Update to Pokemon White 2 Mono-Red Run.

-Ground Pokeymanz to Level 20, so that I could grind Lox to Level 20, so that it learns Bubblebeam, so that it could do something.
-Sailed away to Castelia City.
-Took on the Battle Company. (For some reason Poison Tail wasn't super effective on Marill)
-Talked to the harlequins on the way.
-Learned that Burgh wasn't in the Gym.
-Bought a dozen Castelia Cones.
-Followed Iris into the Castelia Sewers.
-Defeated Team Plasma in the Castelia Sewers.
-Met Burgh in the Castelia Sewers.
-Since it was a new day, bought another dozen Castelia Cones.
-Steamrolled the Castelia Gym with Teppy.
-Defeated Colress on Route 4.
-Successfully captured the Braviary that appears on Mondays on Route 4.
-Although she is a trainer first, Nurse Mariah was worth the battle, since her Cleffa was easy to defeat, and I get a free heal afterwards.
-Hunted the Desert Resort for a Dwebble, eventually encountering a good-quality one.

Spoiler:

Teppy (Pignite Lv. 27)

Sorry to repost the question, but I never got an answer and the question is now buried. Will this be alright jdthebud?

EDIT:
I'm definitely going for Ultimate using the following games: Blue, SoulSilver, Ruby, Pearl, White 2, and Y. SoulSilver would be the current one that I'm asking about.
Oh, sorry I didn't see that what with the onrush of new posts. That's totally fine, and if you can simply link to the last update you had on the other thread if possible that is the best way to do it. Good luck on your ultimate challenge!

I will be offline for the next few days, hopefully that means I will have time to play my Blue Emerald and have an update when I return.

Oddly enough, it seems I never got around to updating on the B-I-N-G-O thread, which is especially odd given that I beat the eight Johto gyms.

So here's Update #1 I guess:

Playthrough:

Spoiler:
  • Started a new file
  • Named myself DAVE
  • Got Totodile as my starter and nicknamed it Gator
  • Did all that dull beginning of the game stuff, named my rival Silver (inventive, no?)
  • Beat the Sprout Tower, which was more difficult that when I use Cyndaquil
  • Beat Falkner, which was pretty easy
  • Went to Route 32 and caught a Quagsire, which was nicknamed SurfnTurf
  • Went through Union Cave - Hikers and Flamebreathers are pretty easy with a team of two water types
  • Went to Azalea Town, cleared out Team Rocket
  • Beat the Azalea Gym - every time I fight Bugsy, I'm reminded of how much I hate her Scyther
  • Went through Ilex Forest to get Headbutt so I could catch a Heracross for my team
  • I went back to Azalea and then spent FOREVER looking for Heracross until I realized the system had been changed from G/S/C and he would only be in certain trees
  • Got Heracross eventually and nicknamed her Disco Kid
  • Went on to Goldenrod and beat Whitney pretty easily thanks to Disco Kid - I think it was the first time I didn't rant about Whitney's Miltank being overpowered, so that was nice
  • From there, the team was pretty much complete, so I breezed through the next Gyms.
  • Morty was unusually tolerable do to Gator's bite and higher levels than usual, and he lost pretty easy
  • I went to Olivine, did the lighthouse, went and beat Chuck (Disco Kid got me through with her resistance to fighting), and then beat Jasmine (Disco Kid swept her team)
  • After that, we went to Mahogany and did all the Team Rocket battling
  • We then fought Pryce and Disco Kid - who else? - swept his team
  • Cleared Team Rocket out of Goldenrod easily
  • And then there was Clair. I hate Clair's team for so many reasons, but the battle went kind of smoothly - Gator beat a few with Ice Fang and they all sort of worked together against that Kingdra
  • I went to the Dragon's Den, got a Dratini, thought about using it as a Dragonair but realized that was a pretty awful idea
  • Finally, I went to Ecruteak City and horribly lost to the Kimono Girls
  • Then I quit and saved.

The Team:

Spoiler:
So far, it's just Gator, SurfnTurf (who contributes very little), and Disco Kid. I may add a Metagross or Luxray to the team once I reach Kanto, but this is my team till then (not counting HM Slaves of course).

