 12, spotted a Buizel floating lazily in the current. Like any aspiring trainer, he could tell the Pokémon was extremely rare, if not, unheard of in the area. A battle quickly ensued and Soul was the victor, catching the Pokémon. Soul thought training the Pokémon would be a challenge, but apparently, the Buizel gained a sort of respect for Soul. When he received the letter to attend the new school, an offer which he instantly accepted, he took the Buizel (Whom he named "Takeo") with him to his new school, leaving Hades behind to cause mischeif.

Negative Trait: Solitude

Power: Ice: Because of his power, it seems that Soul is less susceptible to cold weather. In addition, with the presence of a liquid, Soul is actually able to freeze it solid, and into any shape he cares. Currently, he can't do much more then chill a glass of water.

Schedule:
Homeroom (this is when the teacher will take attendance and read the daily announcements)
1st period: Core 3 (Vying to move to Core 4)
2nd period: Latin
Lunch
3rd period: History/Mythology
4th period: Battling 101

Pokémon:
Species: Buizel (Takeo)-
Gender: Male
Personality (brief): Disrespectful to others besides Soul. Most of the time, can be seen relaxing with his arms crossed. Last one he has caught and therefore, the one he thinks needs the most attention. Has a scar running over his left eye.

Not with him (Currently staying at the Lavender Town PokeCenter)
Haunter (Hades)-
Gender: Male
Personality: Bit of a jokester. Constantly in trouble. Most people in Lavender Town seem to know him for his pranks and illusions.

age: The school is taking people between the ages of 13 and 19.
languages offered: Latin, English, AP English, Spanish, Japanese
math classes offered: Core 1, 2, 3, 4, and Advanced Calculus

Supervegeta: You are reserved.

Red's Hawt Chibi Pelippers: You are accepted. I think that I'm going to limit the maths to Core 1, 2, 3, and 4, which covers the four years of math High Schoolers take in general. Advanced Calculus is also offered.

雷影 イチロ: You are reserved.

Skymin: You are reserved. Could you explain to me a bit what you mean by temptation?

Saturated Hue: You are reserved. History/Mythology is one class.

TiTaN.JuStIn: You are reserved.

~Genevieve~: I'm afraid that your SU is declined. Your RP sample isn't quite at the standards I'm looking for for this one, sorry. Also, I do not accept pictures as appearances, her history isn't as in depth as I would like, and abilities have only been given to these people within the past month.

Wolf in the Rain: *sigh...* I guess you're accepted. ^.~

Liacri: You are reserved.

Now for my SU:

Name: Elizabeth Serene Lake

Gender: female

Age: 16

Appearance: Elizabeth isn't somebody you'd see as an... intimidating person. Standing an unimpressive 5'5" in height and having a rather slender figure, she's probably the last person you'd expect to pull a knife on you, though finding the switchblade that she always carries in her pocket would inform you otherwise. Her face is heart-shaped and features soft, automatically giving others a false assumption of her disposition that is only hinted to be false by her ice-blue eyes and starkly black hair with red stripes. Genetics have left Elizabeth with pale skin that doesn't easily tan, but she spends so much time in the sun during the summer that maintaining a sun-kissed skin tone isn't a difficult task for her, which is yet another difference between her and her family members that she is more than happy to cultivate. She has no significant birth marks, freckles or acne (one of the few things she doesn't complain about inheriting), though a large, dark purple C-shaped scar is prominently displayed in her left calf, which she keeps hidden beneath her typical baggy jeans. In the way of footwear, Elizabeth prefers to wear ratty old converse, usually black in color. She wears a short, sleeveless (not strapless) red dress with a thick leather belt around her waist where a metal clasp has been set in the side in order to hold her PokeBall. Over this, Elizabeth typically dons a black zip-up hoodie that's become somewhat frayed at the sleeves from use. On her hands she wears a pair of old black fingerless gloves, showing off her silver-painted fingernails that are constantly tattered despite her regular upkeep of them. Everything she needs at hand is carried in a shoulder bag made out of various colors of thread. The only sign of her family's wealth whatsoever that she displays rests around her neck in the form of a small heart-shaped ruby pendant on a silver chain. All of these layers of clothing make her appear even more slight in stature than she truly is, hiding the muscles on her arms and legs that have been toned through years of various forms of training she has put herself through.

