Ummm I watch a lot of anime, like science and Maths (kinda maths). Play lots of video games and such.. I dunno I'm a pretty big nerd yet at the same time I do things that kinda cancel out my nerdiness haha. I have no shame in being a nerd though and admit to it. XD

A few things I consider to make me a nerd:

-hardcore Pokemon playing
-collecting and playing Yu-Gi-Oh! (and usually spelling it out)
-going to GameStop to find old video games for my Gamecube and PS2
-playing said games for several hours a day until I beat them
-collecting Pokemon toys
-wanting photoshop so hardcore
-if not fashion, would go for video gaming SOMETHING

But the nerdiest thing i've ever done was get a deep, huge satisfaction when I was going though a booster pack of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards I had gotten after a LONG, hard day, and I found my favorite monster card (Rainbow Dragon, WHO'D A THUNK?). I was like, almost crying. After buying so many packs of the set it originally came in, I got it from a special binder set. I was stoked. Like, didn't even cheer, just felt so warm and fuzzy inside.

I had memorized the classic Star Wars movies before I was 10. I've watched 2 decades worth of classic Doctor Who. Seen every episode of Star Trek. I went to the midnight releases of the last 3 Harry Potter books. My shelves are full of sci-fi and fantasy books, those that aren't stuffed with manga, that is. In college some friends from my Japanese class and I all gave each other silly Japanese names that we still call each other whenever we talk. But maybe going to Japan and buying several maid and lolita costumes is nerdier than all of that.

I have a $459 set of Harry Potter Blu-Ray/DVDs on order, despite already owning two copies of each movie.

I got up at 6am and queued from 7am for the 9am releases of each new Harry Potter book at a bookstore, when Mum walked into the department store next to it and picked up a copy for my uncle from the huge pile, rendering the queuing totally unnecessary.

I've been to midnight movie premieres for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and Part II, as well as The Avengers and in two weeks The Dark Knight Rises.

I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II a total of five times in cinemas, only to be outdone recently by The Avengers, which I saw six times.

I catalogued every Pokemon card I own on my computer so that I know exactly which ones from which sets I have. This took about four days to accomplish.

I went to the crappy Australian version of Comic-Con last year, just so I could listen to Amy Acker speak for about an hour. Don't know who Amy Acker is? That's because you're not nerdy enough.

I looked at the trailers for the Dragonball movie a few years back and saw how terrible it looked, then went to see it anyway out of franchise loyalty.

I'm short-sighted and have worn glasses since the age of seven. I also have an inhaler that I took to school with me every single day until I outgrew my asthma.

I consider JK Rowling and Joss Whedon my Gods, and freely admit this in public.

The nerdest thing I've done is mentioned scientific facts while watching a movie that were shown in said movie...

What really counts as nerdy? I don't really know. I don't have an instance of immense nerdiness either. I just have a life that is saturated in it.

The most obvious thing is probably Doctor Who... I own a substantial amount of Doctor Who both New and Classic, can name all the Doctors and most of the companions by actor, know all the NuWho episodes by name and where they fall in the series, I've watched all NuWho episodes at least three times each and/because of having got like eight of my offline friends into it. I've gotten quite a few others into DW as well. I have a tendency to go off on tangents about actors and factoids while watching with other people or when people mention something related to Who. I run a compilation tumblr for tweets from the cast and crew of DW, past and present.

Other things what you probably don't care about...
Spoiler:
I've seen every single episode of Top Gear- even the specials. I've watched quite a lot of the TG3's other shows and read their books and have pre-ordered Clarkson's book The Top Gear Years what is coming out in September. I run a compilation tumblr for the TG3's tweets and Top Gear Dog. I end up reading Top Gear Magazine every time I'm in a bookstore for more than ten minutes.

I own and have read every single main Discworld book and most of the side ones like cookbook/maps/etc multiple times, I know where everything falls chronologically in publication and in-universe.