Gator the Hardy Feraligatr
Level 41, Met in New Bark Town at Level 5
Moves: Ice Fang, Crunch, Surf, Slash

SurfnTurf the Brave Quagsire
Level 42, Met in Route 32 at Level 6
Moves: Surf, Headbutt, Mud Bomb, Earthquake

Disco Kid the Naive Heracross
Level 42, Met in Azalea Town at Level 4
Moves: Brick Break, Close Combat, Horn Attack, Aerial Ace

I finished FireRed.
Final Update:
- After doing a little catching spree (Don't worry I released everything captured except CH'DING the Farfetched not used in any battles) I went on trek through Digglet's Cave to find the guy with HM 05 Flash that Cordecep wanted to learn
- Once I returned to Cerulean I headed to the Rock Tunnel
- As I exited Rock Tunnel I saw Lavender was just ahead so I gave it the last push
- While traveling on Silent Bridge Sriracha evolved
- Upon reaching Celadon City I went into the Dept. Store to get a leaf stone and evolved Nuptup on the spot
- With a poison and fire flying type in my party right now I saw the grass gym as easy pickings (I forgot to take a screenshot of the gym leader)
- After an easy win I went to the Game Corner but I found some Team Rocket grunts inside that needed a good beating
- Once defeated Giovanni ran for the hills dropping the Silph Scope in the process
- After getting HM 02 Fly from a strange girl I taught it to CH'DING to get back to Lavender town
- I saw LAMEO in Pokemon Tower and figured I would apologize for killing his Raticate but he just wanted another battle so he got another beating
- As I approached the final stair's I saw Cubone's mother and Nuptup sucked the dead life out of her
- I then kicked the Rocket grunts out and saved an stupid crazy old man who gave me the answer to my current problem the Pokeflute
- Visited the oldest of the Fisherman brothers and got the Super Rod
- Flew to Vermillion to catch a Poliwhirl and took it to Cerulean to the guy who wanted to trade for a Jynx named ZYNX
- Looked at Zynx's moves and saw they're crap so it's teachy time for water pulse, sat at the slots playing to coins for Ice Beam
- Remembered to pick up the Tea for the Gate Guards to Saffron
- Talked to Mr. Psychic to get the TM for Psychic for ZYNX
- Finished Silent Bridge and all connecting routes
- I think I will take on Koga while ZYNX still wants to listen (she's already at lvl 44)
- With a super rod in hand I flew to Pallet town to fish up a krabby
- After an hour and a half of spamming the F**K out of the super rod I finally found and captured one Krabby and named him Patty
- With a quick clean sweep of the Safari Zone I got HM 03 Surf and some Gold Teeth that I gave to the Warden for HM 04 Strength
- Patty learned to hang ten and push some rocks
- Cleared Cycling Road
- Went to Saffron to beat the fighting dojo and clear out the Silph Co.
- Inside just standing around doing absolutely f**ken nothing was LAMEO who wanted yet another battle that I won
- Giovanni posed no threat to the power of ZYNX and I got a MASTER BALL
- Already leveled up enough to take on Sabrina so she was the next to fall
- While wondering witch gym to take on next I beat both ways to Cinabar and grabbed the secret key from the Pokemon Mansion
- ZYNX just pulsed her through Blaine's gym tanking a FIRE BLAST from a Blaine's Arcanine
- When leaving Blain's gym Bill came to ask me to go to the snevi islands witch I accidentally said yes so I'm going to not talk about those dumb islands because they're is nothing there
- After I returned to Kanto I flew over to Viridian City to beat on Giovanni some more
- On my way to the badge check gates I ran into LAMEO again and he was stupidly easy to beat into the ground
- Victory Road was fun I got to beat even more trainer's senseless
- Traded in a TM of Sludge bomb (Can only get in After Game)
- Taught Sludge bomb to Nuptup over Acid and Giga Drain over over Moonlight
- Taught Sriracha Dragon Claw over Brick Break and Aerial Ace over Wing Attack and Earthquake over Mega Punch
Elite 4
- Nuptup decided to do a little dance for Lorelie and sucked up her Pokemon's souls with Giga Drain (BTW What is Ice Beam's freeze chance becuase every one froze Nuptup)
- Nuptup ate the souls of the Onix and Sriracha did an Areial show for Bruno
- ZYNX psyched Agatha out
- Lance ZYNX Ice Beam and Sriracha Dragon Claw nuff said
- LAMEO was a team effort to beat using what ever could handle the situation

Team:

Nature: Naughty
Moves: Aerial Ace, Flamethrower, Dragon Claw, Earthquake

Nature: Timid
Moves: Scratch, Stun Spore, Cut, Flash

Nature: Brave
Moves: Sleep Powder, Petal Dance, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb

Nature: Mild
Moves: Lovely Kiss, Water Pulse, Ice Beam, Psychic

Nature: Modest
Moves: Bubble, Leer, Surf, Strength
I hope this one picture is enough if not here is a link to my photobucket account with all the pictures.