Personality: You'll find out during the RP :)

History: Elizabeth was raised in one of the wealthiest, most prestigious neighborhoods reserved only for families of a similar standard in the Hoenn Region. The Lakes were a family of famous Coordinators, known for being able to turn any Pokemon into a marvel of grace and a delight to watch. Elizabeth's parents as well as her older sister, Kristen, had their own routine with one another, capturing the hearts of millions with not only the entertainment of a joint Coordinating show, but with the intriguing idea of having an entire family being involved in creating this amazing spectacle. The only problem with this little family show? Elizabeth was one Lake who refused to have anything to do with all things Coordinating. This became evident even when she was a small child and would fall asleep whenever forced to watch the family practice together. Her sister was immediately disgusted with Elizabeth and simply began to ignore her and move forward with her own career, but her parents hoped to convert their daughter. Elizabeth had other plans. One of their neighbors was a ridiculously wealthy man with a house that properly displayed such wealth. When Elizabeth was seven years old, the man finally died, leaving everything he owned to his only son. Naturally, the heir moved in: a man in his mid-thirties who was a successful martial artist and had an impressive collection of fighting-type Pokemon with whom he trained often in his new yard. Elizabeth overheard her parents discussing how this freeloader was lowering real estate values and drawing in the "wrong crowd", not willing to realize that it was the region itself that was decaying. Elizabeth would pass many uneventful days watching the man and his Pokemon at work, though never yet daring to venture over because of her parents' disapproval. Elizabeth's parents had long since given up on turning her into the model Coordinator, leaving her at home when they went out for meetings with the press or other such occasions that they wouldn't force her to go along to. They left her with their prized Pokemon when they couldn't get a babysitter on time, of course, as they would never dream of leaving her home alone without protection. Unfortunately, such protection eventually proved to be much too little when the robber broke into the Lake household. As the Lake family lived in an area with an incredibly low crime rate due to the strict police force that roamed through the area and the relatively close vicinity between houses, Elizabeth's parents had a lax attitude as to the arrangement of her care for a few hours every so often. Well, the horror stories that some of her past babysitters told didn't really help the cause, either. But one night when Elizabeth's family went for an interview with the news station in response to some speculation about the originality of their routines, Elizabeth was eating her dinner when she heard the front door blow open and slam against the wall in the living room. She jumped to her feet, not completely comprehending what was going on, but realizing that something was seriously wrong. She heard the bark and snarl of a dog as well as the shout of a man. Acting only on instinct and adrenaline, Elizabeth grabbed a large chopping knife from the kitchen table and hid behind a doorway. She heard one of her parents' Pokemon attempt to drive them away, only to flee after an explosion of fire. The man cleared the first few rooms within minutes and moved on, passing Elizabeth's hiding place and moving the door behind which she was crouched. Elizabeth had an instant to react and took full advantage of it, springing forward and attacking the robber, wrapping her arm around his neck and stabbing the knife into his shoulder. It was all a blur from there, but the man's Houndoom ended up sinking its teeth into Elizabeth's leg in order to pull her off of its master. She ended up lying on the floor bleeding and in terrible pain as the fire dog loomed over her, fire dripping from its jaws. It was only then that her neighbor appeared, his Lucario at his side, having reacted quickly to all the commotion. Elizabeth was already beginning to fall unconscious as the Lucario easily tossed aside the Houndoom, sending the dog and its owner scampering away into the night with a few deliberate strikes and she passed out almost immediately after. She awoke in the hospital with a dizzying number of stitches in her leg. After being released, Elizabeth wasn't expected to be able to do much strenuous activity on account of her leg, but one of the first things she did was go over to her neighbor's house and ask for martial arts lessons. And so it went on from there: Elizabeth made a full recovery, she submerged herself in anything and everything that she could possibly do in order to better her ability to defend herself, and slowly but surely continued to grow more angry. At first she considered the robbery to be an isolated incident, but as she grew older, she realized just how rapidly humans were tearing themselves apart. She began to resent people for their weaknesses that were causing the war, not realizing just how firmly her own weakness had taken shape and would soon become her Inner Demon. She grew ever more distant from her family as she attempted to turn herself into a fighting machine, but it wasn't until her sister brought home an especially difficult Vulpix that Elizabeth discovered her true partner in crime. This Vulpix wasn't exactly what one would call very good at Contests, not seeming to grasp the concept of beauty over strength. Naturally, Elizabeth fell in love and took her in as her future Battling partner. When Elizabeth discovered that she had been invited to go to Hope High School, she jumped on the opportunity without a second thought, wishing not only for an excuse to remove herself from her family, but to hopefully maybe even find another human her age who would accept her for who she was.

