My taste in music varies a lot.

When I was younger, I was forced to listen to country music, which I hated (it still gets on my nerves now haha). When I was able to listen to music I actually liked (meaning, on the internet), it was more like Papa Roach, Disturbed, and Three Days Grace. {: I'm listening to a Three Days Grace song right now. Apparently I haven't matured much!

I'm dying to use these lyrics (from "Scared" by Three Days Grace) in with a drawing of Slenderman again.
Spoiler:

I know there's something out there
I think I hear it move
I've never felt like this before
I wish you never told me
I wish I never knew
I wake up screaming
It's all because of you

So real, these voices in my head
I can't think of a good signature.

When I was younger, I used to listen to Three Days Grace's music all the time. They aren't the best of bands, but I liked them, and still have a soft spot for them since they were the music I grew up with. Aside from Three Days Grace, I also listened to Papa Roach a lot, but that band really fell flat in terms of good music imo. At the moment, I listen to zebrahead (listen to Here Without You, Blackout, Photographs), Skillet (Sick of It, Monster, anything from their album Comatose), Anberlin (their new album Vital was amazing), and Breaking Benjamin (Anthem of the Angels <3)
he did it, not me.

I listen to a lot of electronic music, primarily stuff from Lapfox Trax. Other than that, my tastes vary a lot. I can honestly say that there's probably a few songs from every genre that like. Even country. But out of all the music genres, country (and mainstream,) is my least favorite for pretty much the same reason Slender said. My sis and mother both love country and whenever I'm stuck in a car with them, that's pretty much all they listen too.

@Slendy: That reminded me of the lyrics of Iron Maiden's "Fear of the Dark" for some reason.
Spoiler:
I am a man who walks alone
And when I'm walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park

When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when it's dark.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Have you run your fingers down the wall
And have you felt your neck skin crawl
When you're searching for the light ?
Sometimes when you're scared to take a look
At the corner of the room
You've sensed that something's watching you.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Have you ever been alone at night
Thought you heard footsteps behind
And turned around and no-one's there ?
And as you quicken up your pace
You find it hard to look again
Because you're sure there's someone there

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Watching horror films the night before
Debating witches and folklore
The unknown troubles on your mind
Maybe your mind is playing tricks
You sense,and suddenly eyes fix
On dancing shadows from behind.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear, thought you heard
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there.

When I'm walking a dark road
I am a man who walks alone

Which is just my favourite band. Along with Megadeth and Nevermore.

And this may sound weird - but there's many metal stuff that has similarities to classical music, mainly in its structure. The lead guitars help a bit on that.

Listening to that right now. {X

<3
Which of their songs do you like? Just curious.
They're actually my favorite band, tied with zebrahead. I have all their albums except the new one in my bedroom. :3 And as for favorite songs, there's a lot. Feel Good Drag, Breaking, Someone Anyone, Little Tyrants, Foreign Language, Ready Fuels, Audrey Start the Revolution, and Alexithymia to name a few.

My taste in music is pretty varied. Some of my favorite artists right now are Kid Rock, Death Cab for Cutie, Matchbox Twenty, and some others that I can't remember.
Death Cab's Follow Me Into The Dark is amazing.

Death Cab for Cutie is great but it's no Postal Service.
I wish they had made more music, but I also have this feeling if they had it wouldn't have been as good. You know, like "don't wish for too much of a good thing" or it'll backfire on you.

I only have heard Someone Anyone out of that list. x:
Listening to Ready Fuels right now, though. Have you heard Closer yet? [: One of my favorites of their songs. The first anberlin song I heard was Paperthin Anthem, which I stumbled upon online, but ignored it for the longest time, until I bothered to give it a chance.

Wow, I don't know any of the bands you guys are mentioning. x: I've heard of some of them, but never actually listened to their music haha.

I like Three Days Grace, Red, etc. as well as some songs (or a song) by Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, As I Lay Dying,... {:
I can't think of a good signature.

But their new songs from the album rerelease are amazing too! :( I have faith.

I have, but Closer isn't one of my favorites. That whole album didn't turn out as well as I wanted it to. Paperthin is a great song though. I'd recommend the songs I listed. :3

And for the craziest moment there, I thought you were comparing Death Cab with the actual postal service, Toujie. :I
he did it, not me.

You just nearly made me spew soda onto my computer!

@Dipu
Yeah, I'll try to remember to look them up later. {: I haven't been able to hear much of Anberlin yet. A radio station I listen to over the internet plays Someone Anyone *constantly*, though, so I don't like it anymore haha. I think my favorite of theirs is Unstable. <3
I can't think of a good signature.

Yeah, it is. I'm going to go dig up the new album online and see what songs are on it.
Edit:
...Yeah, I listened to samples of some of the songs and I didn't like any of them, except Someone Anyone. x:

I had never heard of them, either. But I started to laugh while I was reading that (because I at least knew it was a band), and I was drinking soda at the same time.
I can't think of a good signature.

They're low-key electronic music. A lot of people compare them to Owl City but they're not really that close, just the same genre. TPS is a lot more mellow and less pop-y in my opinion.

I've heard of two of those, Roc, but only because I know you listen to them. X} I've never listened to any of the bands you mentioned.

Quick question- there are a bunch of stray cats in my yard, and I happen to know that they use it as a giant litterbox. One of them even sprays there. So long as I clean it well, do you guys think it's safe to eat plants that are growing in my yard? T:
