Submarines in malls x)

We have huge snow plowers to take out all the snow here. But we got waaay too many snow that we don't have any more place to put them in. So we just hope we keep trampling on them or just wait till it melts a bit xD

Depends... some places not as properly equipped with snow equipment. Wasn't that the reason why we had to call in tanks for shoveling that one year?

On the topic of snow and not for the sake of ranting, I heard on the news earlier just now that a tour bus full of mostly Korean tourists plunge 200 ft down the side of a mountain in BC due to the snow and undesirable driving conditions. I don't know if it's speeding or whatnot... lots of injuries and death =( Hope that things will turn out a bit better!

Snow can be bed, especially when you end up sleeping on airport benches because your flight can't land. Long story short, our flight back from Florida couldn't land so we diverted to Baltimore at around 1 am and slept there on benches. Although it was mostly the wind that made it impossible for us to land.
Also, I have a new userbar for the club. It will be up on the main page.
I'm a silhouette, asking every now and then
Is it over yet? Will I ever feel again?
I'm a silhouette, chasing rainbows on my own
But the more I try to move on, the more I feel alone
So I watch the summer stars to lead me home.

I've never been, no.
I could add that to the main page if you wanted. :)

While we really don't get a lot of snow here, I always find it interesting how people act like they've never been in it before when we do get it (I'd imagine a good chunk of the US is like this, too). Cars seem to go at a third of their regular speed, people bundle up twice as much (even though the temperature didn't change), and things like that. What's even worse is that no one seems to know what a shovel is, so you're stuck walking on icy sidewalks for a week or two, which isn't exactly fun on the side of a mountain.

I like the banner, but since the club is called the Land of the Maple Leaf, shouldn't there be... I don't know, a maple leaf somewhere? Maybe something like this? I don't know, just an idea.

I tried adding one in, but it looked worse than it did before. I can add that one up to the main page too if you'd like though.
And I totally agree with everything you're saying about the snow. Though people here at least know how to use a shovel to an extent. :P

Well snow is quite a sight to behold, and naturally people are curious about things in a foreign land if they don't see snow at where they live. It's normal for us if we see it every year, but it's just natural to act differently when something rare happens.

Guess someday I should add that banner... then I'll actually have a signature XD

Have you ever went to the Ice Hotel in Quebec? haha :D

Oh and Cosmotone, that userbar reminds me of one that I made long time ago. Here it is.

I've been there. It is... cold.

I would not stay there. Nope.

Doesn't sound like somewhere I'd want to go either, after a quick Google search. I'll stick to a nice, heated house. ;)

Yep. It's cold, cold, cold over there. I would say go to the Ice Hotel for a nice visit and see how nice it is inside, but don't stay there for the night. If you're looking for a nice and cozy warm bed, you'll be surprised by what you get xD

I think I'd like it for one night. I can't sleep in hotels anyway so might as well make an adventure of it, right? :P

I've never heard of that place before, but now I want to go. Sounds yummy. :P
I can't stand being cold at night. Its one of my pet peeves.

tbh It'd be interesting staying there, although I probably wouldn't because I prefer being warm when I sleep.

Although if I found myself in Montreal, I'd have to make a pitstop at Schwartz's Deli. It's the home of the Montreal smoked meat sandwich.

*adds to bucket list*
You are very correct about that. I lived here for 19 years and I still have yet to find a place that serves the best smoked meat sandwhich other than Schwartz's.

Affordable price, 10$ for the sandwich and fries. (American money will make it less than 10$ lol)
Only bad thing is that, it's crowded because of it's awesome reputation of giving the best smoked meat in Montreal since 1928.

Sorry I haven't posted for a super long time cause I was sick like a dog and bedridden for days... I guess that Deli doesn't exist outside of Montreal or something? I've never heard of it D: (or maybe I'm just behind since I don't go out for meals enough)

Also a thing I seem to realize. They don't have much poutine available outside of the province of Quebec :(
True poutineries are hard to come by. But there is poutine available at places like Harvey's

A poutinerie opened up near my school fairly recently. I keep hearing bad reviews about it though so I haven't checked it out. :(

I see poutine served in a lot of places, though. Most restaurants I've been to lately have it somewhere on their menu and a lot more fast food places are adopting it too since... well, they already serve fries, what's a few more toppings? :P

We don't have a Harvey's here :c We do have a Five Guys and a Fatburger here though.
Not Canadian, but yay Five Guys!