Negative Trait: Anger

Power: Fire- She has the ability to create and manipulate flames and heat, though this ability starts out merely as the occasional flicker of any fire near her and the temperature increasing when she gets angry.

Schedule:
Homeroom
1st period: Core 3
2nd period: Latin
Lunch
3rd period: History/Mythology
4th period: Battling 101

Pokemon: Female Vulpix

Temptation as in, say he's led by an assortment of negative traits. He doesn't do things because it's right, he does it because it makes him feel good, regardless of consequences. PrObably similar to lust. He has no control over the things he feels good about. He would get angry because it makes him feel powerful. He would take drugs because of the high. He would pass up an oppourtunity to do anything right if it meant going to a party instead.

A bit of selfishness but more associated with doin what makes him feel good. He can care for another person, but yeah.

Name: Cira

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Appearance: Cira stands around five feet and three inches, weighing in at one-ten. Obviously shorter and lighter than average, but he's never worried about it since his limbs match perfectly with his size, and his clothes help keep him from looking too girly, which he definitely ends up showing off in anything tight. Cira has coal-black hair, reaching down just to his shoulders. It's not a straight cut, but it's a generally even length, including his bangs which are normally hanging over his right eye. His eyes are nearly almond-shaped and heterochromatic: right is violet, and left is green, this being one of his most favored things about himself.

As for his clothes, his upper body wears a loose black T-shirt with white splattered on it like someone just threw a paint brush, with an unzipped white hoodie over it. Aside from when he's sleeping, he always wears it. His lower body holds a pair of winter-camo cargo pants with zippers to convert them to shorts; just below the pants are a pair of worn yet working sneakers. Good for mobility, great breathing room, and generally looks awesome.

Sometimes, mainly for screwing with people, Cira will take on the identity of a hyperactive fifteen year old girl named Senna. During this, he wears a dark blue baby-tee and a black cardigan on top. On the bottom, he wears black crew-length socks, white tennis shoes, and a knee-length tartan skirt that exposed his slender legs. He also keeps a solid red headband in his hair, exposing his right eye and a face that looked like it belonged to an average girl; not to mention letting him speak out more since his voice is naturally feminine to match. Sometimes, Senna will wear Cira's cargo pants in their shorts form for rocky or grassy areas.

Personality: (Just a little.) Despite his love in seeing chaos ensue and screwing with everyone, Cira DOES care about people... when they deserve it, such as if they've just been hurt (and it wasn't caused by him, of course). He's a logical person, using reasoning to decide his actions (such as finding out who a prime target to screw with is), and uses this to a tactful advantage.

