About to turn on Tearaway!
Hehe I was in the studio while they were developing that game, it's awesome. Media Molecule are a great company, one of Sony's best.

I'm playing State of Decay right now. It's a good entry level game for the company, but I'm not sure how much I like it. It's certainly overrated by most reviewers. The idea behind it is great, if not ambitious. A small company trying to make a big game always comes off a bit lacklustre in some respects. However there's a lot of good points, the game just looks so promising from the beginning. There just happens to be a lack of cut-scenes and storyline to push it through so far for me. That and a bunch of minor annoyances (and those glitches ugh). Certainly worth the sale price, but not something I'd recommend to rush out and buy. I look forward to seeing what the company bring out next though, they have a good thing going and a good business model.

LoZ: Oracle of Seasons - Onto my next pair of games in the Zelda series; looks and play pretty much like Link's Awakening. (Which is quite surprising considering the 8 year gap) Since buying A Link Between Worlds, which I've yet to play, I've felt like going back and playing a lot of older titles which I've never tried.

Professor Layton and the Unwound Future - Now this one seems interesting, as time travel is always a fun premise for a story. Meeting one of the future characters was pretty cool. I've only played a bit, but definitely a better start than the previous game.

Got my copy of Harvest Moon 64 in the mail so I'll probably start up that one soon.

As someone who has studied game development, as well as being an avid gamer, people always find it odd when I state that I've never played Half-Life 2. There's not many critically acclaimed Valve games that I haven't played, and even this year I've played every large release, but it's time I embark on this journey, I think. However I'm not going in vanilla, why? Well it's a 9 year old game, and while I don't just focus on graphics, I wanted to try Half-Life as if it were a brand new game and experience. So I've just downloaded this mod. So perhaps people will forgive me after seeing that video, a beautiful rendition and improvement on the original engine, I just couldn't say no.

Wish me luck on finally playing the highest rated game of all time.

I've been playing Final Fantasy in Japanese for the first time. I figured I'd give it a go since I don't have my NES copy with me currently. About to go light the first crystal.

Ys: Memories of Celceta: Working on my third and final run for this awesome game on Nightmare mode. Amazing soundtrack. Amazing gameplay. Funny dialogue choices. OH MY GOD I MIGHT DO A FOURTH.

Pokemon Y: Just breeding a doubles team. Nothing interesting happening here.

Resonance of Fate: I found this game for like $10, so I just bought it on a whim. So far, pretty good. The battle system you definitely need to sit down and learn it, but otherwise great game. I should have bought this for a full $60 when it came out.

Just finished Mario and Luigi: Bowser's inside story, now I'm playing New Super Luigi U, its currently driving me insane! I finally made it to world 8 with all the star coins though.
I can't wait to get it out of the way so I can play the 4th instalment of the Mario and Luigi series (Dream Team Bros.).

REDUX

Final Fantasy 7 for the PlayStation 3

My file just recently got erased so I restarted.

Out of Game Thoughts

When I was 8, I watched my older brother play this game all the time. I was always pestering him: "Shiloh, lemme play, lemme play!" At the age of 11, I finally got my shot. At that age, the concepts and complications of the games were beyond me and I didn't understand the story until much, much later. Now, 11 years later, I'm playing the game. Really trying to absorb the story to it's fullest and appreciate the characters and their motives.

I've always enjoyed this game, much more than for the common fan basis that follows it around today. Let's do the math shall we? I was 8 when I first got sucked into this game and I was 11 when I began playing. 2012 - 11 = 2001, I was definitely playing this before the emo fans girls and boy got into this.

That aside, this game is my favorite PlayStation game and it will always be.

Last Actions

Trained each character 2 levels. I like to be over prepared so no monster or boss will give me trouble. My last playthrough, I breezed through the entire game because I trained 2 levels for every character every time I got through a section. It was long, it was arduous, but it was worth it in the end.

Last Location

Finished training the cast and saved outside of the Chocobo Farm. The people in the house were getting loud and I knew I wouldn't be able to enjoy the story.

So there you go. Full insight, to what I've been doing in FF7 and how.

I wasn't getting anywhere playing Final Fantasy VI because my mind wasn't in it. So the other night, I rolled my dice and Super Mario RPG was the next game I was going to attempt to play. It's way more light-hearted than FFVI, and I'm enjoying my playthrough. Didn't get far tonight, since I only played for an hour, but it was a lot of fun.

I completely forgot how magical Super Mario RPG can be.

Final Fantasy 7 Update

So as I said in my last update, I have finished my two-level-per-character training method and was hanging outside of the Chocobo Farm. So I put my party together. Myself, Gauge and Yauna and bought my Chobobo Lure for 2000 Gil and bought 1500 Gil worth of Gysha Greens. I equipped the Materia and went Chocobo Hunting.