So I'm going to start my Pokemon Gold red mono color now.

Seeing you need to defeat Red to complete the challenge, not likely...

I got a few questions as well.

-Is there a time limit for a Pokemon to be "of the wrong color" (e.g. once Venipede evolves into Whirlipede, I need to grind it as much as possible (and ignore all other party members) until it becomes a Scolipede)?

-In Pokemon XY (though I lack a 3DS of my own), what if the target color has no Pokemon available before the first gym (The other games can get around this by PokeGen-ing a late game Pokemon, but Pokemon X/Y is a 3DS game, and 3DS is hack-proof)?

I found out vba can't handle gen 2 trading so I used a universal randomizer to disable trade evolutions.
Update 2:
- The randomizer set Scyther to evolve at lvl 30 so it evolves now.
- Continued grinding everyone up to lvl 33
- Beat the Kimono girls got surf taught to Totodile made it to Mahogany
- Killed the Red Gyardos because it would be called blue
- Blasted Team Rocket out of Mahogany Town
- Beat up Pryce
- Got to Olovine went through lighthouse
- Received the HM Strength
- Got Shuckie(HM slave) to teach strength
- Scissors sweeps Chuck
- Got Secret Potion gave it to Jasmine
- Fire Punched Jasmine's pokes
- Got a call from Prof. Elm telling me to go back to Golden Rod
- Kicked some Rocket Grunts out of the Radio Tower and Beat Ginger
- Caught a Jynx cause how else am I going to deal with Dragon Types named her Frostbite
- Grinded every one up to lvl 45 to beat Clair
- Beat Ginger in Victory Road
- Boxed all HM Slaves
Eilte Four:
- Picked on Will's secondary weaknesses with Magmos
- Koga Magmos sweeps again
- Bruno would be a Frostbite sweep if I had Psychic but I don't so some snow for onix and wings for fighting types
- Karen was a pain in the ass using sand attack and her hounddoom out speed everything on my team so I had to wall its flame with Magmos
- Magmos T- Punched Lance's Gyrados and Charizard Frostbite Ice Punched the Dragonite's and Areodactal
(Had to delete pictures of Clair, Bruno and Lance because people thought Frostbite's old nickname was too inappropriate)

That's harsh language! You're gonna get banned from PokeCommunity! Also, Shiny Pokemon are perfectly fine, so the Red Gyarados should be OK in a Red Monocolor run, even though Gyarados is officially listed as blue, since its Shiny Coloration is Red. (Yes, shiny Pokemon count as 2 colors at once.)

Also, a quick heads up. Grinding my Dwebble, she learned Bug Bite. And more astonishing, Dwebble learns 2 moves at consecutive levels. (It learns Bug Bite at Level 23, and another move at Level 24.)

Update to Pokemon White 2 Mono-Red Run.

However, I tried to post one before, but PokeCommunity was crass and gave me an "Access Denied, your not logged in." And when I relogged in, it did not post, so now I have to start all over from the begginning of the update.

-Ground Bellhop like Beef (Get the joke?)
-Evolved Bellhop from Dwebble to Crustle.
-Now that I think of it, Dwebble with Eviolite could be superior to Crustle for the Nimbasa Gym, since Crustle is actually SLOWER than Dwebble.
-Defeaed Elesa anyhow...
-The update ends after defeated Team Plasma in Nimbasa City.