I've grown up with Harry Potter and read books 1-5 so many times that I am able to quote them exactly when I am reminded of a line. I occasionally create [admittedly crap] fanworks. I read fic and look through fanart relating to my fandoms regularly. I can quote and sing all the songs in The Road to El Dorado and The Pirate Movie. Of course I can sing pretty much any song from a Disney animation with a fair amount of accuracy. I've been on PC on-and-off since I was 10 and still am actively interested in Pokémon. I watch daytime quiz shows that are not even broadcast in my country because I like the hosts. I've watched 8 Out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie To You, and QI from the beginning and keep up on them. I occasionally watch a variety of other panel shows which are not broadcast in my country. I read Shakespeare for fun. I find cultural history really interesting and will go investigate it given the opportunity. I'd much rather go to a museum than a theme park or whatever. I do prime factorizations of random numbers and calculate things in my head when I get bored. I have a window open in Chrome where I'm reading about how internal combustion engines work. etc etc

So basically I'm really nerdy about lots of things. And everybody knows it. It's fab and has pretty much become expected of me. So I can't really pinpoint an event where I was at my nerdiest.

How nerdy am I? Put simply: VERY.

Likely nerdiest moments include making maps and keeping statistics for my Sim City 4 cities. And roleplaying as a NATION representing my Sim City 4 cities back from 2007 to 2009 on some other forums.

Also, I think my main media bookshelf contains $1400 worth of merchandise, mostly bought IN THE LAST 3 YEARS. Spoiler relevant, it contains a picture of said shelf.

Spoiler:
whoops

Well I mean I readily admit to anyone offline that I spend a ton of my time moderating/posting on a Pokemon forum, lol.

I guess other than that, I've spent a week+ of 18-hour days playing an MMO every second I was awake. That's the nerdiest thing I can think of offhand.

On a scale of 1 to Pierce? I'm about a 7 ;3 I openly admit to liking Pokemon and similar stuff, but my friends don't see it as nerdy or anything. That kind of mentality has never really happened where I live (at least not to me), but I've never really been the type that gets picked on so who knows what happens to other people lol. But yeah I love Pokemon, I spend most of my time on forums, I'm learning coding languages, I spend hours messing around on Fireworks and GIMP, I spend hours watching anime and barely sleep because of it, I'm half-way through building a massive portrait of Haruhi Suzumiya in Minecraft and previously worked on building the Johto region of Pokemon with a group of friends (which looked awesome till he LOST it. ;;), and the list continues lol. So yeah I'm pretty nerdy but no one seems to care, everyone's cool with it irl and online, so I'm happy with how I am c:

I moderate a Pokemon forum. Even more specifically, I moderate 5 sections related to Pokemon on this forum. I've modded/admined other forums as well. I import Pokemon games despite not being able to read any Japanese text or speak a lick of it. I bought an original DS only because of Diamond and Pearl. I can recognize almost every Pokemon by their in-game cries. This is just Pokemon stuff though lol. There's tons more.

Also when presenting a video game themed Power Point, I had a sprite of Link from A Link to the Past. When it showed up on screen, someone said "Ooh, 8 bit!" to which I responded, "Actually, it's 16 bit. A Link to the Past was on Super Nintendo." But if you're overlooking the fact I correct people like that, come on. Video game themed Power Point on special education, as well as my poster board for it. You wanna see it? Too bad, cause it's not with me.

Ummm and I used to draw the Triforce on my hand everyday in 8th and 9th grade.

Uh... tbh, not terribly. I'd have to actually buy and watch/play things actively to really consider myself nerdy. I don't do any of that right now. I am such a recluse! D: But what I like I can get a bit obsessive over. Quietly, but still obsessive.

I've been here over 8 years and still play the main Pokemon games, although not nearly as often as I used to. Does that count...?

I'll make a proper signature when Pokecommunity gets a proper slogan

I guess the fact that I've spent every day in the summer break so far on my computer either lurking a pokemon forum, watching anime or drawing concept branding for people I don't know I'd say I was pretty nerdy.
The nerdiest thing I'd say I've ever done was probably the noise that I made when I saw these in one of those clothing shops where they get their stock from companies that've produced too much. As you can tell I immediately spent what little money I had left on buying them. And quite a bit more. Woops.

I play video games. Alot.
I know more crap from the 80's and 90's than I probably should. I swear to god I'm a 90's kid that looks like a 14 year old. Not one of those false ones who claim they are just because they remember the old CN...
When I watch and play something, I have to analyze and criticize it, instead of just sitting down, shutting up, and enjoying the game.
I own a Sega Genesis, NES, Super Nintendo and N64.
Organized all my games, from system to alphabetical order.
I spend almost no time offline. God I'm pathetic...
I still like Legos. But thats probably just my inner manchild.
And I'm on a Pokemon forum. That pretty much sums it up.
