I'm running this so far:
Noivern
Modest Nature
Frisk
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spd
@Life Orb

-Boomburst
-Draco Meteor
-Taunt
-U-Turn

(Mega) Absol
Jolly Nature
Magic Bounce
@Absolite
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

-Sucker Punch
-Psycho Cut
-X Scissor / Stone Edge
-X Scissor / Swords Dance

Metagross
Adamant
Clear Body
@Leftovers
252 HP / 96 Atk / 160 SpD

-EQ
-Meteor Mash
-Stealth Rock
-Pursuit

I would love some opinions on what else I should add / change.
Noivern is better off with a Timid nature. Use Roost somewhere on the set because it's worn down rather quickly. Also, Crobat would make a better stallbreaker:
-Brave Bird
-Taunt
-Roost
-Super Fang/U-turn/Toxic/Cross Poison
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 176 HP/192 Atk/4 SDef/136 Spe
Item: Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator

Noivern also can do stallbreaking, but to a lesser extent than Crobat:
-Taunt
-Roost
-Draco Meteor/Dragon Pulse/Hurricane
-U-turn/Hurricane/Boomburst
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Leftovers
Ability: Frisk/Infiltrator

While Absol can now hit Steels neutrally with Sucker Punch, consider Fire Blast and a Naive nature somewhere on its set because its Special Attack got the same boost as its Speed.

I'm also curious as too if a Mega Aerodactyle would be a good idea as a lead or not.
What would you use lead Mega Aerodactyl for? Regular Aero is better off in the lead slot:
-Stealth Rock
-Stone Edge/Rock Slide
-Earthquake
-Taunt/Roost/Fire Blast
Nature: Jolly/Hasty
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe (Jolly) or 100 Atk/156 SAtk/252 Spe (Hasty)
Item: Focus Sash/Life Orb
Ability: Pressure

-Glory Blaze- from Bulbagarden recommended these 2 set when I
asked for the best overall Yveltal set, but I wanted other opinions before
deciding for good... I'm leaning towards the Choice Specs set...:

Yveltal @ Choice Specs
252 Sp.Atk/224 Speed/32 HP
Modest/Timid
-Dark Pulse
-Hurricane
-Oblivion Wing
-Focus Blast/U-turn

& here's a stall set -Glory Blaze- says destroys stall team & stalls offensive teams:

Yveltal @ Leftovers
248 HP/8 Defense/252 Sp.Def
Calm
-Taunt
-Toxic
-Foul Play
-Roost

Which performs better overall?
Or does someone have a better idea?
Will anypony volunteer to make me
a Super Smash Bros. themed pony character
to use for my avatar & sigature?
For more info, PM me please!

Both sets have their merits. It depends on what your team needs. If your team is struggling with stall, the second set is good. Or else, use the Specs set.

Here are other sets to consider (mixed Yveltal and physical Yveltal):

Mixed:
-Dark Pulse
-Oblivion Wing/Hurricane
-Sucker Punch
-Roost
Nature: Mild/Hasty
EVs: 32 Atk/252 SAtk/224 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Dread Plate

Physical:
-Sucker Punch
-Acrobatics
-Dark Pulse/Taunt
-Roost
Nature: Naughty/Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/32 SAtk (or HP)/224 Spe
Item: Flying Gem

Well, now I'm planning a really BEAST team, and here are my current choices, choices are up to Gen V

1. Gengar
This guy is just a real BEAST! His crazy high Special Attack and Speed just helps me own anybody like a boss!
2. Gyarados
This thing is the only Pokemon that can match up with the all powerful Dragonite, because it can learn Ice Beam, Flamethrower and Thunderbolt! Its stats are strong too, but of course, the move pool is really, really great!
3. Dragonite
One word, BEAST. Still the strongest, staying the strongest. Widest movepool, BEAST stats. Who wouldn't love Dragonite?
4. Starmie
Not 100% sure about Starmie, but anyhow, Starmie can easily defeat a variety of types. It's Special Attack is really strong, and it can learn moves like Psychic, Thunderbolt, Surf, Recover, and a ton more. The only reason why I'm not sure about this is because it VERY easily loses to Ghost, Dark and Electric types.
5. Tyranitar
Attack is BEAST, Health is BEAST, Defense and Special Defense are BEAST. Speed is, well, crap. Anyhow, Tyranitar is literally a TANK, even a Water type using Surf couldn't K.O it.
6. Metagross
Really great stats, and thanks to it's high defense, it can counter most Fighting type moves (except Focus Blast), and thanks to it's strong defense, again, it won't die too easily against Fire nor Ground types.