Team

Teppy (Pignite Lv. 28)
Ability: Blaze
Moves: Arm Thrust, Defense Curl, Flame Charge, Rollout

Pokeymanz (Venipede Lv. 21)
Ability: Swarm
Moves: Pursuit, Rollout, Poison Tail, Screech

Lox (Corphish Lv. 20)
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Moves: BubbleBeam, Metal Claw, Harden, Vicegrip

George (Braviary Lv. 26)
Ability: Defiant
Moves: Wing Attack, Hone Claws, Scary Face, Aerial Ace

Bellhop (Crustle Lv. 36)
Ability: Sturdy
Moves: Dig, Faint Attack, Rock Slide, Bug Bite

Still afraid of evolving Pokeymanz into a Whirlipede. I would have to grind him like mad until he evolves into a Scolipede, since "wrong color" Pokemon need to evolve as soon as possible.

Also, where's my answer to Pokemon X/Y having no Pokemon of a specific color pre-first gym? Other games can get around this with PokeGen or something similar... but Pokemon X/Y? They're 3DS game. 3DS is a 100% hackproof system. (Too bad I have no 3DS of my own...)

I have I nice solution just trade in an egg and hatch it. I also have another update cause Johto's Kanto is so short and easy.

Final update
- Got S.S Ticket from Prof. Elm
- Sailed to Vermillion
- High tailed it on over to silent bridge to get the Super Rod
- Went back to Mahogany town to fish up a Remaraid named Kraken
- Did all of Kanto Routes that I could
- Back to Vermillion Aragog dug some holes trapping Lt.Surge
- Sabrina = Lots of Fury Cutters
- Erika asked for a Flame Thrower
- Janine got a few Psychics from Frostbite
- Misty ate a few Thunder Punches and some random attack to kill the quagsire
- Got the Machine part for the generator got expan. card for pokegear
- Pushed a fat tub of lard out of the way so I can get in Digglet's Cave
- Kraken wanted to go surfing with Brock
- Kraken meet Blaine, Blaine meet surf
- Got Blue to go back to his gym
- Blue was at least somewhat of a challenge
- Gound entire party up to lvl 60 to try to take out Red
Red Battle:
- Aragog did multiple digs to try to make that Pikacrap go away and only just succeeded
- Out comes Snorelax the thing that I can't hit for super effective damage so I swords danced up Scissors all the way to max ATK
- LOL Red sacrificed his Venusaur (I still didn't switch Scissors out)
- He brought in the Heat of his Team Charizard so Scissors said TTFN Kraken tried to surf it out but got obliterated so Magmos Thunder Punched it
- Red selected Espeon next so back came Scissors with more Swords Dances and Fury Cutter
- Last came Blastoise I tried to Wing Attack it but Scissors was to slow and got taken out so Magmos tried a Thunder Punch and got KO-ed after dealing some damage
Frostbite came out next to charm are way to Victory with some Lovely Kisses and packed a punch with Psychic

You don't need to grind like mad or anything, just evolve it when you get to L30 rather than canceling it, that's all I meant.

And, yeah, XY has trading capabilities, so that's what you would use if there aren't any Pokémon of your color before the second gym.

Still no update yet, but will have enough progress soon I hope.

Fire Red Red Mono-Color Challenge - Completed

I didn't document all my progress on this. I started two days ago and marathoned it, so i'll just document how things went in the important fights. For that matter, I was refusing to use items in battle, and I was on Set mode, so that made things more intense.
Spoiler:
First, the Gym Leaders.

Brock: First try I failed because Fuega (Charmander) was no match for Onix with Rock Tomb. So I evolved her into Charmeleon. Second try I missed with Metal Claw and lost. Third try he got two weak crits with Tackle, both of which mattered. Fourth try I lowered Onix’s Attack with Growl, then got a critical hit with Metal Claw. Geez. He was the only Gym Leader I didn't beat first try.
MVP: Fuega, because...she was the only team member, lol.

Misty: I had Fuega at Level 23 and two Level 21 Grass-types. Fuega 3HKOed Staryu with Mega Punch after she used Harden then healed. I survived Starmie’s Water Pulse and got in a Smokescreen, then another. After Fuega died, I brought in Squishy (Paras), paralyzed her and from there on just kept using Leech Life. She used Recover which was annoying, but I killed her with a critical hit from half health.
MVP: Squishy. He kept holding on against her with Leech Life and paralyzed her, which worked well in my favor.

