First, how suggestible are you as a person? E.g. do you just believe everything that people tell you or are you more of a sceptic?

Second, how easily do you succumb to peer pressure?

(There's a sort-of link, isn't there...?)

would you like a cup of tea father?

I'm quite gullible but I don't give into peer pressure easily at all. I'm good at knowing what's best for me and what kind of suggestions should be taken or passed up, but I'll often believe random facts that are false if people say them convincingly :p

I will believe you unless you give me a reason not to. Even then, if it sounds too Farfetch'd, I'll probably look for other sources.

Peer pressure really doesn't affect me. I enjoy being unique, so I don't feel like I need to do anything to be more normal, or fit in with the cool kids or anything.

I'm so gullible in real life, I'll believe anything anybody tells me if they say it confidently enough. As I've mentioned in another post, there was an incident where my friend convinced me that the 18th Century philosopher Nietzsche was a guest star on Desperate Housewives lmao. There's also a stack of incidents at work, when this older guy I work with just says something off-hand and I'm like "what?!?!?!" only to discover minutes later he was only kidding and I'd fallen for it. Again.

As for peer pressure though, nope. I've been offered alcohol and an assortment of drugs in my time and I've refused each, no matter how much they try to convince me or pressure me into doing it. I think it's because I don't particularly care if people think I'm boring or lame. I already know this about myself and see no point in denying it lmfao.

I don't believe people when they say they did something extravagant or something. If it's something trivial, then I really wouldn't care, but if it sounds off, I probably wouldn't believe them until I get some solid proof. As for peer pressure, I don't dive into that often. I try to be independent and it's worked out pretty well so far, so why change that? Peer pressure doesn't affect me much.

I'm too trusting for my own good. It has to be extremely farfetched for me to be skeptical about it. It sucks sometimes. :(

As for peer pressure, it depends. On the whole, I don't think I bend too much? I'd have to go out more often to tell you if I do or not. And I don't.

I usually believe people when they tell me something, unless there are things about it that doesn't make sense that makes me suspicious. Like if someone told me that they were at the store, and a friend tells me they saw them at the mall a few minutes beforehand. But I'm usually incredibly indifferent about things people tell me, so I think that's a contribution to my trusting them. Example:

"Hey, I just found $400.00 on the street!"
"Okay...."

So most of the time it's just like, okay? Why are you telling me this?

For peer pressure, I don't really give into that, I do the opposite because I like being difficult.

You know, I'm pretty skeptic, and yet I'll probably believe anything my friends tell me because I trust them and don't expect them to lie about whatever. I guess I should just stop that though, turns out I can't as much as I thought I could.

And peer pressure, I guess I used to, I'm not sure whether I still do that now but yeah.

Ahhhhhhhh would you go on! (Always do that)

I can be if I am joking around, but I don't normally force a situation unless I feel it needs to be forced.

And I don't buckle under peer pressure, not at all. Never have and I doubt I ever will.

Tehehe. I'm too gullible. Far too gullible. I change my opinions easily too, if new things are presented that make me understand the other viewpoint better.

Don't start using me now.