History: Cira was born inside the Johto metropolis of sorts, Goldenrod City, to a pair where the father had joined in the war. From early on in Cira's life, he never really did converse with others, let alone well; he was an only child and wasn't really much for "parental love." Most of the times he had played with other children, he walked away with snickers and smirks and left the other kids fighting amongst themselves. Otherwise, Cira tried keeping to himself, sometimes watching everyone else from afar. When he first found out about the war, he was overjoyed that so much insanity was taking place around him.

When he'd gotten to middle school, Cira had taken an interest in new ways to mess with everyone. The most used method now is his alter-ego, Senna. His next favorite came about when he met an Absol. It was injured, so Cira decided to treat it, and it's been loyal to him since, sharing an enjoyment of tricks. Absol was used to "predict" disasters by coming into view of others on Cira's cue. The two have even played pranks on each other.

His "gift" appeared in his first year of high school, more specifically during P.E. First day: Boring. First test: A two-mile run. Cira wanted to get it over with quickly, and, quite literally, ran a mile a minute, collapsing afterwards. Over the next few weeks, he learned he could move some objects, too, like throwing a pencil without touching it. It was at this time that he received a letter to transfer out. Potential... he thought, farewell-ing his mother as he set off on a flight to Sinnoh. Meeting (and likely pranking) new people awaited!

Negative Trait: Discord. Cira seems to have a talent for just bringing out the worst in some people, and enjoys watching (and causing) chaos amongst others.

Power: Cira has the power of Euclidean vector manipulation, controlling matter and energy through direct or indirect contact. He can potentially give himself pseudo-superhuman strength by controlling the vectors in and around his body, along with propelling himself, objects, energy and waves through the air or redirecting them from their current path.

He can't use it for much more than small objects (nothing any heavier than a basketball) and speeding up his own body at the moment, and it tires him out quickly when used on himself.

Schedule
Homeroom
1st period: Core 2, but Cira tries to ditch it as much as he can, hopping between other math classes or going outside to train. What, he can do that during lunch? Lunch is for eating, silly!
2nd period: Latin
Lunch
3rd period: History/Mythology
4th period: Battling 101

Pokemon: Absol; Male, an obedient Pokémon, and a trickster himself.

RP Sample from Pokémon Reborn: Synchronize. (If a longer one is necessary, just ask.)

I'd like to reserve a spot if possible. I should be able to finish this in the next day or so.

EDIT: This guy is done.

Name: Cody Willingham

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Appearance: Cody is best described as unassuming, standing at around 5"7 (175 cm) and weighing in at exactly 142 pounds (64kg). Many describe Cody as fairly thin, with little muscle development to speak of, as his fast acting metabolism keeps a minimal amount of fat stored around his stomach. Cody has a lanky build with long limbs, and a slightly stocky torso in comparison. Cody's skin starkly pale, a result of limited exposure to the sun. All in all, Cody looks like he belongs more at a hospital instead of a school.

A wholesome thick mop of brown hair lies on top of Cody's head, with its waves and curls at the mercy of the wind and loose strands brushing across his small piercing gray eyes. Cody's eyes are void of life and passion with noticeable dark shadows beneath suggesting the boy barely gets any sleep at night because of some horrible illness preventing rest from becoming a feasible reality. Aside from this Cody's gaunt face lacks prominent features. His cheekbones are hardly noticeable. His thin nose does little to add character, while his thin lips prevent bold expression. Cody appears to care for his appearance somewhat having no facial hair or impurities, aside from some pimples dotted across his small forehead. Cody's thin cheeks have little blush to them as well, causing his pale complexion to be that more striking. What is most disturbing is Cody's permanent facial expression of boredom. No matter what the situation Cody appears to be bored, tired and aloof; an undesirable impression to make.