Lt. Surge: I had Fuega at Level 27 and my other two at 24. I gave Dig to Squishy, so his first two Pokémon were a joke, even after Pikachu used Double Team twice. I had a Cheri Berry to save me from Pikachu’s Static. But when Raichu came out, hell broke loose. After I finally hit him with Stun Spore, he used a Full Heal so that was all for nothing. Dig came short of killing him and he healed, so I had to weaken him a bit with Leech Life before Squishy died. Then Fuega did absolutely nothing to him, and I managed to get in PoisonPowder with Pot (Gloom), and hit him with Absorb twice. I managed to win from poison damage with just Pot and Derpy Fish left, Pot with 5 HP and paralyzed. It was brutal, but I still won.
MVP: Pot, for hitting through +6 evasion with poison and multiple hits, living with 5 HP.

Erika: I had five Level 29-31s. Victreebel was weakened by Secret Power from Flurry (Flareon), and I even paralyzed her and got her down to red, but she paralyzed me right away and when I would have killed her I got fully paralyzed twice in a row. Ballpit finished her with SonicBoom. Tangela I had Ballpit (Electrode) lower to -4 Defense and actually hit decently hard with Spark, but she poisoned me and Ballpit died when she had a bit over half health. Squishy finished her off with Leech Life, but she was faster and poisoned me first. Lastly, Vileplume had Acid, but I put her to sleep with Spore. Leech Life didn’t do much at all and she woke up after one turn. Pot (who was still a Gloom at the time) was somehow faster, and put her to sleep. She woke up after two turns and paralyzed me, but I put her back to sleep. I hit her with Acid again and brought in Fuega, who finished her off from 40% with a critical hit Ember.
MVP: Not sure, each of my team members had a bit in so not one played a major part.

Koga: Complete pushover. His two Koffing were downed to a Psychic from Zynx (Jynx). I missed with Lovely Kiss against Muk the first time, but he only used Acid Armor and I hit with the second usage. He stayed asleep and I killed him with a few Psychics. When Weezing came out, I used Lovely Kiss, and he used a Full Heal, but it didn’t matter because Psychic killed him in one hit without a critical hit despite a five level disadvantage.
MVP: Zynx. Nothing else to say aside from that.

Sabrina: Every single team member was Level 41. Kadabra only used Calm Mind and died in one hit to Flurry’s Shadow Ball. So did Mr. Mime, except I was faster. Venomoth took well over half from Shadow Ball, but she confused me. So I brought in Ballpit, who then finished her off with Thunderbolt. Once Alakazam came in, I used Light Screen, took her Psychic easily, then brought in Flurry again as she used Calm Mind. She used Calm Mind again and I killed her with Shadow Ball. Total pushover.
MVP: Flurry. Killed three of her guys easily.

Blaine: My entire team was Level 42 or 43. Growlithe and Ponyta were downed to one Surf from Tidal Wave (Seaking). Rapidash lived Surf, but Tidal Wave still lived with around 2/3 HP. Arcanine hit hard with Take Down, but I switched in Flurry and he missed, then I survived another hit and he healed after Take Down recoil, and he killed Flurry. Ballpit barely failed to kill him and he killed me in one hit with a critical hit Fire Blast. Fuega finished him.
MVP: I guess Tidal Wave, although that Arcanine was just bogus.

Giovanni: My entire team was 43/44. Rhyhorn was downed to a Surf from Tidal Wave. So was Dugtrio, but not without him chipping off 2/3 my health with a critical hit Earthquake. Nidoqueen lived with like 1/4 before killing me, but Zynx then swept the rest of his team.
MVP: Zynx, swept the entire second half of his team.

My entire team was Level 56 going into the Elite Four.

Lorelei: I started by having Pot put Dewgong to sleep and get rid of her hail with Sunny Day. Then Solarbeam was an easy OHKO on, that, Slowbro and Lapras. Jynx survived my attack with around 40% and put Pot to sleep, but I brought in Fuega and scorched her and Cloyster with Flamethrower. Only reason I took any damage was because of the one turn hail was up.
MVP: Pot. Swept through her first three and put her next one to sleep.

Bruno: Zynx swept him in five turns. He didn’t even get to do anything to me.
MVP: Zynx. Nothing else to say.

