Story:
Spoiler:
Every few years in the Hibernia region, several beginning trainers travel to Lachlan Town to receive their first Pokemon from Professor Kampar, a leading researcher in the Hibernia region. Professor Kampar has dedicated her life to beginning bright new trainers in their quest to grow, learn, and thrive with their Pokemon.
So, she has finally raised a few Pokemon to be sent off with new trainers. You, the player, are one of the beginning trainers to have received a letter to begin your journey. You are expected to arrive at Professor Kampar’s lab on Saturday at 8:00 am. This Saturday will begin your calendar beginning with Day 1, etc.
You will receive your starter, based on what you decide to choose. But your route is of your making – you can do what you want to do with it; challenge and collect the eight gym badges to enter the Hibernia League, enter the Hibernia Coordinating matches, or – brand new to this region – Battle Light matches, which is similar to the Hibernia League but you battle many different varieties of strong trainers. You could also always just choose the route to not do any of the following and help fill the Pokedex. But that is all up to you.
But to many of the trainers and police forces of the Hibernia region, an underground faculty has been growing – a faculty that’s devoted to documenting and capturing powerful Pokemon in hopes to take over the region. A lot of their methods to do this are unknown, but when you begin your journey and get tied in with this group, it is up to you to help figure out what they are up to. Good luck!
Now, how will this work?: As you can see above, the three starters are FAKEMON. The Hibernia region is full of Fakemon, created by Royal. There’s over 150 Fakemon, but we won’t use only the Fakemon. This is since the Fakemon in this Dex are pre-evolutions or following evolutions to Pokemon of other regions. How will this work then? Well, the Fakemon will be recorded as if they come straight after the Unova Pokemon, so starting with #650, and so on and so forth. We’ll be using Fakemon more than the regular Pokemon. If we get to the Elite Four or far enough into the RP, I may introduce the Pokemon from the other regions.
What is a Battle Light match? A Battle Light match is similar to the Hibernia League, or like any challenge to get the badges. But this is different because you face many trainers from different regions, and a majority of them are strong, which results in great experience for your Pokemon as well as filling up your Pokedex. You don’t receive gym badges, but your trainer ID is recorded with the results of your matches and you may get special privileges in different towns and areas based on how you place. If you win in the Battle Light match, you can also receive a Pokemon you may not be able to catch as well as a lot of cash you can spend at your hand. Depending on how many matches you win, you may be entered into the Final Light matches located at the Lazuli Conference.
Entering the Hibernia League; This region is a bit different than other regions – Hibernia actually has 15 different gyms that you can challenge, all of them varying in strength and type sets. You actually only need eight badges to enter the Hibernia League, but you are more than welcome to battle and collect more badges. It will not get you special privileges in the League if you have all fifteen badges, but it will give your Pokemon a lot more experience and strength, and also get you recognition in many towns and cities, resulting in ‘special privileges’ there.
The Hibernia Coordinating matches; just like Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, Hibernia is home to countless stadiums for coordinating matches, combining both beauty and strength in a stunning appeal. Stadiums are usually found in every big city, and then Grand Festival is held in a stadium next to the stadiums featuring the Hibernia League matches. You need five out of ten ribbons minimum to be able to qualify for the Grand Festival.
Can I enter all three? Of course you can, but don’t overwork yourself with writing.
The Map, Towns, and Cities of the Hibernia Region:
Spoiler:
Here’s a good representation of the Hibernia region:
Faded yellow circles mean: location of a gym Faded pink circles mean: location of a battle light contest arena Faded blue circles mean: location of a coordinating contest arena
The Hibernia region is very large, and jam-packed with amazing Pokemon, trainers, and opportunities to have an amazing life as a Pokemon trainer or whatever you chose to do.
As the roleplay commences you’ll get a high-def zoom in of the area you begin in, and each area you land in, I will give you details about that area with trainers you can find, if there’s a gym or any contests (either coordinating or battle light matches), and the Pokemon located there. Available Pokemon in that area will also be explained. Details about each Pokemon are in the index given to you at the top of the page.
I’ll give you the list of the main areas, with some information left out, that you’ll most likely travel to in your journey (they are not in order of which town you’ll be coming to after you begin your journey).
Lachlan Town – Where you begin your journey and receive your first starter. Sunrise Town – First town you go to after receiving your starter. Tyne City – Location of the Psychic Gym. Leeds Town – Location of the Ground Gym. Ardlaw Town – Location of the Weakness Gym. Altus City – Location of the Grass Gym. Haddonfield Town – Location of the Ghost Gym. Ness Town – Location of the Ice Gym. Crooked Oak City – Location of the Electric Gym. Travel Seas – Location of the Water Gym. Undertone Town – Location of the Rock Gym. Celeste Town – Location of the Flying Gym. Veteran City – Location of the Fighting Gym. Crisscut Town – Location of the Dark Gym. Longwood Town – Location of the Steel Gym. Heartland Town – Location of the Dragon Gym. Lazuli City – Location of the Fire Gym. Lazuli Conference – Entrance to the Hibernia League/Hibernia Coordinating League/Hibernia Final Light.
How this roleplay will work/Rules:
This roleplay will work similar to how the anime is set up – and that means there are no levels involved. So I will use my senses and how you play out your posts to figure whether not your Pokemon can learn new moves, or evolve.
You can actually have over six Pokemon in your team (you can have as many as you choose), but in official matches, you can only use up to six Pokemon. A lot of the rules with using Pokemon is decided through the match coordinator, so do read the rules with what is given in each informative post.
I will sort-of be your guide throughout the region, giving you images and directions to take for the next town or places to see, but ultimately your choices are up to you to make. I am not going to be controlling your character. But things I will be doing – I make the graphs with what Pokemon you can find in different areas, what trainers you can face in official matches, gym matches, etc.
Plus, with receiving Pokemon, this is decided by me. You can’t just receive a ‘rare’ Pokemon from someone. No, that’s not how it will work. If you want to receive a Pokemon in that way, you’ll have to contact me separately in a Private Message and we’ll discuss that possibility.
You can also not bunny or god-mod (control a character) another player’s character without their expressed consent. That’s just… a bit rude to do without permission. Now, what you can do with other players is battle! How does this work, you ask? Well, easy, only one person will need to post the battle (unless you decide to split it up into two parts where one player posts one part and the other player posts the second). How this will work is the two players will take the battle to Private Message and discuss how it will work out there, and write it together there. If you cannot decide a winner, I will. If it’s for an official match, I will decide the winner.
But most of all, I want you guys to have fun! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!

Alright great! When you're ready for the next part, just say in like a little OOC note that you're ready for the next part, or say she is approaching the next town. c:
My Main Team:
Dorian | Hale | Rudayn | Gumdrop | River | Raynhik
So right now I have to decide between catching the Jickard and getting exp for Vis, correct?
Yes, that's correct, however with the previous post Vislup did get experience. Your next post is basically you as the trainer making the decision to capture Jickard and take it with you, or leave it.

I hope I don't get booted from this rp, we had a really bad storm and I'm at the local hospital to charge stuff, not sure when I'll get power back, they said by July 8th
Sorry I wasn't active last week. I went to a video game camp, and my mom didn't let me bring my computer.
Eggy click, pwease!
The girl you just called fat? She is overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars? He fought for our country. That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying. Copy and paste this into your sig if you think bullying is wrong. You never know what it's like until you walk a mile in their shoes. -Taken from chef30