Cody's wardrobe is about as interesting as his physical attributes, which is not all. Cody favors darker t-shirts, usually grays or blacks. The designs are minimal, if even existent. If applicable, the decorations are usually limited to brand names being embroidered across the chest or back. Unoriginal and boring. I know. Occasionally, a reference or joke will being written on them. That is assuming you are lucky to see them, as Cody usually covers up these bursts of entertainment with a zipped hooded sweatshirt. Like his shirts, the colors are minimal ranging from darker blues to black. These are fitted, matching his lanky figure being borderline undersized at times. Cody is rarely seen without a pair of blue (sometimes bordering on gray again. It's his favorite color after all) jeans, usually ripped on the ankles or knees to bestow some element of character to them. Black sneakers are his shoes of choice, only owning 2 pairs of nearly identical shoes.

Cody fancies a few trinkets and accessories. Most notable is Cody's watch (worn on his left wrist) which happens to be a fairly fancy considering the rest of his outfit. With a silver band, a black face with silver Roman numerals for the numbers, the watch has class and reflects status which Cody lacks on both accounts. Some speculate he stole the thing, but that is for another day. Cody has a necklace with an Ouroboros symbol as a pendant. He wears it constantly, arguably obtaining the status of his favorite trinket.

Personality: Ever know that guy at school who never paid attention in class, kept to himself, never bothered anyone, slept in class and was horribly apathetic to the events around him? Did he also possibly happen to get fairly high marks on nothing more than his natural abilities and some dumb luck? Cody is kind of like that.

History: Cody was born into a middle class family as the future middle child forever living in the shadow of an overachieving elder brother and a baby sister whose favorite pastime was whining. Cody dwelled in the suburbs of Castelia City in a home that stable compared to most considering the unstable nature of the world. His father had a stable office job in Castelia City, working for one of the major banks. Despite annual lay offs, Cody's father knew how to please the right people, reaping the benefits. His mother, worked on and off, at the local hospital until the birth of their youngest child. For as long as he could remember he suffered from the phenomenon sometimes known as the middle child syndrome. For understandable reasons, Cody's parents babied his sister as younger children naturally need more attention and praised his elder brother for he was something of a prodigy, so high hopes were placed upon the poor boy. Cody, on the other hand, presented himself as average and unremarkable. Often ignored, Cody went about his business like any other child. He did his best to remain out of trouble and gradually dwindled in obscurity. However, little did they realize it was all part of Cody's plan.

Obscurity, however, became Cody's comfort zone. It allowed to do what he wanted when he wanted to, which more often than not was absolutely nothing. Or at least nothing that was truly productive. From young age, Cody quickly became accustomed to minding his own business, taking care of himself, and well frankly, finding ways of keeping himself occupied. Since his parents were almost always too busy taking care of "more important things", Cody became rather independent rather quickly. However, without that guiding hand, Cody drifted away from the path to greatness and became lost in the realm of…..well place an epic word here for laziness and you get the idea.

This all really began when Cody was old enough to attend school. His elder brother was in the heart of attending grade school (he was about in 7th grade at the time) while his baby sister was just getting out of diapers. Lost in the shuffle, Cody began attended classes with surprising enthusiasm. School was something to do (and got himself off out the home of the crying child of death) and for the most part, Cody achieved fairly high marks from the onset. He entered a circle of friends, teachers liked him, and everything was going his way. And then he got home. Home life was erratic. Baby sister needed constant attention. Big brother had a host of hobbies than needed rides too (sports, piano lessons, etc). Cody…well he was forced to fend for himself, as mentioned above. Without parents to provide that spark of passion, the motivation, the reward, and that reason to do anything, Cody grew unenthusiastic about school work and anything else associated with effort. There was no reason to do it. No reward. It wasn't like he was getting a pat on the back or anything.

Instead, Cody found other things to do and for the most part they were relatively unproductive. He chose to not get deeply involved in anything that didn't interest him or involve actual work. He deemed them "troublesome" or "uninteresting". Cody leapt from hobby to hobby, trying new things from time to time to keep himself from being too bored. Schoolwork became largely secondary, but somehow he pulled good grades out without taking it too seriously relying on just doing whatever was necessary to keep the teachers from breathing down his throat. He couldn't be bothered by the extra work that would come if he hadn't.

