Looks like Afobe is going to be a big hit for you guys, though Grabban will always be a bad move I think. You seem pretty safe for now.

Do you think Howe would leave if offered a big opportunity? Obviously he likes the club a lot considering his return after Burnley.
I believe Howe does have a clause that allows him to talk to top 4 clubs but the only club his style would actually slot into would be Arsenal and im sure he would stay with us.

Afobe so far looks a fantastic signing looking forward to seeing him and Wilson upfront together, Grabban on the other hand looks a terrible buy just not good enough for this league.

And I so hope Sunderland go down this season they remind me of Wigan play terrible for 3/4 of the season to wake up for the final part and stay up with no real desire to actually improve in following seasons

2 - 0 is truly the most dangerous lead. Well, it is when your defence is made out of tissue paper. Tettey back next week for the easy trip to Leicester, injuries and bans have meant we've really missed the solidarity of Tetts and O'Neil during the last block of games. Am trying to not focus too much on the bottom of the table right now, should be exciting come April though.

6 clean sheets, 5 wins and a draw in 6 games for Southampton since Fraser Forster returned from injury. Surely a contender for the England squad at the Euros this summer.

I'm glad Saints are doing well anyway, gives me some football to watch while the continuous bad weather keeps causing the postponement of Totton's games. Praying the rain stays away this week though. We've got the local derby against Bashley this weekend and they drew 0-0 last night for their first point of the season.

Here's a link to the league table so you can see how well they're doing this season. {XD}

Forster's overall influence has been the key to Saint's resurgence. He is a big character in the dressing room and he instructs his defence extremely well, so much that you can clearly hear what he is saying halfway up the stands. Stekelenberg wasn't an awful 'keeper but you can definitely see what a great 'keeper brings to the game ahead of a good 'keeper.

A win over Newcastle at the weekend should secure our Premier League position for another season definetly given we still have Villa away (they cant beat us twice surely)

Unreal that our small tinpot club will manage to survive a Premier League season where we have never really have a full strength side and our top striker has been out for 4/5 of it so looking forward to next season when Afobe is upfront with Wilson

We throw results away or just get incredibly unlucky atm. Of course the big failure was not signing a central defender in the summer. David McNally pretty much told the fans that Koulibaly had agreed a contract and would have signed had Napoli gotten in a replacement, probably going to end up a 'what could have been' type of season.

Massive game tomorrow.

Boro's unstable run continues, I have no idea whether that win on Friday was the end or whether we'll continue to be constantly up and down. Gaston Ramirez is a delight to watch though.

It's a bit of a shame Spurs couldn't hold on to their win. As much as I want Leicester to win the title, it might be more fun if it stayed closer.

Hopefully you'll be supporting Boro for the rest of the year then. :P

I love him so far, I hope he doesn't fade away after a few great performances like the man he replaced (Fabbrini).

as a brighton fan i desperately hope that boro's shaky run continues. hull are looking good and burnley are looking completely unstoppable, so we need people to slip up, especially if we're not scoring against teams like pne. that one wasn't fun.

i'm pumped for MLS because it's one of the only leagues that doesn't require me to stay up until 4 in the morning to watch games. can't wait.

Premier League is pretty crazy this year.

Would be amazing that in a year where Spurs are great and the regular big sides are awful that Leicester would go and win it.

I'm a realist though unfortunately. It'll be Man City, and then they'll go onto dominate for the next few years under Pep.
Yeah this year the whole football world learned two new things. Jose Mourinho is the special three instead of special one as he self proclaimed and Leicester is in 1st position so crazy this year lol.

By my friend Master Snowy an honorary masterpiece :). Thanks a ton!

The special 3 are surely Ranieri, Pochettino and Howe
Amazing to think not only are Lecister and Spurs the top 2 theres also the potential of West Ham cracking the top 4
