I am in the latter group. I'm not Requility where I feel the need to maintain my "post per day" average.

I feel obligated to post at least once in OVP per day. But that's because I mod here. I'd be a crap mod if I didn't post around my own section!

I should also feel obligated to make topics but tbh I suck at thinking of ideas, so it doesn't happen as often as it should. One day they are gonna fire me for it. </3

The amount of times I post a day doesn't matter much to me. That said, I feel obligated to post in clubs I'm part of and OT at least once a day. There are certain sections of the forum I never post in, mainly cause they're not part of my interest. Though I also usually post in whatever threads appears on the front page. I think I should explore more.

I love to hit as many posts in a day, even if it's outside of Other Trivia.

I post so much I can't recall my average postcount per day.

As long as I have destroyed C&M with the minimum requirement of two posts per day in that section, all is well in the land of Harlequin.

I feel obliged to post in every OVP thread that comes up - unless I truly have no idea whatsoever how to answer it, and even then I usually spend hours with it open in a tab trying before I call time of death. I also feel obligated to post in my clubs to keep them active.

Other than that, I don't really feel obligated to post anywhere; I just post as I wish. I'm not even sure 'obligated' is the right word - it implies it's like a chore. I'm happy to do it!

you made me think I posted here :(

I was trying to keep my PPD up - 12.09 but it dropped one number and lately I haven't really felt like being on PC much, so although I always make 25 posts over a 2 day period, I'm just not really inspired to aim higher.

As for general averages, I try to post in TCTI at least 3 times a week, CBC once a week, B/W in every weekly poll and B2W2 2-3 posts a day. Everywhere else I just don't really plan to post. But those sections aren't the most active ones anyway so ya lol.

Haha, no. The higher my post count gets, the more I legitimately feel like I want to stop coming here, because I hate having such high a post count.
It's alright man, just donate a chunk of your posts to me.

If only.

Not at all! I really only post when I have something to say; having a higher post count hasn't always been that important to me, or I'd have a lot more posts by now. XD; I usually feel like I should post in the AG at least once a week though (more depending on activity?), but that's more because I want to keep posting there than feeling "obligated" to do so... if that makes sense.

A while back, I got into this little mental rut of wanting to post exactly 100 times per week. I thought that was a nice, steady number, and it worked out at roughly 15 posts per day - a large amount, but not unwieldy. Don't ask me how this got started, as I have no idea. Since then, however, the ideal has been dialled back considerably - while I do like to stay active, on the whole, I don't feel obliged to post 100 times per week if I don't want to. What has emerged from that, however, is that I now like to post in multiples of 5. Some days I'll make 5 new posts, other days will have 10 new ones, 15, and - on the rare occasion when I've got a lot to say - 20! Take my current post count (8,827): I'll probably post 3 more times tonight, and then call it a night for PC. It's not quite OCD, I don't think... there have been times where I've left the number as something very obscure (like 8,324) and I haven't killed myself. But I feel a lot more comfortable with a postcount ending in 5 or 0 when I go to bed.

On a more specific level, I like to post about once a day in C&M, just to make sure members think I have a presence there. But it usually results in more than one post a day with moving/locking/answering questions etc. So that I don't get accused of raping OVP, I try to limit myself to only posting there 5 times in one day. Most other boards that I go to, I try to make regular contributions, but not so that I don't drown the conversation. Unlike C&M, however, there's no real obligation on my part; I just like to post in a lot of places. If there's nothing for me to say in, say, PGC for that day, then I won't post anything. But if there is, I shall.

Pretty much the same yayaya.

Although I know in the past I liked to post as much as possible all over the forum. I guess I felt more accomplished or whatever. PLUS I wanted my first 1000 posts really badly so I posted as much as possible to bring it up quickly. lol whyyyyy

Used to back in the earlier years before I had a post count of 1000. But even that well, most of the posts were just me in the Pokemon Groups forum. I was just so active there I didn't see my post count go up. Now days I don't really feel obliged to post a certain number. If I see a thread I like, I'll post. However there are some days where I get on PC after not being here for so long and giving out a mass posting spree - a day like today when I procrastinate so bad :pp

I tend to just post whenever I feel like it. I thought a while back that I should try to post at least 5 times a day to see if I could possibly catch up with a friend who suddenly rocketed to about 2000 posts, but about two days into it the whole posting thing felt like a chore and it wasn't fun anymore. So now I just post whenever I want and when I want. Sometimes that's 10 times a day, sometimes it's once a week. I still visit and stalk, just not bother to post.

Nope not at all. Of course I do want to post a least a little around because I'm a moderator but I have no set amount of posts I should make per day. 'Sides, I post mainly in the trivia sections and even if I didn't I don't have post count showing in the userbit. So it would be a bit tedious counting how many posts I make a day/week/so forth.
