How would you, a human being, feel when you are forced to kill your own friend? How would you react when you are forced to fight your own kind even if you don't know him? How would you feel when you are forced to knock out a fellow boy or girl in a battle? Well you've done this to Pokemon...just to get badges and to be famous across the land, and now it is time for you to taste your own medicine. Now you will finally see how painful it is to battle, to faint and to be healed again day after day. The cycle ends now. The cycle ends today.

Feel the irony. Feel the pain. Feel how helpless you are.

This is the Pokemon Reversal, and we have a lot in store for you...

    - Pokemon Reversal

    - Beginning Phase

    - ??? at Route 203

    800px-Sinnoh_Route_203_Pt.png

That road over there was Route 203, often known as the route between Jubilife City and Oreburgh Gate.

This little path had nothing out of the ordinary; it was merely a little road acting as an intersection between two larger ones. Yet here, a whole new adventure was about to begin, ready to unfold before whoever had arrived to this insignificant place.

Trees couldn't been more common along this route, providing shelter for Pokemon...and maybe a couple of stray humans. The shadow of an unknown Pokemon revealed its master's presence as he hid behind a large oak tree. In front of him was the little dirt path which had welcomed a thousand of new Trainers throughout the 'glorious' Human years.

Today, it would welcome a hundred of new Pokemasters instead.

Without a sound, his eyes narrowed in attempt to have a better view of the tall grass across the road. They swayed gently against the welcoming summer breeze, dancing joyfully under Mother Nature's guidance.

A tad of emptiness lingered in his heart; Pokemon no longer dwelled in those areas, as they now lived in houses and buildings. Some Humans had set up a camp though, and a little trail of smoke from the middle of the grassland drifted into the azure sky. As the smoke thickened, the smell of burning wood drifted into his nose, making him sneeze.

"Well, the new Pokemasters from Jubilife would certainly find them," said the Pokemon, remaining hidden to everyone else, "Hm, if the Pokemasters are smart, they might even get to choose..."

He was right about that. The Pokemasters, regular Pokemon with strong elemental abilities were bound to defeat the defenseless humans. The little camp of humans, probably about five of them, wouldn't be able to protect themselves. He only had to worrying about having insufficient human beings to be captured there and not about the Pokemasters losing the fight; it was basically impossible for that to happen, anyway.

"The new Pokemasters would probably arrive any minute now...better stay hidden," he reminded himself, disappearing into a few bushes.

    - Pokemasters' First Step

    - Poketch Company, Jubilife City

    - - -

(note that the 'you' in this post doesn't really exist. This is only a post for the Pokemasters, making it easier for them to start their first posts. The Pokemasters should start right in the dark room, with the Pokeballs ready to be taken. Remember that the others would be next to you. When you five are all done, then feel free to proceed to Route 203.)

    - - -

As you walked into the Poketech Company Building, you instantly noticed that all the lights had been switched off, plunging the entire area into darkness. With a few other strangers at your back, you couldn't help but feel nervous and insecure in this dark environment, but you carried on without hesitation. A couple of white lights flickered above you, barely lighting up the darkness around them. With a little boom of energy, a couple of light bulbs flickered, then shone brightly onto a large rectangular table down below.

On top of the dimly lit table was a large case, waiting to be opened by the visitors. You slowly walked forward and reached for the unlocked trigger, eyes flashing with curiosity. With extreme caution, you opened the case and stared at the items before you: Five Purple Pokeballs sitting neatly in the case, shined and polished without a single fingerprint on their surfaces.

Five Human Pokeballs. Five new Pokemasters.

When you were about to reach for a Pokeball, the voice of an unfamiliar Pokemon echoed across the room, broadcasted by hidden speakers.

"Welcome, new Pokemasters, to the starting line of your journey! When you step out of this room, your adventure would begin, and may nothing stand in your way to success!

"However, first things first: Before you are five Poketch-modified Pokeballs, or Human Pokeballs, as you may call it. Remember to set the interior of your new Human Pokeball by holding it tight with your hands, tails, paws, claws etc etc, and imagining the desired landscape. You wouldn't want the Pokehuman to drift in nothingness, would you?

"Secondly, the Pokehuman would automatically be granted a random element when caught in the wild. There is also a large chance for them to have dual elements. When you are ready and confident, head towards Route 203 and capture a wild Pokehuman. Remember that they will play an important part in your journey, so think twice and act wise!

"Your main objective here is to gather the Eight Badges and to become the best Pokemaster in the Sinnoh Region. You are free to challenge the gyms at any time.

"I wish you the best of luck, and happy Reversal!"

    Silence.

    Now...

It's time for you to make your first move, dear Pokemaster.

(OOC: Yay it's started! First Post :D )

    Name: Azula
    Location: Poketch Company

    Flashback

Azula was walking alongside her Trainer Bryon. A boy no older than 15. He was tall with dark blonde hair and blue eyes dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans with sneakers. They where walking along route 27 when suddenly Azula heard a voice. "Pst, hey you Absol, over here"

Turning to the sound Azula spotted a wild Eevee staring at her and made her way over. "what do you want twerp" she growled coldly staring at the little eevee.

"we're spreading the word, in Sinnoh, the Pokemon are taking over, catching the humans instead of them catching up" The Eevee piped up not noticing the cold look he was getting from Azula.

"Whatever, get out of here" she growled menacingly smirking when the other Pokemon ran off without a glance back.

"Azula, are you okay?" Bryon asked making Azula look back to see him with that cursed Pokeball in his hand about to call her back.

'Oh Hell No' she snarled in her mind and jumped forward knocking the Pokeball out of Bryon's hand and breaking it in half. Ignoring the human's look of shock Azula growled at him and then ran away into the tall grass.

