How often do you make plans to go spend the day with someone/people, only to get ditched at the last minute?

Hahaha cute pic.

Umm I won't say ditched but there is times that I go and hang out with my friends and my cousin being younger than me would say "Can I come too". I most of the time agree. but I always tell him to consult his parents before.

lol I don't mind the company

It happens way too often for me. It's so annoying though. You make sure your day is open, you do stuff early just so you can hang out... then nothing. Makes me wanna punch something.
If you meet me, have some courtesy, have some sympathy, and some taste.
Use all your well-learned politesse, or I'll lay your soul to waste.

I don't usually make plans with people and just do whatever seems best at the time. Like, Saturday rolls around and it turns into a "What do you want to do?" contest to see if anyone really cares one way or the other.

I wasn't exactly ditched, but on Friday, my friends went to go see the Dark Knight Rises. I was supposed to go with them. However, I thought we were going on SATURDAY. So, I get home, go on Facebook, and get a call from my friend asking me where the hell I am. >>

But yeah, other then that, I've never been ditched. Can't remember being ditched, anyway.
he did it, not me.

People always do this to me. Nearly all my offline 'friends' are rude and flaky. Not proper friends, really, but I like them enough when I do see them and we get on well, so...

idk I plan things months in advance and make sure I have everything necessary and make sure everyone is available on the proposed dates and then they're just like 'oh sorry something came up' or similar. It's actually kind of a horrible feeling. So usually I just... don't hang out with people. Better than rejection etc. The only things I do nowadays are TV show marathons at my house because at least 2 people are guaranteed to show since they are the ones to request that.

It happens to me all the time from one particular person. She always contacts me and suggests we get together and watch movies and stuff, and then invariably the night before or the morning of, she calls and cancels, usually saying she got called into work.

I hung out with her today, that was the first time I've seen her in six months where she hasn't cancelled lol.

It actually didn't happen too often with me in college. Only times it did happen, they at least gave me some advance notice, and it was a good reason (test coming up, work, or something like that). Usually my friends were good about keeping their promises to meet up.

Nice Simpsons reference.

It happens to me pretty frequently to me, but not so often recently. Most of the time some of my friend would plan to hang with each and I ask to tag along and then they either forget about me or I forget myself. Usually I hang in group and a few either forget or end up having other plans such as work.
Like one time, I made plans to go see a play with this one group of 15 people and only two showed up and another guy from the group came, but with his school friends. >.>

I thought this was going to be about those annoying people who ask that question, but oh, well.

It happens to me occasionally, but it's usually not all that disastrous. I usually make sure to invite a few people along to make sure that I have at least one person to spend my time with when I go out.

If it's my family, I plan on being ditched. They are the most unreliable terrible people in the universe. If it's friends/lovers, the only time I was ever ditched was when I had that druggie bf in college and he knew I hated drugs so he'd invite me out then change his mind to go get high at a party and stand me up for whatever.