Agatha: Her first Gengar used Double Team but Flurry hit through it with Shadow Ball. Golbat did over half to me with two Air Cutters, but I 2HKOed with Return in the meantime. For Arbok, I switched to Tidal Wave and got poisoned, taking half my health coming in. I did half to her with Double-Edge before dying. Fuega finished that off. Then her Level 58 Gengar came and was 2HKOed by Flamethrower. Haunter fell to one hit as well.
MVP: Flurry. Fuega was co-MVP.

Lance: Gyarados was slammed by Ballpit’s Thunderbolt. For his first Dragonair, I switched in Flurry, who took a bit over half from two hits of Outrage while I barely failed to kill him with Return. He healed, but Shadow Ball OHKO’d him with a critical. Aerodactyl then killed me with AncientPower, but I brought in Ballpit and he lived my attack, and used Scary Face. He used Hyper Beam, doing just over half, but I killed him. I blew up on his second Dragonair and killed it, then Zynx killed Dragonite in one hit with Ice Punch.
MVP: Ballpit for getting rid of three of his guys with ease.

Gary: For Pidgeot, Fuega’s Flamethrower was a 2HKO while Aerial Ace only did 1/4 to me.
Next was his ace, Blastoise. I brought in Pot, who took a Hydro Pump for around 1/3, then I used Sunny Day immediately after his Rain Dance, heheh. Solarbeam wasn’t quite enough to kill him, and he used Rain Dance. Then he healed, but my Giga Drain got me to full.
But then he switched out into Arcanine on my Sunny Day! Clever. I brought in Tidal Wave, who took a Flamethrower for 1/3. Then another, but he burned me, then I got in Rain Dance, but he killed me with ExtremeSpeed. Two hits of Fuega’s Earthquake left him with 1 HP, and I was below 1/4 my health, so I had to bring in Flurry. He survived one more ExtremeSpeed with exactly 1/5 his health and killed with Quick Attack.
Then was Rhydon. I had to let Flurry be death fodder, but I used Shadow Ball first and Pot killed him with Giga Drain.
After that was Alakazam. I switched in Zynx, and he lowered my Sp Def with Psychic, but thankfully I hit with Lovely Kiss. That allowed me to bring in Ballpit and blow up on him.
Then we had Blastoise again. I put him to sleep with Lovely Kiss, then I switched in Pot again. As he snoozed, he barely lived my Giga Drain, then he healed. I did half, lived his Hydro Pump easily, then killed him with my last Giga Drain.
Finally was Exeggutor. I put him to sleep, then switched in Fuega and finished him with Flamethrower for the win. Very fun final battle.
MVP: Very tough decision, but I have to give it to Pot for narrowly killing Blastoise with my last Giga Drain, since I had just Fuega and Zynx at around 1/4 health and I didn't want to use Sunny Day while he still had Exeggutor. Zynx gets co-MVP for two Lovely Kiss hits that helped.

Here was my final team:

That leaves Kalos and Kanto knocked off. I'll get started on Ruby soon.