    End Flashback

Snapping out of her thoughts of how she had gotten where she was now Azula looked around the room she was in she looked around. All the lights where off and there were no windows leaving them in pitch black. She knew there were a few other Pokemon around her but she didn't care about them. Noticing how dark it was Azula couldn't help but smirking to herself. Because it was so dark and her fur so black the only thing that could be seen were her piercing red eyes. Several light bulbs were flickering until they stopped shining light upon a rectangular table with a case on it, a case which Azula moved right up to and opened with her tail seeing the five purple Pokeballs sitting inside. Curious she reached her tail for one only to stop right away.

"Welcome, new Pokemasters, to the starting line of your journey! When you step out of this room, your adventure would begin, and may nothing stand in your way to success!" a voice rang out making Azula growl slightly.

    "who's there!"

"However, first things first: Before you are five Poketch-modified Pokeballs, or Human Pokeballs, as you may call it. Remember to set the interior of your new Human Pokeball by holding it tight with your hands, tails, paws, claws etc etc, and imagining the desired landscape. You wouldn't want the Pokehuman to drift in nothingness, would you?" the voice continued and Azula scoffed slightly. She knew all too well how horrible the Pokeballs had been, hers had been nothing but darkness, and sure she liked the dark but it did get tiring after awhile.

"Secondly, the Pokehuman would automatically be granted a random element when caught in the wild. There is also a large chance for them to have dual elements. When you are ready and confident, head towards Route 203 and capture a wild Pokehuman. Remember that they will play an important part in your journey, so think twice and act wise!" the voice kept going without pause and Azula scowled. Get on with it already

"Your main objective here is to gather the Eight Badges and to become the best Pokemaster in the Sinnoh Region. You are free to challenge the gyms at any time. I wish you the best of luck, and happy Reversal!"

Once the voice stopped Azula touched one of the Human Pokeballs with her tail and closed her eyes imagining a small but cozy wooden cabin in a clearing surrounded by trees, with a small pond and stream to the left side of it. After a moment she opened her eyes again and put the Human Pokeball she had chosen into the brown bag around her stomach. She didn't even acknowledge the other Pokemon there just walked out of the room ready to start her journey.

During her time in this world, she always wondered if this was the path she wanted. Who knew that she would live to see the day Pokemon would overthrow the Humans. To her, that idea was no more than a nightmare...but it came true. No matter how you slice it, something was odd about this new world. Even to the point of lunacy. At first she didn't want to become a Pokemaster, thinking it was a ridiculous title...but somehow she had fears of the consequences if she didn't. With that in mind, she continued on to her destination.

In a pitch black room, her thoughts ran wild with the infinite possibilities of what might lurk in the darkness. Any Pokemon could jump out and instantly tackle her to the ground; in this case some human. She made her way through the darkness, the flickering lights showing a second of what the room really looked like. At one point she saw some beast-like figure, but quickly disappeared out of her sight once the lights dimmed. It was unlikely she could get assaulted at a place like this, or with her current powers that is.

A blast of light suddenly overcame her eyes, making her blink and raise her arms to block the intensity. When they dimmed down and flickered a couple of times, a table was shone by the bath of light. There sat some sort of case. She was about to make a dash when she suddenly saw a dark figure walk up to it first. With the swift movement of its sharp tail, it snapped the case open to reveal 5 purple pokeballs. Not wanting to disturb the stranger, she raised her hand and was about to lift one of the devices until she was suddenly interrupted by a loud, unfamiliar, unsettling voice.

"Welcome, new Pokemasters, to the starting line of your journey! When you step out of this room, your adventure would begin, and may nothing stand in your way to success!" This caused who ever was in front of her to growl deeply. After a while of taking a good look at the Pokemon, she realized it was an Absol. What a surprise, to bump into such a rare Pokemon like this.

"However, first things first: Before you are five Poketch-modified Pokeballs, or Human Pokeballs, as you may call it. Remember to set the interior of your new Human Pokeball by holding it tight with your hands, tails, paws, claws etc etc, and imagining the desired landscape. You wouldn't want the Pokehuman to drift in nothingness, would you?" it revealed, making Aurora's curiosity peak. Change and alter the landscape within? Oh how much fun she will have toying with a human. She could make him suffer, or make him go into a world where Spoinks could fly. Oh the joy.

"Secondly, the Pokehuman would automatically be granted a random element when caught in the wild. There is also a large chance for them to have dual elements. When you are ready and confident, head towards Route 203 and capture a wild Pokehuman. Remember that they will play an important part in your journey, so think twice and act wise!" the voice kept going without stopping. She wondered if they were being watched, and if there were others watching her at this very moment.

"Your main objective here is to gather the Eight Badges and to become the best Pokemaster in the Sinnoh Region. You are free to challenge the gyms at any time."

"I wish you the best of luck, and happy Reversal!"

The voice left without warning, leaving her to stand there in awkward silence. She watched as the Absol stopped to imagine her pokeball's dreamscape. What ever the Absol was imagining, it wouldn't compare to the one Aurora was going to give it. Once it left with a dash to the door, Aurora walked over to the rectangular table and glanced at the ball. Crossing her arms, she pondered about what landscape to give to the "unfortunate" human. 'Maybe in a mountain where the moon is always up? Or a circus where there is no audience or actors, just a barren display. Perhaps....a world where the land floats in the air. Yes,' she thought. It was strange and out of the ordinary, but it was the way she liked it. Without hesitating, she placed her hand over the polished, smooth surface of the Pokeball. Closing her eyes, she imagined the sky with islands dotting the view. Some were the size of a square mile, while others were only the size of a small court yard. All had lush grass spread over it, small ponds and lakes even. Trees roamed everywhere, fruits dominating every single one. Opening her eyes, she sighs about what to do next. The dreamland she envisioned was strange, but now that she thinks about it, her prisoner will NOT be bored. Look at the landscape! Flying islands? How bored can they be? Unless....they fall....but what are the odds of that? One out of five? That was a small percentage to Aurora.