Over time (late middle school for reference), Cody became fairly reclusive. His social skills deteriorated. His hobbies became rather one dimensional, limiting himself to games (board games or video games), television, napping, watching the stars/clouds and his personal favorite: napping. Inactivity became a pastime of his. Cody became bored easily when trying new things, ultimately returning to simply lying around at home at peace with himself. It was the only time he felt truly comfortable and ironically productive. He bathed in his glory. Lying on the couch with the music blasting while his parents were out. Talk about living the life. At least he picked up a few useful skills as he mindlessly tried hobby after hobby.

Cody became rather detached from the world, limiting himself to very few acquaintances and becoming virtually invisible to his parents who once again favored their college bound valedictorian and the baby sister with ADD. Cody lived his life by sitting in the back of the classroom, staring at the window or catching a few "Z"s while the teacher lectured about pointless things no one cared about. School was a breeze though, if only because idle time spent reading books or surfing the Internet filled his head with useless information that happened to be on tests. "A"s filled his report card like cake fills up an obese man. Not that anyone really cared. Cody was too lazy to show off. Too lazy to join clubs. Too lazy to hang out. Too lazy to complain. As an unintended side effect, Cody became rather humble and easy to talk to, never wanting to bother anyone with his problems. To him, kicking back and relaxing solved everything. With that, Cody did have a circle of friends at school to talk to, but he never made the effort to talk to them outside of class. People, in general, found Cody's wit and attitude admirable and his overall kind demeanor likable. Shame they never get to see him.

On a whim, Cody adopted an Eevee from the local day care. It was abandoned and he was good friends with the owners, as Cody liked to use their roof as a bed. The sky was always clear and perching himself on the roof gave him a nice view of the clouds and even better the stars. The Eevee was named Guy, mostly because Cody couldn't think of a name. It took much work. However, Guy kept Cody busy and while he always wanted to do something, he knew the value of "me" time. Time that usually spent laying on the bed or couch and day dreaming.

One day, after school, Cody was shocked to see a letter from a school called "Hope High School". Unsure of the name (being half a world away in Unova), Cody was caught off guard at being invited to what appeared to be an esteemed academy, being that he was labeled as a "bum" earlier in the day by his one teacher. Maybe it was his high marks? Not really caring, Cody completed the paperwork, forged his parent's signatures (if necessary) and got himself ready to try something new. It wouldn't affect mom and dad anyway. In fact, Cody wasn't even going to tell them.

After all, he didn't tell them about his body being like a rubber man for the past few weeks either.

Negative Trait: Sloth. Cody is a representative of the human quality of Sloth which results in emotional and physical apathy. Cody revels in being inactive and in turn lazy. This inhibits human progress and propensity as it prevents Cody from acting on his surprising potential.

Power:
Elasticity/ Rubber Mimicry: Cody's body has taken on the qualities of rubber allowing him to stretch, deform, expand, and contract his body into nearly any form imaginable. Every facet of his body has become rubber-like in design, allowing for the impressive feats his body can perform to be physically possible. His limbs, bones, organs, skin, etc. can all be manipulated to stretch, deform, expand and contract based on his will. As such, Cody is effectively invulnerable to blunt force attacks or anything that requires bending or twisting, making him highly resistant to injury. However, Cody is vulnerable to slashing or piercing attacks and rapid changes in temperature as rubber is affected by heat and cold, inhibiting his ability to expand or contract, etc. That being said, Cody appears to be highly resistant to electricity (to the point of being nearly immune), as rubber acts as a natural insulator. Cody's ability allows for great flexibility (pun somewhat intended) in supplying him with a wide range of possibilites to exercise, expanding his prowess in battle.

