    Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 FAQ

    With the release date for Black 2 and White 2 for Japanese players, this FAQ was made to cover any questions you may have about the upcoming games.

    What is Pokémon Black 2 and White 2?
    Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are the sequels to Pokémon Black and White. The games are set in an expanded Unova region (Isshu for Japanese players) two years after Black and White.

    When will the games be released?
    The games were released on June 23rd for Japan. The English versions of the games will be released in Autumn 2012.

    Can I play this on my DS?
    Yes. You can play the games on either the DS, DS Lite, DSi and 3DS, while there is a region lock on the DSi and 3DS versions.

    However, if you have a 3DS you will be able to access the Pokémon AR Searcher which can transfer the new Tornadus, Landorus and Thundurus formes to your games.