Taking one last glance at the table, her hand gripped the ball and took it out of its resting place. She headed towards the exit, but before she was out of the building, she swiveled around and glanced behind her. Who was the one who was speaking over them not too long ago? She spaced out, her train of thought taking a different direction. In a matter of seconds, she suddenly crashed into the wall. 'Where did the wall come from?' she whined and stepped back. 'Well, at least it snapped me out of my confusion,' she sang to herself mentally, walking out as if nobody noticed.

I think I'm getting closer to familiar territory now, Haru thought as he trudged through the thicket of a forest. It began feeling like days since he had the chance to rest (probably because it was), but he had to keep going. He had only just escaped his Whimsicott's eye, but he found it fortunate that it was her this time. Most of his other Pokemon had special means to find him, and he was now finding it difficult to deal with the only one that had to look for him the old-fashioned way.

Cursing to himself, the young man stopped; leaning against a tree for support. He took deep breaths in while trying to be as quiet as possible with his exhales. Stopping set his limbs on fire. "****... this is not what I thought was in store for me..." Haru groaned as he tried to bend over and massage his leg muscles. Missing his ride in Pastoria City meant that he had to run all the way to this very point. It was fine at first, but evading every single Pokemon that came his way was annoying. Why couldn't it be like before? Not every person hunted Pokemon every day, so why were there so many Pokemon after Humans? Had the news already spread to other nations? Or were there just so many more Pokemon? This trip to Sinnoh was already a complete disaster!

"Okay, I just need a few more seconds--" Haru said to himself, cut off by a sharp pain in his stomach. Bracing himself, he winced as the pain ran its course. Hunger. He was forced out of the marshlands and Eterna Forest so quickly that he never had time to actually find some place to eat. It wasn't like he could go back into town and claim to be another Pokemon's servant; he'd never be able to pull off pretending to be able to understand all those Pokemon again. Besides, the leftover money he had was running low (thankfully Pokemon seemed just fine with keeping the international currency). Hunger pain over, Haru slowly stumbled along his original route. He had to find out where he was. His vision was blurring from lack of sleep, but he kept himself focused with the sheer force of his will.

Pushing his way though the thicket, the young man was nearly blinded by the light of the sun as he entered the familiar field of Route 203. Letting his eyes adjust, as poorly as that was, the first thing he made out was smoke billowing up from nearby. No, no way, Haru thought, a vexed frown on his face as he tried to take steps away from the camp nearby, Setting up a fire in the daytime? Either they're fools or it's a trap. I need to get out of here... His first idea was to hide out in the cave leading to the next town. If he could keep quiet and avoid the Pokemon inside he might be able to rest inside and get some of his energy back. At least, it would have been a good idea. Haru's stomach pleaded as his eyes caught the sight of an Oran Berry Tree. Not listening to reason, he continued to stumble towards the tree.

It wasn't fated to be, however. As soon as he was half way, fully out in the open for anyone to see, he accidentally tripped on a branch resting on the ground. Plummeting with audible crushing of grass underneath him, his ankles cried out in pain. The temporary relief in his legs also faded into pain, and his stomach and sore eyes completed the set; Haru hurt everywhere. He tried to force himself up, put on a brave face and charge for the tree, but his fight for survival took its toll. Rolling onto his back, his limbs wilted with exhaustion as he lazily stared up into the sky. He could see the smoke in the corner of his eye; he wasn't too far away from that camp.

Haru sighed as the wind picked up. Gently embracing him and making the grass lightly tickle his face, he felt it was lulling him to sleep. By now, he didn't even care. It didn't matter to him if his freedom remained absolute; what freedom did he have to celebrate if he was always running away? "... I give up," Haru groaned to himself, closing his eyes as he let his body relax. It was hard to tell if he was still awake or dreaming, but he refused to trail out of focus. He kept his mind focused on the light breeze; the only definite thing he knew was happening. "No more of this... Just catch me if that's my fate..."

  • Cyrus' luck over the last couple of days kept getting worse and worse. If his downward stroke of luck kept up like this he would soon be dead, or worse a slave to one of those **** monsters. Several had tried to make him a pet, but he had fought them off or run away. However both of those options were now exhausted after that black haired cat, dog, or whatever that electricity shooting thing was caused him to wreck his bike. Stupid thing shot a lightning bolt through his right shoulder knocking him off his bike causing him to break his left leg, bruise some ribs, and gave him numerous scrapes and bruises all over his body. Let's not forget the nasty hole in his right shoulder that constantly reminded him of his situation not only with pain but the lingering scent of burnt flesh.

The only stroke of luck Cyrus has had is that his bike had slammed into the creature, killing it with irony. That and somehow he was still alive despite his bad situation. He needed medical attention as soon as possible, or that would likely change. Looking up he saw a small plume of black smoke lazily drifting into the sky. The question was now: should he risk capture in hopes of getting medical attention? 'Better death than to be turned into a slave,' thought Cyrus as he moved through the forest at a 45 degree angle from the area the smoke came from. Perhaps he could look at it from a distance and see whose camp it was… no too risky. Looking down at his left leg and its horribly thrown together splint and tourniquet made from some branches and his torn t-shirt, he frowned he was a fighter not a survival expert. Correction he was a fighter unable to fight, how could he fight with one leg and one arm badly wounded especially if he ended up fighting one of those Pokemon with powers?

After another 20 minutes of slowly limping he was in a spot where the smoke was rising 90 degrees from his current heading. Sighing Cyrus leaned against a tree and slid down it carefully. He then started adjusting his splint carefully bringing him lots of pain. His attempt at a "survivor's splint" was subpar at best and then there was his numerous other wounds. He quickly checked his other wounds with a grim look on his face. It was only a matter of time until they got infected. To make matters worse he was dehydrated, and had nothing to drink. Looking up at the sky just giving up and staying here until he died seemed appealing, but that wasn't Cyrus. He was a fighter until the end. "Is the reward worth the risk?" asked Cyrus out loud to himself as he looked at the smoke again. 'Well if pokemon do come… I'll resist, and in my condition it's likely I will be killed by them. All I need to do is focus on deflecting those stupid Huballs… better death than slavery. Anyway giving up now is not an option,' thought Cyrus as he forced himself to his feet. Massive surges of pain shot through his body as he rose to his full height. He clenched his teeth as he rose to help fight the pain. "Come on stop being such a wimp… you've been in worse condition before," muttered Cyrus as he limped toward the smoke.

