I mean, when they say worldwide, do they mean that every single store in Europe/US will have these games on October 12? Or later?

I think that only Japan, US, UK, France, Italy, Germany and Australia will get the games on this day. But I don't understand when will the other non-big countries in Europe/Asia will have the games in the stores?

I'm sorry but I just don't get why people create unnecessary threads when there is a question thread.

OnT: I think that the Scandinavian countries will get it October 12th since they're are too in the same dayzone as Germany, Italy, France and the UK.

They are shipped two weeks in advance. If your store sells the game they will have them for the break date the company has set.

To add to your list, I'd imagine Ireland will get the games on 12th October too. Considering we're the UKs next door neighbours we nearly always get things the same day as they do.

I'd guess that any country that has a selectable language in the game will get it on 12th October for sure though. (UK, USA, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea)

It's kind of a weird day for Europe though, we usually get games on Fridays. (not Saturday like the 12th October is)

I'd be very surprised that Nintendo and Game Freak would go any steps away from the world wide release that they have promised. It's such a large step in the right direction (to me at least) to have the games released at once, instead of having different regions getting them at different times. If they have been hyping it up that they'd be doing this, I doubt they would ever pull away from it.
