what is your worse bad luck battle you've ever had in a Pokémon game? what just did not go right in that battle?

mine, I was playing Pokémon Black 2 and just got my Oshawott and my very first battle in the game against the rival, he took me down in three hits (all critical). I reset the game...

One time, I thought I ran into a shiny Lillipup while training my Ekans in White. I only think it was shiny. Not totally sure. But the fact I'm not 100% and possibly killed a shiny really, really irks me.

I was playing the original Red and found a Clefairy on Mt. Moon, I had it weakened enough to catch and when I pressed down on the d-pad it for some reason highlighted run, so yeah a perfect catch lost.

Similar thing happened to me in my Pearl version where I ran into a shiny Starly really early in the game and I was gonna use one attack on him to weaken him a bit because I only had 2 Pokeballs left and I wanted to make sure I caught him, but I critted and he fainted B(

Probably the time in Ruby when I ran into a wild Lvl 14 Roselia when my Lvl 100 Blaziken was badly injured. I tried to run away but it wouldn't let me. Then the Roselia poisoned me and my Blaziken fainted. It was the most embarrassing and pathetic moment of my Pokemon career.

This isn't just one situation; but finding a Pokemon you've been searching for and then either getting a critical hit on it or it uses Teleport/Whirlwind/Roar, it's just the worst!

When I'm battling a wild Pokemon or in a trainer battle and the foe uses Hypnosis. No big deal, I'll just use a full heal. Next move is Hypnosis... Okay, I'll just use another full heal then. Hypnosis, Argh!!
Naturally the turn that i don't use the full heal, a new attack is used other than Hypnosis... -_-'
Lucky it doesn't happen too often though!

I have a very fair share of bad moments, but the worst would easily have to be if I encounter a wild Pokemon that is way faster than the Pokemon I'm training, get that annoying "Can't escape" message and then watch it destroy me before my eyes.

Also, running into rival battles or other important battles fully unprepared. It happened with the battle against Brendan on Route 110 when I was playing Ruby.

lol. how could i have forgotten this.

Pokemon Yellow: After capturing my first Mankey and Rattata... you curiously try to explore the world west of you (later realize it's the road to the Pokemon League). Poof! Gary shows up and battles you with his level 9 spearow and lv 8 Eevee. Pikachu at red + slower than spearow? oof. First lesson learned: Don't explore suspicious areas with weak pokemon. Oh yes, hello to you too, first blackout.

Cynthia's Spiritomb today. Crit-hitted Dark Pulse to OHKO Rampardos, Manaphy and Honchkrow (2HKO for the latter). One Rock Polish and Rampardos would've swept half of Cynthia's team, yet her weakest attack one-hitted him. Luckily I came back from only 2 pokémon left to defeat her.

Worst experience: Pokémon Crystal: Whitney destroyed my whole team with that annoying Miltank that has the most annoying yet deadly move set
Gotta go with this. Oh, the terrible terrible memories of that Miltank. Took me seven tries to beat her in my fist game in Gold. It's Rollout kept landing criticals, and when I had finally chipped away at a good chunk of its HP, it went and used Milk Drink.

My "bad luck" memory was at the Battle Subway. On White I was doing well winning 19 games out of 21 on the single train and had my Simisage up against Jellicent. With that type advantage I knew that I was going to win and challenge Ingo, but in shock horror my Seed Bomb missed (Probably because Jellicent was holding a stupid evasion-boosting item) and Jellicent knocked my Simisage out with a combo of Trick Room and Ice Beam. I'll never forget that horrible unlucky moment.

In Sapphire, 49 wins at the Battle Tower and my Sceptile fainted to a Walrein's Ice Beam, my Walrein beat the other Walrein and they sent out Flygon and KOed my Walrein and Camerupt. Streak broken and I had to start all over again.

Here's another two I remembered...

When an opponent uses a move that has a chance of inducing a status condition, gets the critical hit and the status condition!

Fainted a shiny Steelix on Victory Road in Platinum with one Dragon Claw from Garchomp!

When you are fighting with a type diss-advantage the opponnent use a super effective move that ends up being critical to.

Encounter a shiny Pidgey in FireRed, before getting my first set of pokéballs.

Started new game just for fun in FireRed (I was not gonna save). Encounter a shiny Caterpie at Viridian Forest. Encountet a shiny Kangaskhan on Safari Zone and caught with the first ball. After that I was gonna definitely save and then I remembered... I had chosen the girl. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
My blog: "You know... that guy". Why don't you take a look at it? Just started it and if you have suggestion for any subject for me to write about I will gladly considerate it and give my thoughts on it!

I was training my pokemon in the Fire Red victory road. All of my mons had fainted except for my level 60+ haunter. Haunter was really close to leveling up again, but had pretty low hp, and I didn't want to bother healing anybody until he was leveled up. I carelessly remembered that I'd missed a trainer outside of Mt Moon, and figured it'd be an easy win / level for my haunter. Their pokemon was a Jigglypuff that knew only normal type moves, so I was confident. Sadly... the only move with any pp left was shadow ball. I managed to run through the rest of shadow ball's pp until I struggle-killed myself and the Jigglypuff at the same time.
I'm really not excited about this...