After watching the camp for several seconds from the safety of the tree line to make sure it was a human's camp he started toward it as quickly as he could with weird looking hops to prevent putting much weight on his left leg. He hated being out here in the open add that 'I'm here beacon' only the desperate or stupid would have pulled a stunt like this. 'Well guess I'm a little of both,' thought Cyrus as he forced a smirk through all the pain. Getting close to the camp he said in a pain filled yet defiant voice, "Hey does anyone have any medical supplies?" Intruding on the strangers' camp he sat down next to the fire and said, "You realize you can see the smoke from at least a mile away?" He let out a pain filled sigh as he settled into a sitting position. He wasn't going to be very patient with these people. His plan was simple try to get the supplies he needed then get out. He looked at the other humans from behind his sun glasses as he tried to be nice.

  • DeepImpact's Character - Daryl Connors

"There...much better," Daryl said to himself while placing a few more wooden planks into the burning camp fire. The flames quickly erupted with another level of prosperity while a larger amount of smoke drifted into the clear skies. Daryl knew very well that setting camp here wasn't the greatest idea ever, but the boy had been trapped between two towns for quite a while, and it would only be a matter of time till a Pokemaster picks him up. He figured that putting up a fight had to be a better solution, even though if the fire had made him a sitting duck.

"Plus, more humans would probably pass by, and the Pokemasters can't really stop a whole crowd of rebels, can they?" said Daryl, smiling at his own 'excellent plan'. Right now, he needed help from other humans. If they could form a team, getting captured would be even more difficult.

Searching for wood, he got up to his feet and scanned the surroundings, his eyes slowly landing on a piece of wood with the size of a baseball bat. An idea came to his mind, and the camper reached for the wood, place the tip above the fire. In less than a minute, the wood had caught fire thanks to the coat of oil rubbed onto the surface.

"They'll love this torch," Daryl smiled while holding his little handiwork, admiring it from all angles, "They won't be able to come close. I'd like you to go through THIS, Pokemasters!"

The boy had often underestimated his enemies, and this time was probably no different. Daryl was too busy admiring his own work that he didn't notice that someone had arrived from behind. "Hey does anyone have any medical supplies?" someone asked, and the torch-boy quickly twirled around, spotting a limping man at his young twenties. The strangers sat down next to the fire and said, "You realize you can see the smoke from at least a mile away?"

"Don't have any. I can't even leave this route," Daryl replied with a casual shrug, "And yeah, I do. But they'll find me without the fire anyway. Figured that the fire can help us to a certain degree before that eventually happens. I think you better stay here for a while until that...leg heals up. Looks rather serious judging by your movements."

Deep inside, Daryl felt relieved to have someone else on his side. After all, the more humans the merrier. He couldn't see what was hiding under the man's sunglasses though...he could be someone dangerous. But then again, Daryl had no choice but to let him stay for now.

Sunglasses are in trend right now? I had no idea...

At the same time, the shadow of a Pokemon watched from behind a tall bush, staying hidden to everyone, "More humans...this would be fun for the Pokemasters," he murmured before dashing away, causing the leaves to rustle.

With his mind fully alert, it wasn't difficult for him to hear the mysterious rustles. Daryl peered into a nearby bush but saw nothing but a few ladybugs, "...What was that?"

Daryl's short attention span quickly knocked his curiosity away, and he sat beside the injured stranger, "Well I'm sure we're not going down with a fight! Plus! The fire's really useful in many ways."

The camper then reached for a little black box resting on the sandy ground, opening it and revealing a dead, skinned body of a Starly, "She'll make a good meal," he purred a bit, skewering it with a wooden pole he had carved out a day ago and placed it over the fire, cooking the bird type, "They taste better than chicken. I'll leave you a Starlywing when this one's done. They're easy to catch too. A little slingshot and boom, they'll plummet from the skies. Who says that a boy can't defend himself?"

  • Marisole tried to blink back the darkness that was around her, but there was just too much of it. The heat from several other Pokemon filled the room, making for a very uncomfortable atmosphere for her. Darkness was never a close friend of hers, and the crowd made her feel as if she was running on limited oxygen. Not being able to see her company was adding to her hyperventilated state, but she was, thankfully, good at keeping such things to herself.

Some of the lights above flickered momentarily, taking some of the edge off of Marisole's panic. It gave her the smallest chance to get a little glimpse of those around her, enough to remind her that none of these Pokemon were dangerous. At least, they weren't of any trouble to her. Another minute of flickering led to the lighting of a table in front of them all. There was a case atop of the table, and she watched curiously as one of them opened it.

Inside were five Pokeballs. No, that's not quite right, she thought to herself. These Pokeballs were purple, and something sparked in her, making her realize just what they were. These are the Human Pokeballs.

Against her inner judgement, Marisole reached her hand slightly forward to grab one of them, but a voice stopped her in her tracks.

"Welcome, new Pokemasters, to the starting line of your journey! When you step out of this room, your adventure would begin, and may nothing stand in your way to success!"

The voice caught her a bit off guard, and she took an extra step back. She would have called out to the voice, perhaps to ask exactly who they were, but something told her that wasn't very important at the moment, so she left it alone.

"However, first things first: Before you are five Poketch-modified Pokeballs, or Human Pokeballs, as you may call it. Remember to set the interior of your new Human Pokeball by holding it tight with your hands, tails, paws, claws etc etc, and imagining the desired landscape. You wouldn't want the Pokehuman to drift in nothingness, would you?"

