Never did listen to any Christmas music during the holidays like I said I would (shame). And now I'm obviously not in the Christmas spirit anymore. ):

I don't like Christmas anymore. Work kind of ruined it for me.

The same for me, it just kind of takes away your Christmas spirit. People going crazy over spending tons of cash and whatnot.

Work didn't ruin my Christmas spirit! The lack of Christmas weather here ruined it for me this year. Luckily we got snow like two days before so it helped a little. The only time of the year I like snow.

Work kind of ruined the Christmas spirit for me, but it would have been worse if I was a cashier or worked in an electronics store. :V

And it only took from my post #1992 to post #2005 by Luke that in true PC DCC fashion, we have successfully changed a talk topic to revolve around weather again! Spirit of PC is now =D

As my only long term job is related education, I always get Christmas off. The trade-off is that the only time I have for vacation is the times when airpane tickets are at their highest (winter and summer holidays ><)

^ I <3 you

It never snows here during Christmas, but it does get cold though. Very cold. But most of you would think that our cold is warm and you'll think we're just locos.

Snow isn't specifically rare up here in Pennsylvania. Though after so long, I'm glad to see it raining again, honestly.

I guess I'm lucky, then. x:
If you don't mind my asking, where do you live now that has a lack of snow? (I don't mean specific location, of course.)

Oh, that sucks. x:
Yeah, makes sense haha.

We get decent snow here. Sometimes even over Christmas. (: Nothing like pelting other people with balls of ice on Christmas eve night haha.

Droomph, California has among the most diverse number of ecosystems on the planet. It snows in various places in California during the winter, especially in Kirkwood and the Sierras.

All the places I've lived in California, it has either snowed once in a blue moon or rained cats and dogs during the winter frequently.

Down here in Australia, I never get any snow given how we celebrate Christmas in the summer.

But yeah, never knew how cold Cali was.

California is generally in the 4 to 10 degree Celsius range during the winter, but there have been times up in the high mountains where below freezing has occurred (these are rare though and they usually don't last long). Then again, it's also hotter in certain places during the winter as well.

California is a huge state (among the most populated in the country, too), and has a greatly diverse number of biomes, so it varies greatly.

I live in the place that grows trees and white people, so there's not much going on where my house is weather-wise.

Speaking of Amador,
Spoiler:

I don't go there but we hold competitions there all the time. Apparently we're too poor to afford anything like a football field getting trampled.

Not the same place.

Amador County is a bit north-east from Pleasanton. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amador_County,_California

It's a backwater county no one in California's heard of; full of Republicans, farms, rain, Republicans, lack of record stores, lack of strip clubs/porn stores, Republicans, crappy schools, clean air, an Indian Casino, empty space, trees, hills, Republicans, lack of record stores, lack of strip clubs/porn stores, single theater with no IMAX, a decent bowling alley, thrift stores, Gold Rush history, Republicans, Republicans, a county fair with impressive livestock-terrible rides-and possibly ex-convict game vendors, Republicans, lack of strip clubs/porn stores, Republicans, and...am I leaving out anything else...oh, yes...Republicans.

However, there's never any terrible traffic, Silver Lake is amazing, so is Kirkwood, and the countryside can look beautiful even in rainy weather.

Ditto, wonder how snow feels like. How does it feel? I'm interested.