This is for my Ultimate Red challege for Sapphire as I didn't what game I was doing next.
Update 1:
- Started a New Game usual beginning stuff
- Picked Torchic as my starter named him Flint he is way to Serious
- On way over to fight May I had many wild battles so Flint learn Focus Energy
- Won the Battle with May with a crit
- Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh people still trying to explain the game to me
- Caught 5 pickup zigzagoons because the only thing I can catch between here and Slateport is Wurmple
- Forced to talk to Norman
- Help catch Wally's Ralts
- Beat an Aqua Grunt in Petelburg Forest
- Got to Rustboro City but Flint is 2 lvl shy of being able to beat the gym so skip the gym for now
- Flint Evolved learning Double Kick
- On a side note those Zigzagoon's I caught have already paid for the Pokeball's used against them
- Flint knows Double kick so Rozanne was beat from the moment I stept into that gym
- Got the HM for cut one of the Zigzagoon's can learn it (Aren't they so helpful)
- Saved Peeko and got the Devon Good's back got a Pokenav and got a letter to deliver (I'M NOT A MAIL MAN!!!!!!!!!)
- Sailed to Dewford (I always Hated that place not even anywhere to shop now that pathetic)
- Pecked the s**t out of Brawly with crits provided by focus energy
- Got the HM for flash not that nothing that I have can learn it good thing I know this cave inside out delivered the Letter to Steven
- Went back to Rustboro to claim the exp share
- Asked Mr.Briney to take me to Slateport but he took me to a beach instead (Avoided the trainers like the plague)
- Got to Slateport boxed 1 Zigzagoon can caught Nuptup the Oddish (A repeat performer but so few options will evolve into vileplume upon getting a leaf stone)
- Delivered the Devon Goods to Caption Stern
- Did the cut trick house for some more Nuptup exp Nuptup evolved into Gloom
- Beat May again
- Grabbed a bike at Rydel's
- Took down cycling road
- Got the Coin Case
- Beat Wally
- Beat Watson with little effort
- Got Rock Smash and lookie there Zigzagoon can learn it (Still being useful place holders / HM Slave)
- Broke some rocks and a guy gave me HM Strength
- Beat Winstrate family
- Oh look it's some finally some more Red pokemon but wait there all fire types guess that make them kinda useless
- Found some Aqua Grunts steal a meteorite from inside Meteor Falls and they said something about Mount. Chimney so I decided to go there next
- Oh look there's trouble on Mount. Chimney and I have to stop it boring the least they could do is raise there pokemon so I can get some decent exp
- Took the Meteorite back to Prof. Cozmo
- Flanery was a challenge with that crazy overheating power that pushed Flint right to the edge and caused him to evolve
- Got the Go-googles (Why do I think this is a part from go-go gadget?) from May
- Went to the desert for very little training (I hate how there is no where to train for Norman's gym the desert has what 5 - 8 trainer yeah that really makes a difference *sarcasm*)
- Norman with his freaken powerhouse slakings are a pain literally but bulk up + double kick pulled through
- Got the HM for surf from Wally's Dad I don't have a water type right now so Zigzagoon can have it (But why can it surf?)
- A fisherman gave me a Good Rod that's good really it is because now comes my next team member back on Route 117
- After Several Magicrap's I found a Corphish at a decent level so I boxed another Zigzagoon

I've been planning on doing a Green Monocolor after my Red one, and a Yellow Monocolor after... Oooooh, Spoiler Alert.

Just grinding everyone so that Lox can catch up. Crawdaunt could prove useful against Clay.

- Did a bunch of side quests they are not mandatory so no talking about them except that Lobstar evolved
- Booted Team Aqua out of the weather institute
- Beat May again then she gave me the HM for Fly
- Knocked Winona out of the sky
- Remembered where the hell to find a Leaf Stone so Nuptup evolved again
- Around the Safari Zone I saw Team Aqua and they said something about Mt. Pyre but I don't want to go there quite yet so I arrived in Lilycove to set the Fly location and picked up Banana the Tropius (HM Slave)
- Made Team Aqua GTFO of Mt. Pyre
- Had to fight May just to get inside the department store
- Talked to some Team Aqua Grunts and found out they're going to try and steal a submarine and the only submarine I know of in Slateport so I flew back there on Banana
- When I arrived there they jumped into the submarine and took off
- So I whatevered it and went to talk to some Aqua Grunts again to see if I can make them spill what they are doing next
- Tate and Liza were just a few surfs from Lobstar
- Walked into Steven's house and got an HM for Dive (It's sucktacular so Lobstar stays far away from it)
- I did have a random Goldeen in storage so I tried it on it
- After Seaqueen made a quick dive I found where team Aqua took the stolen submarine so I decided to follow them prepared to stop any trouble they cause
- Found the mythical Kyorge (please tell I spelt that right) then Archie showed up and a battle soon started that I completely and utterly crushed him in
- After the battle Kyogre the Red orb activated and Kyorgre started a rampage then disappeared
- When I got outside the weather was really F'd up but I headed to Sotopolsis as directed to by Steven
- After Stumbling around without Flash I found the HM Waterfall and got to Kyogre and knocked it out
- I escape roped out of that cave and talked a bit to Steven
- Afterwords a challeged the 8th and final gym of this game
- I fought Wally at the end of Victory Road and won yawn like this was supposed to be a challenge
- Did a bit of grinding and traded Lobstar over to a FireRed save to learn Crunch
- Finalized their move sets
Elite Four + Champion
- Sidney was a joke
- Lobstar enjoyed the taste of Phoebe's pokemon's mashed bones
- Glaica was quite the challenge but a few missed Bilzards cost her the match
- Drake'ss pokemon were all OHKO'ed but against the flygons they kept paralyzing Lobstar and I had to use Nuptup as a Revive slave for Lobstar to finish the Slamence
- With Steven it came down to if Flint could land a crit Blaze Kick on that Metagross
Hall of Fame:
so that means of Hoenn at least for now

Team:

Okay so going to start Platinum next but I looked over all the Pokemon and it looks like all I would have for the First Gym that is a Rock type is Kricktune so I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips.