On my second random encounter I found my specimen. I threw two Gysha Greens and got 'em. I rode him across the Midgar Marshes and happened upon a Midgar Zolem impaled on a tree. (Thanks Sephiroth) and headed into the cave. I found numerous items and a Long-Range Materia. When I exited I caught up with the Turks again. Elena, the newest member, the genius she is, shared with us that Sephy was heading to Junon. The Turks dispersed and Rude shared with us that Reno, who I beat back in Midgar, wanted to see us again when he healed up.

After that, we exited the cave and I headed into the forests immediately outside, I trained 2 levels for everyone again. Cloud learned Climhazzard his second level 2 Limit Break, Red learned Lunatic High his second level 1 Limit Break and Gauge learned Grenade Bomb his first level 2 limit break. I also found and battled Yuffie (Named Koakuma), trained her two-levels and we headed to Mt. Condor.

With a new party attached. (Myself, Red and Koakuma) we spoke with the men and women of the mountain and they told us that the Shinra was trying to shoo away the giant condor mounted atop the reactor. We decided to protect it and hired soldiers to detour the pressing assault of the Shinra.

PS - By the end of the two-level-training method. I had amassed over 30,000 Gil, so purchasing soldiers and defending the mountain was an easy task. After protecting the condor and her egg, we headed towards Junon.

When we made it there, we had to start at a small fishing town, covered by the new military additions by the Shinra. Forcibly containing pollution, poisoning the water and air.

I gathered a new party. Gauge and Red and we headed to the beach, a young girl named Pricilla, training a dolphin, of all things was suddenly attacked by a giant monster and the team and I battled and killed him.

Unconscious, I assume, her grandfather showed up and asked that I give her CPR. So I did. Took four times but I got her on her feet again. We went back to town and rested.

Tim had a dream, with a voice asking where Stephanie was during the events that took place in Nibelhiem 5 years ago. Tim asked when he woke up, but got no answer. A parade was sounding outside. Pricilla met me outside, and thankful for me saving her, gave me the Shiva Materia. I had to get the topside of Junon to confront Rufus and perhaps find Sephiroth, so the team voted me to climb the high voltage tower. Pricilla offered Mr. Dolphin to me, saying if I got in the safe parts of the water and blow the whistle he would lift me to the save parts of the tower and I could climb up from there.

I was given a whistle and was aided by Mr. Dolphin on top of the girders and climbed to the air strip on top of Junon. I snuck into Junon and was unwillingly recruited by the local MP for the parade, not wanting to raise suspicion I put on the MP outfit and headed out to the parade. I failed the parade mini-game. Got a Grenade as a prize and the IT guy on the news network fired (lol)

I then headed back to the locker rooms and rehearsed Rufus' send off. On my break, I went to all the shops and picked up some items. Saw Reno, Tseng and Elena hanging out, but in my disguise, they couldn't tell who I was.

The biggest purchase I made was the Revive Materia for 3000 Gil.

I headed to the boat to which Rufus was going to get sent off and performed. Scoring 200 out of 220 I was awarded a new sword called the Force Stealer by Heidegger. I snuck on the ship when we heard Sephiroth was heading across the seas as well.

On the ship, I met with the rest of the party, disguised as MP too. I found Gauge peeking at Rufus and Heidegger in the captain's quarters but before he could act, the alarm went off and a sighting of a mysterious man was announced. Tim assumed it was Sephiroth.

I headed below the deck with Yauna and Gauge? (I can't remember the second guy) But definitely Yauna. I stole six Shinra Betas from Six lucky MPs and headed into the engine room, where, for the first time in 5 years, I saw Sephiroth in the flesh. Before we could find anything out, he flew away leaving a monster behind.

It turned out to be Jenova.

We docked in Costa del Sol and spent a little time breaking. I found Hojo hanging on the beach and confronted him. Told him we saw Sephiroth but we couldn't get anything else from him. After that, I slept a night in the Inn (seriously) and headed out again.

And that's where I stopped.
Okay so a small update on my Terraria progress, i just killed all my NPC's by just letting a boss spawn in my base. Now i have a huge graveyard xD

So out of frustation i started to kill some Nod in C&C Tiberian Sun, and usually i play with 2 friendly AI's versus 5 enemy AI's and let them do their things first and take the hits while i go Sim-City and make a nice looking base, which results into one of my Power Plants getting Ion blasted every 2 minutes so i couldnt even build gates and walls, but Orca Bombers, which im totally terrible with as i had 10, sent them all to kill one AI's Construction Yard, and i came back with only 3...
