Spoiler:

At your current age, how young is too young for you? So to speak, what age is the lowest you'd go when it comes to dating?

16 is way too young. 17 is kiiiind of pushing it, but I think that goes with the whole "Oh you're over 18, so you're considered an adult shouldn't you be with someone who's also 18 or over?!?" thing most people have. I know some people (mainly parents) have a problem with people in a relationship with someone 3 years in age difference, but I don't because my parents were that and they were alright. 18, no problem!

But I don't really date. Not with how most people do it. When I think of dating, I think of meeting someone new and going out one night to do something and getting to know each other. Every relationship I had so far developed from friendships, so I already knew them, they already knew me, and we were familiar with each other's families.

Anything below my age. lol I don't like dating younger people. But I don't wanna aim too high. The person I'm with right now will be 22 next week and I'm 19, but I'll be 20 in August, so we maintain a 2 year difference for most of the time. That's fine with me. But I'm kinda odd in that I consider whatever age I was previously as "young and foolish" because I tend to look back at how dumb I was lol. So even 18 is too young, and I already feel like I'm 20 so even 19 is starting to look young. My logic is odd.

Anything more than a year younger than me is a bit much; I prefer guys to be a little older than me, but no older 23/24. My boyfriend's younger than me by six months.

I'm 21, and I have a thing for younger guys because even though I'm 21, I still feel like I'm in high school. So the youngest I'd go is 17 lol.

I don't date younger than me as a general rule of thumb. Once I had a crush on a guy who was only a year or so younger than me and I felt like it was ages of difference. Maybe it'll change when I get older, but anything more than 6 months or so is too young for me right now.

I do the age rule.. half your age plus seven. I find it works quite well:
So.. 22/2=11+7= 18.
Youngest I should date is 18.

:/ Though I'd go for someone in their 20s really.. 18 does feel a bit too young for me.

I guess I could go as low as 18... but just imagining that makes me feel kinda weird and icky in a stupid way. If the woman was an emotionally mature 18-year-old, then maybe it could work but now that I'm typing all of this out, it just feels slightly wrong, to be honest. Let's revise that estimate up to 20. Yeah, that sounds more reasonable and less icky.

I would probably go to 20. I've had younger girlfriends and I'm just to partial to that maturity of an older woman. Not too old; in fact I've never dated anyone older. I feel at my age it's a bit odd dating young and becomes more "ok" when you're in your later years.