A desired landscape? That wasn't something she'd ever really thought about. What kind of environment would she want them to live in? Shouldn't that depend on the human themselves? Or perhaps the point was to specifically pick something they wouldn't enjoy.

"Secondly, the Pokehuman would automatically be granted a random element when caught in the wild. There is also a large chance for them to have dual elements. When you are ready and confident, head towards Route 203 and capture a wild Pokehuman. Remember that they will play an important part in your journey, so think twice and act wise!"

How exactly would she choose a human? It wasn't like she could tell what they were like before capturing them. Even if she tried to, she doubted they would want to be around her voluntarily.

"Your main objective here is to gather the Eight Badges and to become the best Pokemaster in the Sinnoh Region. You are free to challenge the gyms at any time. I wish you the best of luck, and happy Reversal!"

Marisol waited for whoever was speaking to speak again, but that didn't seem to be happening. She watched as the others grabbed their Human Pokeballs, and she managed to grab one as well, taking a few steps back after doing so. Closing her eyes, she held tight to the Pokeball in her hands. The only image she could muster was that of a big, green field. All that the field contained was grass and a tangled mass of trees. The field sat on top of a hill that had a flat top, but she couldn't imagine anything below it. She assumed either the hill would go on and on if the Human were to travel down, or they would just meet with darkness.

She opened her eyes and the mouth of her horn at the same time, tossing the Pokeball inside of it. It was a good thing her horn couldn't actually swallow anything, or she would have lost many of her things by this point. Giving a few quick glances around at the few who still remained, she smiled lightly, though she had her doubts that any of them paid enough attention to her to notice. So without saying a word to any of them, she turned around and headed for the exit, ready to move on to the next chapter in her life.

  • Lyrica Frost

Mittens, new Pokemaster, Mittens, new Pokemaster, Mi- "UUUGGH, WHY IN THE WORLD DID MY ONLY POKEMON LEAVE ME HERE?!" She didn't care if anyone else can hear her annoying loud voice, but thinking of how thick the forest is, she presumed that no one did. "Geez. Sure, she decided to abandon me because she was afraid of hurting me or whatever, but what if I fell in to the hands of someone worse? OH, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD." If only there was some sort of soft thing to bang her head onto, she would have done it; sadly, all she sees are trees plus bushes, but the odd thing is that her eyes haven't caught sight of any Pokemon in the area. Maybe they're hiding or preparing to ambush me, the teenager thought as she continued to walk to the only direction she can go to -- forward. Well, whatever. Her eyebrows then met, showing the scowling face of Lyrica Frost.

It wasn't fun to be hunted, and she knew it. Well, whether she was or not, the seventeen-year-old was fully aware that she'd eventually end up being captured by the so-called Pokemasters. She has no idea how the whole 'Reversal' thing happened, but there was nothing she can do to stop it; it's actually rather surprising to see her taking this thing better than anyone would have ever expected -- they all thought she'd go rampaging here and there, yet Lyrica was a little-more-composed person than that. She's actually pretty excited to see what element she'd be; if she was given the chance to choose, she'd most likely pick Ice because, well, it'd suit her surname as well as overall appearance. Heck, it was as if she was born to be an Ice-type! That would mean she'll be more susceptible to fire, however, and she already dislikes the heat, so maybe being part-Fire would be good -- that way, it'll match her 'usual' personality.

As Lyrica continued to wander around the forest, looking for the exit, her nose picked up the smell of... something burning. The heck? Someone's... what, camping? IN THIS WEATHER? It was already somewhat hot, thanks to the blazing sun shining down on the region, and for someone to set a campfire, well... the teenager wouldn't bother to wonder why. Nonetheless, she made her head face the sky -- fortunately, the leaves of the trees of various sizes were enough to cover most of the sun's light -- and saw a thick-enough-to-be-seen black smoke. Deciding to know where exactly it was coming from, the fiery young lady headed towards the originating direction of the smoke.

When she was about halfway -- or so she estimated -- through, a thought came into her mind: What if the fire was created by Pokemon? That would't be good; but if it was man-made, then maybe, just maybe, she'd get to have possible companions. Then again, would that even be possible? Given how crazy the world is now, would she be able to have any human friend at all? Huh. Pokemon did manage to befriend even those that belong to other people, so I just hope it wouldn't be different for us. Shaking her head, Lyrica shrugged off the questions and went on. Whatever happens, she'll have to accept it.

A couple of minutes later, the teenager got out of the forest and saw what was going on in Route 203: On a certain spot lies the fire burning on top of some pieces of wood; there were also two people, who had their backs on her, a few steps away. One was a blonde; the other, brunette. They were both boys, Lyrica was certain of that, but whether they're trustworthy, she'll know it later on. For now, she'll just sit on her current location, waiting if they'll notice her or not. What will I do if they did? Ah, well, I'll think of something, she spoke in her mind.

  • Cyrus looked over at the source of the sound with a frown. 'Have we been spotted?' he wondered before looking back at Daryl. Shaking his head Cyrus said while slowly and painfully standing, "Fighting at this point is foolish. If you think your pathetic fire is going to do more than cook your last meal as a free human, and attract unwanted attention then you are a idiot." Finally getting stable on his feet and establishing his balance on his one good leg Cyrus looked down at Daryl with a smirk before saying, "Despite not being very intelligent, you do have more will and guts than most humans and I can respect that at least. Best of luck to you, you're going to need it soon."

Cyrus then turned and limped back toward the forest as fast as he could. The uneasy feeling he had since that bush unnaturally moved was growing. He fought through the pain as he started to use his left leg more than he should have. To ignore the pain he thought back on one of the many fights he had been in… 3 broken ribs, 2 more cracked ribs, a punctured lung, a broken nose, a broken arm, several broken fingers, several cracked bones, a bunch of other bruises and wounds, and plenty of internal bleeding. He should have died that night, but he did survive despite the odds. Smirking Cyrus whispered to himself, "I'm one tough Wolf…" He then miss stepped and put most of his weight on his left leg. The result was bad... Really bad. His broken shin bone slipped from its loose position and cut through his flesh. The exposed bone couldn't support him any further and he fell to the ground with a grunt of pain. Looking at the wound Cyrus cursed as he scrambled to undo part of his splint to use the cloth to stop the bleeding. 'Could my luck get any worse?' thought Cyrus to himself. Looking around he saw a girl watching him. Nodding at her he asked, "Do you have any medical supplies or skills?" His voice was strangely calm despite the worsening wound that was making a small pool of blood in the grass.