Problem is: 3 of the Pokemon I chose are weak against Ground types. If the opponent uses a really quick Pokemon that knows Earthquake, I'm kinda done for.

Please help me improve this Pokemon team, and remember, NO legendaries and NO starters. I find both a little bit boring when brought into the game. Thanks!

232 HP / 56 SpA / 220 Spe

Voltswitch
Hydropump
Will-O Wisp
Pain Split
If Scizor needs a Fighting move, use Brick Break for now.

Use Leftovers on Wash Rotom.

Something else that actually deals with Dragons would be nice on the team, like Mamoswine:
-Earthquake
-Icicle Crash
-Ice Shard
-Superpower/Stealth Rock
Nature: Jolly/Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat

Since Scizor and Wash Rotom will switch around a lot, entry hazards tend to wear them down over time. Starmie can spin these hazards away:
-Hydro Pump/Surf
-Thunderbolt/Psyshock
-Ice Beam
-Rapid Spin
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Expert Belt/Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure

or
-Scald
-Rapid Spin
-Psyshock/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt
-Recover
Nature: Timid
EVs: 248 HP/32 Def/4 SAtk/224 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure

A Dragon Pokemon of your own can also be thrown into the team for brute force, like Salamence (for simplicity's sake, it will be listed here; you can try out other Dragons and see which one works for you):
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage/Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast/Hydro Pump
Nature: Naive
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Lum Berry

or
-Outrage
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast/Aqua Tail
Nature: Naive/Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie

or
-Draco Meteor
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast
Nature: Naive
EVs: 64 Atk/192 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb

I'm picking pokemon for a WiFi Team. I don't know what I'm doing with these new pokemon, but here are the ones I have available. Talonflame and Hawlucha probabbly shouldn't be on the same team. Goodra + Doublade might be a good combo of Physical Bulk and Special Wall.

Talonflame
->Gale Wings
Flare Blitz
Acrobatics
Roost
??

Greninja
->Protean
??
No idea how to make the most of Protean

Goodra
->Gooey / Sap Sipper
Don't Know it's moves

Dublade @Eviolite
Sacred Sword
Shadow Sneak
??
Swords Dance

Hawlucha
(his abilities are hard to choose from) (as far as I know, there are no Flying Gems yet.)
Hone Claws (because a single HJK fail can kill you)
Hi Jump Kick / Flying Press
Brave Bird / Acrobatics
U-Turn

(Flying Gem/Acro/Unbudren is a good combo. Limber protects it from EVER losing speed. Mold Breaker doesn't seem entirely needed on him.

I'm looking for a good 6th gen. Moveset and EV spread for a calm gyarados with perfect attack and sp. def IVs
Honestly, Calm is a TERRIBLE nature for Gyarados. It wastes away its excellent Attack. A physically defensive spread is better because it takes advantage of Intimidate more easily. Milotic and Wash Rotom outclass Gyarados at specially defensive spreads:
-Waterfall
-Dragon Tail/Roar
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
Nature: Impish
EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate

U-Turn

(Flying Gem/Acro/Unbudren is a good combo. Limber protects it from EVER losing speed. Mold Breaker doesn't seem entirely needed on him.
Give Talonflame Swords Dance to compensate for its middling Attack.

Here are some Greninja sets for you to consider. Be aware that it suffers from 4-moveslot syndrome:
-Hydro Pump
-Ice Beam
-Grass Knot/Hidden Power (Fire)
-U-turn
Nature: Hasty/Naive
EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Protean

or
-Spikes
-Hydro Pump
-Ice Beam/Dark Pulse
-U-turn
Nature: Hasty/Naive
EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Focus Sash/Leftovers
Ability: Protean

Give Doublade Iron Head as a secondary STAB. Use an Adamant nature with 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def.

Limber and Unburden are good abilities on Hawlucha. Don't have much to say except that you need to find a Flying Gem.

