So I know we all beat the champion of each region, of each game we played. But I wanna know if you would have had the same results if you and the champion were on equal grounds. For example the only items you had were a few full restores, and you had you options to "Set" instead of "Shift" for a Pokemon change. If that was so, do you think you would have defeated that champion? Which would have been the hardest if you and the champion were on equal terms?

I wish I had Full Restores going into the battle with the Champion lol. I always end up using a bunch of random berries and Super Potions before the battle.

But no I don't think it would've made a difference. I usually try to over-train so that I won't have problems with the Elite 4. I mean obviously I'll carry a couple revives for those lucky critical hit, but items shouldn't have too big of an impact.

I always have Pokemon League prep-work done long before I hit the Elite Four (Revives, Hyper Potions, Full Restores, Full Heals). But, if I only had two Full Restores, and had my setting on "Set," I'd probably would have had some trouble.

I know for Iris's battle, my Pokemon were already in the 60s, and I led off with my Vaporeon, Undine, who had Ice Beam, so.. who knows. If I had led off with anything else, I'm willing to bet Iris would've destroyed me. xD

"Ryana.. She's a Necromancer. Hers, however, uses a very peculiar system and grants her amazing abilities that no other necromancer has managed to replicate. Necromancers can control zombies, skeletons, and ghasts; Ryana specializes in zombies, but has a secondary handle on skeletons. People see Necromancers as horrible abominations. Ryana is nothing of the sort. It would take less than a day for anyone to realize that."

Typically for me it depends on the champion and how prepared I was. Like say for Cynthia, I would have had some trouble. But say Wallace his team wasnt all that threatening plus I had a manetric. The only regions I can recall where I was on par with the champion's level was Unova(1&2), Jhoto, and hoenn. Overall besides preparation i believe that your level a major factor. One thing you cant do is let the champion set up, then you might as well switch off your ds.