For the time being, Cody's ability appears to limited to stretching his limbs and the strong resistance to most physical attacks.

If I need to add anything else, just tell me.

Name: Taylor Simmons (Former: Romani)

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Appearance:

Taylor is a dark skinned male with short, soft, black hair. He stands at an average height of 5'5". He has a narrow nose and hazel eyes (I am trying to base his appearance on the Romany people, but there isn't a lot of information about their common physical characteristics). Through the coaxing of one of his younger brothers he has an ear piercing on his right ear. He usually wears a white t-shirt, jeans, and tattered sneakers. He carries Oracle's pokeball in his pocket, however, the pokemon prefers to stay outside of it.

Personality:
Taylor is insecure about himself. He feels useless inside and to rid of these feelings he became a "gopher". He will do any request asked of him, almost without a second thought, and without regards to his morals. If someone were to tell him to rob a bank, he would do it. He does this because he wants to feel better about himself. He citizens himself and his decisions, and once he makes a decisions he feels very conflicted.

History:
Taylor was born into a long line of fortune tellers. Members of his family always develop powers to read the future, however on a small minuscule scale. These powers range from Clairvoyance to lesser known powers such as Onomancy. Compared to his younger brothers who had Clairvoyance, Pyromancy, and Astrology, Taylor was gifted one of the weakest powers of the family line, Cartomancy, the reading of the future through playing cards. Taylor grew to dislike himself because of his uselessness and he grew very conscious of what people said and thought about him. He became a "gopher".

He was born in Johto and lived a large majority of his life in Ecruteak City. When he was fourteen Johto's government had completely changed due to a powerful emperor that managed to take control. The emperor declared that all fortune tellers and their families were to be executed. Once he and his family got wind of this, they had tried desperately to escape. They were found by the government and soon put into a dungeon until the day where they would be executed through the use of a guillotine. Arceus had taken pity on Taylor and many of the people that occupied the dungeon and decided to give the power of "Redirection" to Taylor so he could free everyone.

Taylor managed to free everyone and escaped the dungeons. Those accused of being fortune tellers and those who were legitimate fortune tellers all fled to different regions around the world. Taylor and his family joined the group that escaped to Unova, because the Johto government was less likely to find them there.

Taylor and his family fled to Nimbasa City with the group they were traveling with. During their trek through the desert that separated Castelia City, the group met a Sigilyph that guided them through the desert. The Sigilyph had taken a huge liking to Taylor and when the pokemon had guided them to Nimbasa City, the Sigilyph had decided to stick around.

He, now Taylor Simmons, received the letter from Hope High the day after his citizenship was accepted in Unova. He was very skeptical when he received his letter and was debating whether to go or not. His brothers tried to convince him not to go and he almost sent his rejection letter until his parents had found out about it and encouraged him to go.

Negative Trait: Insecure (I wanted Envy, but Red already took it. D:< )

Power: In the past he was able to read the future of someone through Cartomancy, the use of fortune telling through playing cards, but through Arceus's doings he lost this power and gained the power to redirect attention away from him, but this effect is lost when he comes into physical contact with living things. (Redirection)

Schedule:
Homeroom
1st period: What's Core? Since I have no idea what that is, I'll just put Pre-calculus
2nd period: English
Lunch
3rd period: History/Mythology (a required class for all Hope High School students)
4th period: Contests (He has picked Contests as his fourth period, but he is having second thoughts. However, it is too late to change classes.)

Pokemon:
Name: Oracle
Species:
Spr_5b_561.png

Gender: Male
Personality: Oracle is a supporter. He enjoys helping others, but has his own morals and knows when to refuse to help someone else. He's very kind in nature and he treats himself as the worrying older brother to Taylor.

I wouldn't doubt there being plenty of open spaces.

I think Edward (Supervegeta) would make an awesome shadow puppeteer.

P.S. Can you do the Loch Ness for us when the RP starts? :D We need a picture of it for History/Mythology!