I'm building up what I think is turning out to be a pretty solid team at the moment but I'm stumped on what my fifth and sixth Pokemon should be. I would have used my Jirachi and Zapdos from the older games to fill the blanks but I gotta wait two months for that. So for now, I gotta settle with whats available. Here's my team.
Spoiler:

Roserade
-Poison Spikes
-Spikes
-Sleep Powder
-Giga Drain
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP/120 Def/176 SDef
Item: Black Sludge
Ability: Natural Cure

Gengar (Mega Gengar)
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb
Focus Blast
Destiny Bond
Nature: Timid
EVs: 80 HP/252 Satk/172 Spe
Item: Gengarite
Ability: Shadow Tag/Levitate

Azumarill
-Aqua Jet
-Belly Drum
-Super Power
-Play Rough
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 252 HP/252 Att/4 Spe
Item: Leftovers/Mystic Water/Lum Berry (undecided)
Ability: Huge Power

Gliscor (used a set from Smogon)
-Earthquake
-Toxic (Maybe Taunt if Poison Spikes works out)
-Ice Fang (May change to U-turn if I find good Ice Coverage)
-Roost
Nature: Impish
EV's: 244 HP/ 248 Def/ 16 spe
Item: Poison Orb
Ability: Poison Heal

I'm thinking I could use some fire coverage incase Scizor comes and ruins things for a majority of my team and maybe something to deal with any fast Psychic users. I'm just not sure what Pokemon to fit into the last two spots. Can anyone throw some suggestions?

Trainer Academy RP Pokemon
Dynamo, Rosellia, Male Level: 15
Moves: Spikes, Stun Spore, Power Whip, Sludge Bomb, Growth

Buster, Marill, Male Level: 11
Moves: Aqua Jet, Water Gun, Belly Drum, Tail Whip, Tickle

Knox, Sandygast, Female Level 10
Moves: Absorb, Astronish, Sand Attack, Destiny Bond, Ancient Power

Would it being a mega gyarados help it, even though it's calm. The reason I really want to hang onto it is because it's a shiny lol
A defensive Mega Gyarados isn't worth it. Mold Breaker is an offensive ability, and thus, Mega Gyarados is more suited to offensive roles. Water/Dark is also a worse defensive typing than Water/Flying, IMO.

Superpower weakens Azumarill's boosted Attack from Belly Drum. Drop it for Waterfall. Water/Fairy has good coverage together.

Blaziken can help out against Scizor. It doesn't rely on having a Mega Stone, though, as its regular form can have Speed Boost as well:
-Flare Blitz
-High Jump Kick
-Protect
-Swords Dance/Baton Pass
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Leftovers
Ability: Speed Boost

I dunno how your last slot should be filled. Try to experiment and see what works.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but it was the only one I could find that seemed to fit ^^'

Erm, so, as the title says, I'd like someone who knows more about competitive battling to tell me if the following would be good for a Sylveon:

Toxic
Protect
Psyshock
Draining Kiss

That, while holding Leftovers... Well?

I'd personally pick Tyranitar, followed by the rare Bisharp, because so far none of your team resists Flying, Ghost or Psychic, so one of these will make perfect defensive synergy.

I have a team of 5 pokemons (fire, grass, pyschc, water and dark).
I'm looking for another pokemon that suits my deck. Any suggestion?
A Steel-type works very well with the others, as they resist Flying, Poison and Rock which no-one resists.
Boilurn, the Scald Pokemon and the evolved form of Hottle. It can burn the holder by the lightest of touches when it boils. It can boil 3 gallons of water in one minute.

I'm EV Training Doublade and Goodra. Need some advise on where to put the points.

[email protected]
Adamant
252 Attack
128 Defense
128 Special Defence

Some people will through 252 into defense, but what is the point if his Special D. is so exploitable? Some points should be in SD because the Eviolite brings it up to average/above average.

Maybe I don't need 252 in Attack... but his Attack is really good for a Tank/Wall. I suposed raising his Walling ability - He could just Swords Dance instead of using EV points.

Should I move some points to HP instead?

EDIT: PlatinumDude already posted some advice on Doublade. "Give Doublade Iron Head as a secondary STAB. Use an Adamant nature with 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def."

----

Goodra - Gooey

252 Hp
128 Defense
128 Special Defense

Goodra's weakest stat is defence and his ability only procs on physical hits. Investing some in Defense should be there.

How are my numbers on these pokemon? Should I adjust the EVs?

Calm Nature
- Moonblast

- Roar / Toxic / Heal Bell / Calm Mind

Wish and Protect for healing and team support. Moonblast is its best STAB move, last slot is up to you. Roar to PHaze and rack up hazard damage, Toxic to poison junk, Heal Bell for healing your teams status conditions and Calm Mind to attempt a sweep.

If you use Calm Mind, use max HP and Defense with a Bold Nature.

I also have Florges on my team right now, So I was thinking Goodra would be a more aggressive tank reling on natural bulk to take down threats. Florges can use wish to heal Goodra after taking some hits.

To be honest, with Goodra being a new pokemon, I don't know the best way to use him.