    Name: Azula
    Location: Jubilife City

Azula looked around as she exited the Poketch Company. She wanted to go find herself a human right away but wanted to make sure she had enough supplies first. As she looked around she spotted a bench and made her way over to it jumping onto it and sitting down before un-clipping her bag from around her waist with her tail. Setting the bag in front of her Azula opened it and looked through it.

"Lets see, I have a few berries left. Will have to get more of those. Need some potions...have to get water can't start travelling without water"

Nodding to herself she put her bag back on and hopped off the bench running towards the Poke-mart. When she reached it she walked in and went around grabbing a few Pecha, Oran, Cheri, Chesto and Rawst berries because one could never be to careful. She then grabbed a few potions and several bottle of water before going to the counter and looking coldly at the Psyduck that rang up the cost of her purchase.

"That'll be 175 poke dollars" the Psyduck said his tone full of boredom.

Azula bit her tongue to keep in her response and put the money on the counter putting the items in her brown waist-bag. "T-Thank You" she forced out before rushing from the store. She hated interacting with other Pokemon, over everything else she just hated...no loathed it. As she was walking she ran into a Mawile and growled angrily. "Watch were your going twerp!"

Alyssa awoke to a light breeze sweeping throughout the tree in which she had been 'camping' in. She drearily rose from her make-shift bed which was formed by two of the tree's branches and 3 very large leaves that were slowly rotting but amazingly still managed to hold her weight.

"Great, another perfect day in wonderland & i'm stuck in this stupid tree" Alyssa bitterly moaned, as she started to manoeuvre around the branches. The only thing she could think about was the hoards of pokemon now living in the vicinity of Jubilife. Alyssa had been burnt, drenched & brutally attacked in the last few days alone, but nothing could compare to the pain of loneliness up in the tree.

How much longer can I last up here? She thought to herself while searching the dense tree for something to eat. Her hand rummaged through the thick branches overhead, ripping at every twig & leaf she could. However, every single fruit evaded her grasp.

"Congratulations Alyssa, you've won a life time of hiding in tree's & scrambling around the forest floor for food, what are you gonna do next?" She sarcastically muttered. Alyssa started to climb up her tree, however she stopped after seeing a large cloud of smoke.

"Is someone really stupid enough to make a fire during the day?" She sighed questioning whoever made the fire's intentions. Another breeze spread through the area, bringing the scent of a roasting Starly to Alyssa's nose. Her stomach growled at the very thought of food.

Alyssa began to crawl out on one of the longer branches to try get a better look. "Oh, someone's having a barbecue, I love Barbecue's. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if I took some for myself." She said with a rather evil tone in her voice. Alyssa immediately leapt down onto the forest floor, hitting the ground hard. However this didn't stop her and she continued straight away, running at a full speed towards the camp site.

But, lying in the road in front of her was a man no older than 18 sleeping. Alyssa who was too intent on trying to get food, didn't notice him & in less then ten seconds, she ran straight into him. She started to tumble to the ground, ending up with her face a few centimetres underground. Alyssa turned around to see what she had tripped over and was very surprised when she found out it was a boy.

"What are you doing lying in the middle of the street? You'll be captured in no time if you just lie there" She said with a tone of remorse & a face full of mud.

Haru made a small "gahh!" in pain as he suddenly felt someone not only kick him in the side, but also tumbled over him. Well, this isn't a dream, Haru thought as he hesitantly readied himself to see what had hit him. Opening one eye in curiosity, he found it fortunate that the shade reached his face and didn't leave his weary eyes to open up to the sun. Resting them seemed to do wonders, though, because he was able to see clearly. Now if only the rest of his body would ease as well as the eyes did... maybe that was for the best. If he had the extra energy to spare he probably would have laughed at the girl that now had mud on her face.

He was curious and may have wanted to ask why she didn't manage to see him, but as the wind came back he also smelt the Starly cooking at the camp. Whether it was hers or not, that was probably what she was after. Haru couldn't blame her. His stomach took no time to erupt with growls; his torso knotted up in pain as every muscle close to the organ stated to complain as well. He wasn't sure what he was going to do.

"I... Don't worry about me, I've officially hit "zero,"" groaned Haru, but tried to at least not sound as pitiful as he was at the moment, "I'm all out of energy-- it's a miracle I'm even awake-- after running around this d**n continent trying to avoid my own Pokemon. I can't move, I can't sate my hunger; I can only stay here and hope that either no Pokemon will come or that the one that catches me will be kind enough to aid me. Regardless of whichever outcome occurs I'm hopeless right now. Hopeless and useless to anyone's survival. Save yourself and get out of here."

A light blush appeared under the teen's eyes as they shifted away from the girl; he had no idea where that case of babbling came from. He couldn't remember the last time he had been so talkative (least of all willing to talk). Although, he had no other choice. He couldn't go anywhere on his own, and he had already surrendered. If he was to be enslaved by a Pokemon, it was going to happen. Why not tell someone else it was hopeless to try?

Then again, he had a conflicting desire of companionship flaring up. He didn't want to be a nuisance, but a part of him wanted someone to try and help him. Going back-and-forth through the whole Sinnoh region who-knew-how-many times made him very lonely on the inside. He wanted to be able to depend on someone else (maybe not a new master, though), but that wasn't a majority in his personal feelings. Even as a minor notion, though, it was strong enough to combat the thoughts that told him not to drag people down with him. It made him anxious; was he going to push everyone away or seek help? Was he going to tell people to run or stay back and try to help him too? Was he going to keep himself from bonding with others or risk the heartbreak of (possibly) never seeing them again?