Well this update isn't going to be as bulky as my other ones were because my sister shutdown my computer and and my notes of what the hell happened weren't saved.

Platinum Update 1:
- With nothing but Krickatot available for me to use I reluctantly caught one and looked at its pathetic moves of bide and growl and Bug Bite at level 16 so I had to keep it a Krickatot until then
- After every single battle I had to go back to the Pokemon Center so annoying
- After what felt like an eternity I beat Luke (Rival)
- Upon being finished with the Oraburg mines Krickatot learned bug bite and evolved
- Roak was really challenging with both Onix and Geodude having Rock Throw but I beat him
- After getting a Badge from Gardina I found out I that I can catch a Meditite that I named Psykick
- Did a insane amount of grinding with Psykick
- Beat Team Galactic
- Caught Fantom the Rotom at the Old Chato
- Got to Hearthome City and tried to beat Fantina but couldn't
- Backtracked to a cave underneath Cycling Road to rescue the person there taking advantage of the instant healing she provided I got Psykick and Fantom to level 37
- During training Psykick evolved
- I went back to Fantina for a re-match and soloed her with just Psykick

Okay after all that I have a question. Can I change Rotom's form it would involve hacking but I would only hack in the item not change in through something like Pokesav.

Edit:
Thanks for letting change Rotom's form. And will make sure all the screenshots are cropped from now on.

If you are able to activate the event that gives you the Secret Key, then go for it. I know there are Mystery Gift editors around the interwebs. Also, it would be good if you could crop your screenshots - the bottom part isn't needed and takes up unnecessary space.

Update coming soon.

Announcement: I have updated the champions list up to this post, if you don't see your name let me know. Also, I have finally bit the bullet and will now allow for BW games to end after you defeat Ghetsis, not Alder.

Update on Ultimate Blue Monocolor Challenge.

Update #4 on Emerald.

  • Went to Lilycove City, then headed straight for Mt. Pyre, where I defeated Team Aqua and got the Magma Emblem.
  • During all that, Tuba evolved into Exploud!
  • Then I spend a couple hours on super speed looking for a Chimecho. Found one finally and named her Belle.
  • Defeated all the trainers around Lilycove and Mt. Pyre to level up Belle, then defeated May in front of the Dept. Store.
  • Armed with the Magma Emblem, I infiltrated the Magma Hideout inside Mt. Chimney and defeated Maxie.
  • Back in Lilycove City, I found the Team Aqua Hideout and defeated all the members in there as well.
  • My way now clear to Mossdeep City, I surfed over there and took on the gym.
  • Tate and Liza weren't much trouble to defeat, although Lagoon did fall to Solrock's Solarbeam.
  • I am now saved inside the Mossdeep Space Center.

I used a universal randomizer to get rid of trade evolutions so Porygon will evolve in to Porygon 2 when leveling up when holding the up-grade and will then evolve into Porygon-Z when leveling up holding the dubious disc. Magmar will evolve into Magmortar while leveling up holding the Magmarizer.
Platinum Update 2:
- Battled Luke on my way to Veilstone City
- In Veilstone a random guy gave me a quirky Porygon that I named Trojan
- I gave Trojan an upgrade
- Beat Maylene
- Got Dawn's Pokedex back
- Beat Luke at the Pastoria Gym
- Psykick "Relearned" Ice Punch (Psykick never knew it before did he?)
- Changed Fantom's form to the Lawn Mower
- Spent forever and half in the underground trying to dig up some shards to get Zen Headbutt for Psykick
- With Trojan recently learning Discharge and Fantom having Shockwave and Leafstorm via current form Wake was too simple and way dull to crush
- Story, story and ummm oh yeah and story for a long a** time
- Only thing that happened is getting the HM for Surf and catching another Magmar named him Magmos and evolved it into Magmortar
- Probably going to spend the next days at the Veilstone game corner pushing some coins out of those slots to get some much needed TM's
