Well, here's my problem. My Internet download speeds are usually around 90KB/s (don't ask). But starting yesterday, they have dropped extremely - yesterday I was getting around 20KB/s, and today I'm getting around 9000B/s. Yes, B as in bytes. Any ideas anyone? I haven't changed anything that would seem to cause this, we've had a heat wave if that says anything? Lol. Anyway thanks in advance :D

Do you have a data cap? ISPs may throttle your speeds if you download too much data per month.
OH. I've been downloading lots of Linux distros lately, some via Torrent (which prolly wasn't helping) so that must be it. My data cap is like 40gb though, so it'd be weird.. Well thanks :D

The fact that you're downloading torrents pretty much explains it. Some ISPs will limit your speeds if they catch you downloading from a bunch of peers. Keep it up and you'll get a rather nasty letter telling you to "quit it or we'll kill your webs". If the problem persists, give them a call and ask them about it. It's not like it can hurt.