Of course Haru wasn't going to say or ask about any of this conflicting feelings stuff; that would just be too embarrassing. Maybe more embarrassing than falling flat on your face and getting mud all over it... or maybe not.

  • Lyrica Frost

For just a few minutes ago, she was sure that the brunette guy was beside the blonde one, and now he was somehow near her -- in a tremendously horrible condition. Lyrica couldn't imagine how a person could possibly survive in that state; he appeared to be seriously... injured. The question of the other human didn't register in her mind until she slapped herself to see if she hadn't fallen asleep and that this wasn't a dream. "I-I'm sorry, but I... I don't have any," she stammered, horrified at the sight before her as well as concerned about the man. She wanted to help, but what can she do? The only things in her small backpack were her doll shoes and... that was it. She would've brought a brush with her, yet she didn't really care about how messy her hair is. As for money, the teenager also had none -- she gave what was left of it to her Glameow because she believed that she no longer needed it, what with the Pokemon being the ones to be in charge of them.

Now feeling a little panicky, Lyrica scrambled to her feet and rushed over to the bleeding guy. She was also quite afraid, as everything about him seemed gory, but she needed to help. How, she wasn't sure. There has to be a way to be give some aid to this guy, her frantic mind mentally said. "Well, is there... is there anything that I can do?" Ugh, what a lame question. I should probably go get someone to take care of this brunette, but I couldn't just leave him alone here; wild Pokemon may finish him off. Trying to end the debate going on with her, Lyrica spoke for one last time... for now. "I really have no idea what I should do... I'm sorry." A panic-packed tone could be heard from the last statement.

She couldn't believe herself. There's a huge chance for the man to die any second soon, and yet she's not doing anything.

  • Cyrus looked up at the girl who had been in the forest he had almost reached before his leg gave way. 'No she wouldn't be strong enough to drag me into the forest,' thought Cyrus as he undid his splint and started wrapping what was left of his T-shirt above the wound. He had removed the shirt to make the splint and now he had to use it to make a tourniquet. Good thing he had his jacket which he had zipped up so his chest wouldn't be exposed. Not that his very well kept body wasn't something worth showing off, he just wasn't in the condition or position to be showing off how sexy he was, plus there wasn't anyone worth showing off to.

Looking up at the girl he said in a pain filled voice that was still rather calm, "Settle down I don't plan on dying." He then finished tightening the tourniquet and started putting pressure directly on the bleeding area on his leg. He then looked up at her and said, "If you think you're strong enough to help me… once I get this bleeding under control I'm need someone's help to get out of this field. I don't like being so exposed out here and sitting out here is just asking to get captured. I hate that I need to ask for help to do something as simple as walking but my leg is pretty jacked up. Crawling would drag my wounds through the dirt and I can't imagine that would help. I can still handle most of my weigh just need someone to insure I don't make this wound any worse." Asking for help like this was ok… right? I mean it wasn't like he was incapable of moving he just didn't want to worsen his condition. Cyrus pushed his doubts out and reassured his ego this was the smart thing to do, since he was already so badly beaten up and anything else would likely put him even closer to death.

Having been hit against the wall was an odd experience. Not only did it hurt her, but maybe the others have seen. Shaking her head out of pain, the next pokemon to leave the building behind her was a Mawile. Wanting to interact to somebody, since boredom had struck her, she walked around the city. 'These pokemon sure were lively,' she thought. Whistling, she quickly spotted the Absol she had seen not too long ago. A smirk appears on her face, an idea popping out of her head. Who wants to be bored? Not her, surely.

Walking nonchalantly beside the Absol, she stopped outside the Pokemart. It wasn't because she didn't want to enter, but because it would be too obvious. Instead, she was going to try to trip the beast by "accident" while it was walking. Snickering at her own ridiculous plans, it wasn't long until the Absol had left the Pokemart. A bit stunned to see that she didn't notice her leave, she tried to follow the presence of her instead. As if on cue, she heard the voice of an female she had heard before.

"Watch were your going twerp!" a growling voice spoke. Wanting to see how this would go, and to be involved, she pretended to walk past them and right on the right moment, turned and smiled at the both.

"Hey! I know you two don't remember me, but I just happen to be wondering if....you're all up to a chat?" she cheerfully asked. Knowing from how the Absol was, a growl could surely follow...but she was curious to see the Mawile's response.

  • Marisole had been wandering around on her own, her mind not focused much on what she knew it should be: catching a human. Every time she would convince herself to focus and to go in search of one, something else caught her mind, and she ended up losing that train of thought. It was a very tedious habit of her's: becoming distracted in the most serious situations. It was a flaw that, most of the time, she regretted having.

In her world of daze, she managed to walk into many things and trip over just about everything that was laying around. So when she bumped into another Pokemon, it didn't much surprise her. She was preparing to let out a string of apologies before the other party spoke out in an angered tone.

Marisole bit the insides of her cheeks, giving the Pokemon her best glare. They had run into each other, and though she was willing to accept the blame, it was quite possible for the other to be at fault as well.

"Maybe you should watch where you're going as well." she said, biting back any harsher words that came to mind. "I apologize for the
    inconvenience. "

Right after she spoke, she heard the voice of another and quickly shifted her eyes to them. They definitely gave off a more cheerful aura than the Absol that was in front of her.

"Chat?" Marisole asked, nodding slightly to herself. "That's a wonderful thought, but might it be a good idea to be looking for a human?" she still wasn't too interested in the idea of capturing a human at the moment, but she didn't really want to jump at the chance to put off doing so. That would make her look a little too foolish. "Not that I think we have to be in a rush."

  • A massive red form could be seen walking out of a large building, his slightly long neck arcing down to fit through the doorway. The Charizard, known as Blake, looked up at the sky, wondering what to do now. It wasn't that long ago when he was with David, getting called a weakling and a waste of space. The massive Pokemon sighed, the noise sounding like a growl, and continued his walking toward town's shop, knowing he was in need of water and food. His eyes slightly widened as a flashback shook his mind.

    Flash Back

A Charizard cried out in pain and rage, it's massive red body shifting between planes of fear and shock. Why did he get this treatment? Why did this have to happen to him?

''Stop crying, you weakling!'' A boy, no older than 17, yelled out in what seemed to be rage. He has greasy blonde hair, and what seemed to be a over-expensive looking suit, which the cheap fabric look fake. He was whipping the fire-type Pokemon harshly with what seems to be a long green vine, giving the poor Pokemon lacerations on his wings and back.

Stopping for his chubby figure to catch it's breath, David sat beneath a tree while the Charizard bent down in the middle of the grassy plain, its hulking figure panting from the pain and exhaustion. David took out a couple more PokeBalls, sending out two more Pokemon, a Tyranitar and Blastoise. They bother automatically bowed to their trainer, grinning at the Pain-Stricken Charizard.

''Lets have a little spar, shall we?'' David asked, grinning at Blake. The other two smiled also, facing the Charizard fully, opening their mouths wide. They both punished him with their own attacks, using muddy water and hydro pump respectively. The poor fire-typewas pummeled endlessly with the water attacks, now roaring out with pain and fury. How could this monster do this to him? What was his deal?

    FlashBack Ended

Shaking his head, Blake let the flashback fade away into the recesses of his mind, now near the shop. He was about to enter, cursing his big stature, when he saw an absol charge out, bumping into another Pokemon

''Hey watch where your going!'' she growled angrily to the Mawile, making the Charizard frown. Honestly, why antagonize other Pokemon....for no reason.

"Maybe you should watch where you're going as well." she said, looking like she was biting back any harsher words that came to mind. "I apologize for the
    inconvenience. "

Blake almost smiled himself, looking at the Mawile. To have such restraint...he probably would have blasted the arrogant Pokemon to kingdom come.

"Hey! I know you two don't remember me, but I just happen to be wondering if....you're all up to a chat?" another Pokemon asked cheerfully, walking up to the two. Shaking his head, the giant Charizard walked up to the three, looking down at them angrily.

''Can you move out of the way?'' he asked the Absol gruffly, preparing tomove her forcefully.

Azula glared at the Mawile as she replied. "Maybe you should watch where you're going as well." her tone was harsh and it just made Azula glare more at the other Pokemon. "I apologize for the inconvenience. "

Azula was about to reply when a Gardevoir came up and interrupted them. "Hey! I know you two don't remember me, but I just happen to be wondering if....you're all up to a chat?" her tone was so cheery that it made Azula want gag. As well has hating others Azula also hated cheerfulness it bugged her to no end.

Yet again though Azula was destined to be interrupted as a Charizard ''Can you move out of the way?'' he said gruffly and Azula glared up at the larger Pokemon but did move out of the way.

"next time, go around" she said coldly before looking back at the Gardevoir. I do not want to stay and chat she thought wanting to catch her human so she could get away from these pathetic Pokemon. Looking from the Gardevoir to the Mawile she continued. "as much as I would Love to chat for awhile, I have something more important to do" she smirked her tone full of sarcasm as she turned away and walked away a few feet before stopping and looking over her shoulder. "I'm gonna catch my human before the good ones are all caught"

"Maybe you should watch where you're going as well," the Absol growled back at the Mawile. "I apologize for the inconvenience. "

Just like she expected, their responses weren't very pleasing to hear. Then again, that's what you expect by suddenly coming out of the blue in a confrontation. "Chat?" the Mawile asked. "That's a wonderful thought, but might it be a good idea to be looking for a human?" Aurora stopped to ponder. She was right....although she wasn't into the idea. "Not that I think we have to be in a rush."

"Oh no it's fiiine, just wanted to get to know everybody," she responded back in her sweet voice, glancing around and immediately catching sight of a Charizard coming their way. There was more ideas in her head, but this guy looked...serious. She didn't want to risk doing a foolish prank.

''Can you move out of the way?'' he asked the Absol gruffly, Aurora a bit amused. He seemed in a bad mood, but she didn't want to...hit the wrong buttons.

"Next time, go around" she said coldly before looking back at Aurora. "As much as I would Love to chat for awhile, I have something more important to do" she smirked, her tone full of sarcasm as she turned and ran off. Aurora wasn't pleased, but simply took it as the Absol's way of "running away."

"A simple no would have sufficed," she mumbled at herself, glancing around with a smile on her face. It turned into an awkward smirk when she realized the Mawile and Charizard were still here. They probably thought she was an idiot for even wanting a chat in the first place. 'Well, at least I tried,' she thought to herself. "Hehe....sorry for asking such chat," she apologized, "I should have thought before acting." With that said, she turned around, ready to leave. The absol had left to catch her share...now it's her turn. Aurora started to....walk away towards Route 203.

''Next time, go around.'', the absol said coldly, turning to another Pokemon. "As much as I would Love to chat for awhile, I have something more important to do" she smirked, her tone full of sarcasm as she turned and ran off.

Blake didn't flinch. Instead, he stared at her moving form and shook his horned head, looking at the other two Pokemon. He smirked and nodded at them before walking through the doors of the Pokemart, his wings squeezing through uncomfortably.

Honestly, he didn't appreciate the Absol's...cold attitude. He could be a bt gruff at times, but no need to go outright scary. He didn't think much on it and walked up to the cashier, a few apples and water in hand.

''Here...'' the Charizard growled, giving the Psyduck the correct amount of currency. Shaking his head at the yellow duck Pokemon, Blake walked out to the entrance of the shop, the items in a bag, slung over his massive back. He looked around for a second, wondering where to go now.

''Hmmm...whatever.'' he muttered, and continued out the doors.
